Abstract

Pembelajaran yang telah dialami oleh mahasiswa baik di sekolah menengah maupun di perguruan tinggi masih menyisakan ketidakpahaman konsep dan bahkan miskonsepsi yang kuat. Oleh sebab pembelajaran seharusnya difokuskan pada upaya untuk melakukan perubahan konseptual terhadap konsep-konsep yang masih salah dipahami oleh mahasiswa. Perubahan konseptual tersebut dapat terjadi, jika mahasiswa menyadari adanya ketidaksesuaian antara peristiwa-peristiwa yang pernah dialami dengan ekspektasi intelektual mereka. Kesadaran terhadap adanya ketidaksesuaian tersebut dapat menyebabkan mahasiswa mengalami konflik kognitif dan hal ini merupakan langkah pertama dalam perubahan konseptual, yaitu kesadaran terhadap adanya kontradiksi yang diikuti dengan kesadaran akan adanya kebutuhan untuk melakukan perubahan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan model perubahan konseptual dengan pendekatan konflik kognitif (MPK-PKK), agar mahasiswa benar-benar menyadari bahwa ada konflik kognitif yang terjadi pada dirinya sehingga proses perubahan konseptual yang diharapkan dapat terjadi. Model pembelajaran ini telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti beserta instrumennya dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan kondisi proses berpikir yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa agar terjadi perubahan konseptual, serta untuk mengetahui besarnya konflik kognitif yang terjadi pada mahasiswa pada saat pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran ini telah di validasi pada kegiatan FGD (Focused Group Discussion) yang dilakukan di Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) dan menghasilkan rekomendasi bahwa model ini layak di aplikasikan pada kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dan di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Fault is a displacement of the land with a certain direction and shift that triggers an earthquake. The existence of faults that are not visible on the surface can be identified by measuring the gravity anomaly above the earth's surface around the fault zone. This study was conducted with the aim of testing the effectiveness of radial derivatives for identification of fault zones, i.e the presence and positions of faults. Radial derivative is a horizontal derivative of the earth's gravity anomaly value with the radial direction away from a certain point that is considered as the radial center. Gravity anomaly data used in this study is synthetic data from computer calculations using the principle of forward modeling from a fault model. This model is in the form of a displacement of the rocks making up the soil at a depth of 100 m with a vertical shift direction of 4 m with an area of the fault zone 600 m x 600 m or 360,000 m2. This synthetic gravity data is then performed a radial derivative treatment. The results of this study show that radial derivatives are able to identify the presence and position of the fault.

Abstract

Inter-Semester Lectures are identical students whose level of mastery of concept skills is still low. Efforts that can be made to improve students' mastery of concepts are applying learning with the cognitive conflict approach. Students have a very low understanding of concepts in basic physics subjects in temperature and heat. The purpose of this study is to improve the mastery of the concept of students in the material Temperature and Heat. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study used students of physics education study programs at one of the universities in NTB. The number of samples in this study was 20 students. The research instrument used was a multiple-choice question. Improved understanding of concepts was analyzed by the N-Gain test. The results showed an increase in mastery of the concept of material temperature and heat after learning with the cognitive conflict approach with an average N-Gain of 0.62 in the medium category

Abstract

This research is a Pre-experimental research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study aims to describe the students 'problem solving abilities during the learning process and determine the effect of CCM CCA learning models on problem solving skills and mastery of students' static fluid concepts. The study population was all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 4 Praya with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The research sample was students in the three classes that were used as experimental classes that were given treatment in the form of learning using the CCM CCA learning model. Problem solving skills are obtained during the learning process by using LKPD which is equipped with problem solving ability instruments. The instrument used for problem-solving abilities uses test instruments in the form of test descriptions. Problem solving ability is measured by problem description. The conclusions obtained, namely 1) the level of problem-solving ability when the learning process is included in the medium category, 2) the CCM CCA learning model influences the ability of problem solving and mastery of students' static fluid concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the ability of soft skills and hard skills of students after attending Elementary Electronics learning through creative learning based on student-cantered learning with problem-based learning models. Research subjects in this study were 25 students of the physics education program University of Mataram.  This type of research is a qualitative descriptive and assessment of the ability of soft skills and hard skills carried out by 2 observers based on the assessment of soft skills and hard skills assessment instruments when learning Elementary Electronics is ongoing. Based on the results of the study, learning Basic Electronics I based on student centered learning with problem based learning models combined with the use of livewire 1.1 Pro including learning that can increase student activity. This learning can increase student soft skills and hard skills up to 85% which is included in the very high category

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the characteristics and validity of learning tools with inquiry models integrated of character education that is used in learning at junior high school level. The intended learning tools include syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, student worksheets, and scientific creativity test instruments. This research is an evaluative descriptive study that describes the characteristics and evaluates the quality of the validity of learning tools. The learning tools validation process involves three validators who validate the learning tools on aspects of content validity and construct validity. The validation results show that the validator's assessment of the learning framework developed in the aspects of content validity and construct validity are categorized as very valid with an average range of scores of ?85%, with a percentage of agreement ?75%. The results of this study can be used as a foundation that the learning tools with inquiry models integrated of character education can be implemented in the field.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama saat ini yaitu kurang efektifnya kegiatan pembelajaran baik pembelajaran akademik maupun non akademik terutama di sekolah akibat dari Pandemi Covid-19, perubahan sikap dan perilaku anak yang tidak sesuai dengan umurnya, kurang berkembangnya kreatifitas anak, kebiasaan peserta didik (anak-anak) yang semakin candu terhadap gadget sehingga menggerus kebiasaan anak yang biasanya senang bersosialisasi dengan teman-teman seusianya. Keadaan ini memerlukan adanya penanaman nilai-nilai atau sikap peduli, religius dan kreatifitas anak secara efektif dan transformatif. Maka dari itudilakukan program Rumah Belajar Pintarguna Meningkatkan Sikap Peduli Lingkungan, Religius, dan Kreatif di Dusun Inen Selao (Repok Waru), Desa Rarang, Kecamatan Terara. Adapunmetode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu: 1) tahap perencanaan yang mana mahasiswa akan melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi ke masyarakat mengenaii pentingnya pendidikan, sehingga diharapkan masyarakat akan termotivasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.; 2) tahap pelaksanaan yang mana pada tahap pelaksanaan ini, mahasiswa akan menguji keandalan karya media serta modul pembelajaran yang telah dibuat, dapat dinilai dari aktifnya anak-anak dalam mengikuti proses pembelajara.; 3) tahap evalusi, pada tahap evaluasi ini, mahasiswa akan melihat dan mengukur sejauh mana tingkat keberhasilan dari Program Rumah Belajar Pintar yang telah berjalan melalui berbagai kegiatan lomba yang harus diikuti oleh anak-anak. Adapun berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu meningkatnya sikap peduli lingkungan, religius, dan berkembangnya kreativitas pada anak-anak di Dusun Inen Selao, Desa Rarang, Kecamatan Terara.Kata Kunci: Peduli Lingkungan, Religius, Kreatif, Rumah Belajar Pint

Abstract

Misconceptions are an obstacle in the learning process, especially in physics. One way to detect misconceptions is to use a three-tier diagnostic test and analyze it using the Certainty of Response Index (CRI). The purpose of this study was to detect students' misconceptions on straight motion material using a three-tier diagnostic test with CRI analysis. This type of research is descriptive research. The sample in this study was taken from students at three high schools in East Lombok district, NTB. The number of samples in this study was 132 students. This test instrument consists of 10 question items. The results showed that students still experienced many misconceptions in straight motion material.

Abstract

Mataram University through the Center for Technology and Computer Science and the Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development has developed online learning through SPADA UNRAM. Based on the observations of the Postgraduate Quality Assurance Group, the use of online learning through SPADA UNRAM by lecturers in the Postgraduate environment is still below 50% of the number of available courses. Online learning conducted by lecturers is still focused on using the zoom application. Online development workshops have been carried out by the Quality Assurance Group for lecturers at the Postgraduate University of Mataram through service activities that focus on training on the use of the UNRAM SPADA platform and training on the development of learning management systems (LMS) at SPADA UNRAM . The workshop activities were carried out for 3 (three) days, namely from August 4-6, 2021 with the aim of increasing the number of courses developed by lecturers through SPADA UNRAM, so that they could support SPMI in Postgraduate. On August 4, 2021, a workshop was opened and the delivery of online learning development materials through SPADA UNRAM was held. Meanwhile, the assistance for the development of online learning is carried out for 2 days, from 5-6 August 2021 with each study program in the Postgraduate environment accompanied by a lecturer/resource person. The results of the workshop activity showed an increase in the content of the material on the LMS which was getting better for courses in study programs in the Postgraduate environment that already existed at SPADA and the addition of new courses developed at SPADA UNRAM.

Abstract

The development of life in the 21st century requires a variety of skills that one must master. Physics learning in schools has a central role in providing 21st-century skills to students. Physics learning is an integrated field that facilitates 21st-century skills and much research is being done in this field. The purpose of this research is to provide a review or general overview related to 21st-century skills-based physics learning research (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving, and Creativity and Innovation) in Indonesia. This type of research is a literature study. The articles analyzed are articles published in Sinta-accredited national journals with publication years ranging from 2015-2020 and Scopus indexed international journals, as well as journal research fields focusing on evaluation and learning physics. The number of articles analyzed was 300 articles from national and international journals. From 2015 to 2020, critical thinking skills were the most researched topic with a percentage of 12% and 27% of researchers did not mention the physics topic studied in their research. A lot of learning research, especially physics learning, focuses on a quantitative approach in solving problems in the field of physics education in this case related to 21st-century skills. Most of the 4C skills-based physics learning research uses a relatively small sample of under 100 samples with the majority of the research locations being found mostly focused on Bali-Nusra and Java. The research subjects most frequently researched regarding 21st-century skills are high school level (SMA/SMK/MA).
