Abstract

This article aims to integrate local wisdom of Mangrove Ecotourism in the learning process in elementary schools to meet the demands of the 2013 curriculum based on local wisdom. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using ethnography. The research sample consisted of 7 informants, with two community leaders, two people from the Youth and Sports Tourism Office and three classroom teachers. This research, using instrument through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study found that local wisdom of Mangrove Ecotourism can be applied in the learning process in grade IV elementary schools and can provide excellent benefits in the development of the developmental aspects of students not only in cognitive aspects but in affective and psychomotor aspects of students. Abstract

Pendidikan yang berkualitas adalah pendidikan yang mampu membekali peserta didik dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di era saat ini. Keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dikuasai adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis dan komunikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa modul tema 5 subtema 2 yang valid untuk kelas V sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE namun hanya sampai tahap pengembangan (Development). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelayakan modul yang telah dikembangkan pada aspek bahasa diperoleh rata-rata 4,48 termasuk kategori sangat layak, aspek media diperoleh rata-rata 4,69 termasuk kategori sangat layak, media aspek diperoleh rata-rata 4, 38 termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak, serta dari aspek praktis praktisi yaitu guru kelas V diperoleh rata-rata 4,59 termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Selain itu hasil keterbacaan modul bagi peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas V sekolah dasar.
