Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbantuan alat praktikum usaha dan energi terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Gunungsari tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian posttest only control group design. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas X MIA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 24 orang dan  kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 27 orang. Kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning berbantuan alat praktikum usaha dan energi sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran Konvensional. Data penguasaan konsep diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes uraian sebanyak 10 soal yang sudah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembeda soal. Hasil tes akhir penguasaan konsep diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 77,55 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 73,19. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan uji t polled varians dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dan diperoleh hasil  sebesar 2,12 dan   sebesar 2,02 sehingga nilai  lebih besar dari . Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbantuan alat praktikum usaha dan energi terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika peserta didik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan validasi secara konstruk dan isi pada multimedia interaktif materi kemagnetan berbasis indikator penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Pengembangan ini menggunakan metode pengembangan 4D yaitu define, design, develop, dan dissemination. Multimedia interaktif pada materi kemagnetan berbasis indikator penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang dikembangkan terdiri dari aplikasi multimedia interaktif dengan Macromedia Flash 8, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), RPP, dan instrumen evaluasi. Jurnal ini hanya fokus pada validitas produk yang dikembangkan. Uji validasi dilakukan oleh 4 orang validator ahli dibidang fisika dan pendidikan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis validasi menggunakan indeks Aiken dan analisis reliabilitas menggunakan percentage agreement diperoleh bahwa validitas multimedia interaktif pada materi kemagnetan berbasis indikator penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria valid dan reliabel.

Abstract

This study aim to analyze the critical thinking level of mechanical wave in the students of MAN 2 Mataram through Cognitive Conflict Approach. This research is a pre-experimental study with design only pretest-posttest group design. The population in this study is all students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Mataram, amounting to 257 students. Research sampling using purposive sampling technique, so selected XI class MIA 1, XI MIA 2, and XI MIA 4 as an experimental class that will be given treatment in the form of cognitive conflict approach. Data collection of critical thinking ability is done by description test as much as 5 problem and at the learning process obtained through LKPD. The results of hypothesis test analysis using parametric test paired sample t test and show that Ho rejected and Ha accepted, while the level of critical thinking ability included in category is very high for class XI MIA 1 and high category for class XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 4. The conflict cognitive approach applied successfully to increase the critical thinking ability.

Abstract

E-learning is learning process through electronic media, especially internet. E-learning enables learners to learn or possess science no matter when and where. The goal of this study was to develop Moodle in problem-based learning in order to improve learners’ critical thinking skills. . The study was a research and development (R&D) study conducted in four stages, i.e. preliminary study, developing design, testing Moodle as media for problem-based learning, and result dissemination. Subjects of this study were students of physic education program of Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education of IKIP Mataram who enrolled in Wave course. Data on critical thinking skills is collected through tests, where tests have been validated by experts. The results of the study indicate an increase in students' critical thinking skills. Moreover, students gave positive response towards the use of Moodle developed as media in problem-based learning.

Abstract

Inter-semester courses (KAS) Classes are identical to low grade classes with students whose level of understanding is inadequate. Students in this class usually have a misunderstanding of many concepts or misconceptions. Efforts that can be performed to improve the student’s concepts is the method of conceptual change through unexpected questions, namely questions that most likely have not been thought of by students or the answers have not been thought of before by the student. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of conceptual change learning with unexpected questions to improve understanding of concepts. This research was conducted in the inter-semester course class of 2018-2019 school year which was conducted in July 2019, with students from all study programs at the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, Teaching and Education Faculty, at A University in Mataram City. The results of this study indicate that this method can significantly improve understanding of the concept. The treatment has successfully increasing the understanding of concept from 26.4% to 62.9%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan guru sebagai “Role Model” keterampilan abad 21 pada pembelajaran IPA SMP dilihat dari perangkat pembelajaran berupa RPP yang telah disusun dan dikembangkan. RPP yang disusun dan dikembangkan oleh 20 guru SMP di Kota Mataram, dianalisis dan diberi penilaian sesuai indikator pengembangan RPP yang mengacu pada kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode campuran (mixed method) yaitu menggunakan model Exploratory Design. Metode ini terdiri atas tiga proses sebagai berikut: (1) Proses kualitatif; (2) Proses kuantitatif; dan (3) Proses interpretasi data didasarkan pada proses pertama dan kedua. Hasil analisis dan penilaian RPP guru kelas VII dan kelas VIII masing-masing memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang berkisar dari 46%-70% dan 70%-85%. Kesalahan yang sering terjadi dari RPP yang telah dibuat adalah tidak ada kecocokan antara kompetensi dasar dengan indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, serta belum terlihat kecakapan abad 21 (HOTS) dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang dirancang. Fakta ini menunjukkan perlu adanya penjelasan lebih detail tentang RPP agar mampu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran sesuai keterampilan abad 21 yang diharapkan.

Abstract

As a result of Covid-19, the learning system has changed towards online learning. Practicum activities encountered obstacles and had to be replaced by virtual experiments. This study aims to see the role of virtual experiments during online learning in basic electronics courses and to describe students' conceptual understanding. The subject in this study amounted to 56 students. The research data collection instrument used a conceptual understanding test. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics This virtual experiment using the LiveWire application. The results showed that virtual experiments carried out during online learning were able to help students' practicum activities and most students had a high category understanding of concepts after learning. This shows that virtual experiments with LiveWire can be used as an alternative to assist practicum activities when doing online learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran CCM CCA terhadap penguasaan konsep fluida statis peserta didik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 4 Praya dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik pada ketiga kelas yang dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran CCM CCA. Instrumen yang di gunakan untuk penguasaan konsep menggunakan instrumen tes yang berupa tes pilihan ganda. Data penguasaan konsep diuji dengan menggunakan uji N-gain secara lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui peningkatan per indicator. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cognitive conflict approach to critical thinking skills and conceptual understanding in mechanical wave material. This type of research is a Pre-experimental research design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study population was all students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Mataram with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The research sample was students in all three classes that were used as experimental classes which were given treatment in the form of learning using the cognitive conflict approach. An instrument for critical thinking skills using student worksheet and description test. While the data of conceptual understanding was obtained by a multiple-choice test. Hypothesis testing in this research is a paired t-test and MANOVA test. The results of the hypothesis test give the conclusion that there is an effect of the cognitive conflict approach to critical thinking skills and conceptual understanding in mechanical wave students in MAN 2 Mataram in the three experimental classes.
