Abstract

Abstract: The research was classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes with applied the cooperative learning type of think pair square (TPS). The subject of the research is students of class VIIIEropa SMP Juara Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2013/2014. There are 22 students in the class, consist of 11 boys and 11 girls who have heterogeneous academic ability. The research are two cycles, each a cycle has four stages, that are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each end of the cycle of daily tests carried out. Data collected through observation and tests in the form of daily tests. Data analysis was performed with narrative descriptive analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. Results of this research showed that the teacher’s activities and students have done well after doing the action. Most of students were excited and active in learning process. Such as while they were doing the steps of learning, presenting students’ worksheet or questions, responding the friend’s presentation and giving the conclusion of learning. The action is successful if the number of students who achieve a score of minimum mastery criteria increase in daily tests I and II. The number of students who achieve a score of minimum mastery criteria on basic, daily test I (first cycle) and daily test II (second cycle) are respectively 13.63%, 40.91%, and 86.63%. Results of this research indicates that the cooperative learning type of think pair square can improve learning process and students' mathematics learning outcomes math class VIIIEropa SMP Juara Pekanbaru.Key words: Mathematics learning outcome, Cooperative learning, Think Pair Square, Class action research

Abstract

Abstract: Data daily test results of students of class VIIB SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Lala provide information that the percentage of learners who reach the criteria masses of mminimum is still low. This Study aims to improve the learning process and the student’s outcomes of mathematic learning by applying problem based learning model. This cclassroom action research with two cycles was conducted in class VIIB SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Lala in the second semester of academic year 2018/2019 to 32 students.The required data are teacher and students activities, collected by observation technique and analyzed by descriptive narative analysis, and data of the students evaluation collected by tes technique and analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis. Statistics descriptive analysis shows that students mathematics learning outcomes improved from the basic score to the Quiz I, from Quiz I to Quiz II. This study concludes is implementation of problem based learning improved the learning process and the student’s outcomes of mathematic learning at class VIIB SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Lala in the second semester of academic year 2018/2019.Key Words: Problem Based Learning, Outcomes of Mathematic Learning, Learning Process

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIIB MTs As-Syafi’iyyah Air Panas in the odd semester of the academic year 2018/2019. The subject of this research consist of 23 students. The research instrument consists of learning materials used include Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Student Work Sheets and instruments for collecting data are observation sheets and test of mathematics learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive narrative analysis and descriptive statistics analysis. From the analysis of observation sheets, it can be seen that there is improvement of learning process. The percentage and frequency of students who achieved minimum completeness criteria is increased from the basic score with percentage 4,35% (1 students) to cycle I with percentage 43,48 (10 students) and 60,87% (14 students) in cycle II. This research concludes that the implementation of PBL model improved the learning process and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes at class VIIB MTs As-Syafi’iyyah Air Panas in the odd semester of the academic year 2018/2019Key Words: Problem Based Learning Model, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research was classroom action research with two cycles. The purpose of this research was to improve the learning process and the students’ mathematics learning result at class VII A4 at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru through the implentation cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) especially on social arithmetic topic. The research instruments were learning devices which were syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), and student woksheet (LKS) and the instruments of collecting data were observation sheets and students’ mathematics test. The subject of this research was the students at class VII A4 at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru which consisting of 24 girls with heterogeneous ability. Based on the analyzed of students and teacher activity after implemented the cooperative learning type TSTS, it can be concluded that there was an improvement of learning process at each cycles. Students’ participation was more active and become more independent through the learning process. The analyzed of students’ mathematics learning result data shows that there was an improvement of students’ mathematic learning result in second cycle. There were 16,67% students that reach KKM in UH I, and its improved in UH II which 54,17% students who reach KKM. Based on the result above, it could be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning type TSTS can improve the learning process and the students’ mathematics learning result at class VII A4 at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.Key Word: mathematics learning result, cooperative learning, two stay two stray, classroom action research

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the problems that occurred in the VIIIC class of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru and the result of learning mathematics which is still under the KKM with percentage 42,85% on subject that related to Pythagoras theorem. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve student learning achievement by applying cooperative learning model with structural Numbered Heads Together (NHT) approach. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The data was collected by doing observation of teachers and students activities and formative test. The data analysis of the research results showed that the weakness in cycle I has been improved with improvement plan that will be done in cycle II, it means that there has been improvement in the learning process. In addition, the number of students who achieved KKM on the basic score, formative test I (first cycle), formative test II (second cycle) were 42,85%, 53,57%, dan 71,43%, respectively. The percentage of achievement of this KKM also shows improvement from before action to after action so that it can be said that student learning achievement also increase. The results of this research indicate that cooperative learning model with structural Numbered Heads Together (NHT) approach can improve the learning process and improve the learning achievement of mathematics students VIIIC of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru second semester of the academic year 2016/2017.Key Words: Math Learning Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model With Structural Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Approach, Clasroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop mathematics learning device that are Lesson Plan (LP) and Students Worksheet (SW) and 2013 curriculum based prism and pyramid material using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach for SMP/MTs students.This development research uses 4D development model who developed by Thiagarajan and modified by Endang Mulyatiningsih. The development carried out by the stages: (1) define; (2) design; (3) development; and (4) dessemination that is not implemented due to time and cost limitations. Data collection instrumen in this study were LP and SW validation sheets and student response questionaires. Then, learning device that had been compiled are validated by three validators and revised according to validator’s suggestions. Then, learning device that had been validated are tested in two stages, namely small group trials with the subject of six students of class VIII.B SMP Negeri 4 Tambang and a large group trial with the subject of 25 class VIII Andalusia students of SMP Juara Pekanbaru. Based on the data analysis results and the discussion it can be concluded that the 2013 curriculum based curriculum learning prism and pyramid material with a Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach for SMP / MTs students was considered valid with the rating average for lesson plans was 3.18 and the rating average for Students Worksheet is 3.11, and meets the practical requirements for use by the students of grade VIII SMP/MTs.Key Words: Mathematics Learning Device, Approach Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), Research and Development.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve of learning process and to improve the ability of reasoning with implementation of an integrated approach to the scientific learning model problem based learning . The subject of this research is student of class X MIPA-1 SMA Negeri 4 Pekanabru in academic years 2018/2019, which total of 36 students, 13 boys and 23 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and tests of mathematical reasoning abilities. The observation sheet were analyzed by descriptive narrative analysis technique, while the mathematical reasoning ability test were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis techniques. From qualitative analysis, Students are seen to be actively participating and increasingly independent in the learning process carried out. The results of this study indicate an increase in mathematical reasoning ability can be seen from the number of students who achieved the score in criteria good and very good increased from the base score 4 (11.1%) to the test I amounted to 17 people (47.41%) and test II amounted 29 people (80.5%). Thus it can be concluded the application of integrated scientific approach to the problem based learning learning model can improve the learning process and improve the mathematical reasoning abilities of students in class X MIPA-1 Pekanbaru SMA Negeri 4 in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year on the subject matter of rational inequality and irrational and SPLTV.Key Words: Mathematical Reasoning Ability, Scientific, Problem Based Learning Class Action Research

Abstract

The subject of this research is students in VII 8 class of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018, which amounted to 36 students. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive, while the students mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process from before the action to the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning.The results of this research showed the number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria for knowledge increase from the basic score (33,33%) to (44,44%) at the first test and to (77,78%) at the second test. For the skills, the score increase from (58,33%) at the first test, to (80,56%) at the second test. The results of this research showed that appication of PBL can improve learning process and increase mathematics outcomes for students in VII 8 class of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018 for the subject matter Circumference and Area Quadrilaterals Triangles.Keywords : Mathematics Outcomes, Problem Based Learning

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes the fifth grade of mathematics students at Al-Jauhar Mandau by applying the direct instructional model. The subject of the research were students of class V. This research is a class act with two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, the stages are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. To get the results, do analysis data of the teachers and students activitieswith the observation sheets and the analysis data ofmathematicslearning outcomesof studentsfrom the test in every in the end of the cycle. Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to improve mathematics learning outcomes of students with applied the model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of research is student of class VIII-B SMP IT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2017/2018, which amounted to 28 female students. The research consisit of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. At the end of every cycle the quiz will be implemented. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and test of mathematics learning outcomes. The observation sheets were analyzed in narrative descriptive, while test of mathematics learning outcomes were analyzed in statistics descriptive. Narrative descriptive analysis shows that there has been improvement of learning process from before action to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. Learners participate actively in learning process and increasingly independent in solving mathematical problems given. Statistics descriptive analysis shows that students mathematics learning outcomes improve and there has been an improve in the number of students who reach the KKM. The number of students who reached the KKM from the base value to the quiz I improved by 25% and from quiz I to quiz II improved by 21.43%. Results of research indicates that implementation model of Problem Based Learning can improve learning process and improve mathematics outcomes from the students class VIII-B SMP IT Al-Fityah in the second semester academic years 2017/2018.Key Words: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning, Classroom Action Research
