Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and increase the mathematic learning outcomes by implying stuctural approach to cooperative learning think pair square model. Subjects of this research are the students of VII.3 SMP Dwipa Abadi Sungai Guntung Indragiri Hilir in the academic year 2016/2017. Total number of participant are 24 whose academic achievement are heterogen. This research have two cycles, each have four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycles ended by daily examination (UH). The data collected by observation and examination. The data analised by narative descriptive and statistical descriptive. The implementation called success if there’s positive improvement of the learning process and the number of students who reach KKM increase from the basic score to daily examinations (UH I to UH II). The research result from the observation sheets shows that teacher and student activities are improving after the model implemented. More than half students actively participated in the learning process, as in group discussion, presented their works, responded to other group, and sum up the learning conclusion. The number of students whose achieved basic score of KKM, UH  I), and UH  II are 10 students (29,17%), 13 student (54,17%) and 18 student (18 75%). This research shows that implying stuctural approach to cooperative learning think pair square model can improve learning process and increase mathematic learning outcomes for students of VII.3 SMP Dwipa Abadi Sungai Guntung Indragiri Hilir on odd semester of 2016/2017, to the basic competence (2.1) Recognize the algebra and its elements, (2.2) Perform the operation on the algebra, and (2.3 Solve linear equations of one variable.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase learning process and students’ mathachievement at class VIII6 SMPN 20 Pekanbaru through the implentation realisticmathematics education approach in cooperative learning model of STAD. The subjectwere 40 students from class VIII6 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru consist of 17 male and 32female students with the heterogeneus level. This study used classroom action researchThe instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and studentsMathematic tests. The data which collected were analyzed with descriptive analyzedstatistically. From analyzed of teacher and students activity in the learning processshowed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and secondcycle. The result of this research showed an increasing number of students’ mathachievement from the basic score 37.5% to 50% on the first daily test and 62.5% on thesecond daily test. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that theimplentation realistic mathematics education approach in cooperative learning modelof STAD can improve students’ math achievemsent at class VIII6 SMPN 20 Pekanbaruin the second semester academic years 2013/2014.Key Word : Students’ Math Achievement, Realistic Mathematics Education, CooperativeLearning Model of STAD, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: The research was classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and mathematics learning achievement with applied the cooperative learning think pair square structural approach. The subject of the research is students of class X8 SMAN 2 Siak Hulu in the second semester academic years 2013/2014. There are 36 students in the class, consist of 18 girls and 18 boys with heterogeneous academic ability. This research is execieted in two cycles, and at the of every cycle end carried out mathematics achievement test. Data collected through observation and mathematics achievement test. Analysis data of observation was performed with narrative descriptive analysis. This research result in showed an increase in students from the base score with the percentage 30,5 % to 52% on the first test and 69,45% on the second test. This research result in indicates that the Learning Cycle 5E (LC 5E) can improve learning process and students' mathematics learning outcomes math class X8 SMAN 2 Siak Hulu.Key words: Mathematics Achievement, Learning Cycle 5E (LC 5E), Class action research

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes students of class VIII.7 SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu in the first semester academic years 2014/2015 with applied of Cooperative Learning Type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). The research are two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. At the end of each cycle, daily tests are carried out. Data collected through observation and tests in the form of daily tests. Observation is used to collect teacher and student activities during learning process, test is used to collect mathematic outcomes and will given in form daily test. The results show the activity of teachers and students in learning has been in line with the lesson plan. Most of the students have participated actively in the learning process that has been exercised, such as step-by-step learning, presenting student worksheets or question papers, responding a fellow classmate’s presentation, and giving learning conclusions. Results of this research indicate that the application of Cooperative Learning Type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve learning process and improve the mathematics learning outcomes math class VIII.7 SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu in the first semester academic years 2014/2015.Keywords: Learning outcome, Cooperative learning, Student Teams Achievement Division.2

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of STAD Cooperative Learning with the Talking Stick method. The type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in studentof grade VIII2 SMP N 26 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 39 students. The research instrument are consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research are consists of the Syllabus, Lesson plan and Student work sheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is consists of the observation sheet and math test. Technique of data analysis is analysis of narrative descriptive and analysis of statistical descriptive. Based on the result of the research show that, the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes have improved after applying the Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The STAD Cooperative Learning with the Talking Stick method can be used as an alternative in learning, because it can improve the learning process and improve the students learning outcomes.Key Words: STAD Cooperative Learning, Talking Stick method, learning process, students learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract:This reseacrh based on the students math ability class IV SD Negeri 15 Air Jamban under Minimum Mastery Criteria  with a percentage of 42% and the learning process still teacher center. The research was classroom action research. This research aims to outcomes students by implementing cooperative learning model structural approach of Numbered Heads Together. The subject of the research is students of class IV SD Negeri 15 Air Jamban in the second semester academic years 2013/2014. There are 24 students in the class, consisting 13 girls and 11 boys. The instrument of data collection on this research are observation sheets and math achievement tests. The observation sheets are analyze in qualitative descriptive way, while the math achievement tests are analyze in quantitative descriptive way. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action of the first cycle to the second cycle. Then the result of this research showed an increase in students from the base score with the percentage 42% to 56,5 % on the first daily test and 95,8% on the second daily test. From the results of this study concluded that Cooperative Learning model Student Teams Achivement Devision can improve the math achievement of students at class IV SD Negeri 15 Air Jamban in the second semester academic years 2013/2014. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and to increase the mathematic learning evaluation by implying Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative model. Subjects of this research are XI IPA 4 students at MAN 1 Pekanbaru of 2015/2016. Total number of participant are 32 whose academic achievement are heterogen. This research have 2 cycles, each have four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycles closed by daily exam. The data collected by observation and examination at daily based. The data analised by narative descriptive analysis and statistical descriptive analysis. The implementation succes if the improvement of the learning process and the number of students reach KKM increase at daily examination I and daily examination II. The research result from the observation form shows that teacher and student activity are good after the treatment implemented. More than half students actively participated in the learning process, as discuss, presented LAS, responded to presenter group, and gave the learning conclusion. The students also tried to solve the quiz from teacher in a great manner. The number of students whose achieved basic score of KKM, daily examination I (first cycle), and daily examination II (second cycle) are 10 students (31.25%), 20 students (62.5%) and 24 students (75%). This research shows that implying Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative model can improve learning process and increase mathematic learning evaluation for XI IPA 4 Students at MAN 1 Pekanbaru second semester of 2015/2016 to the basic competence (4.1) Using long polynomial division algorithm to determine the quotient and remainder of the division and (4.2) Using the remainder theorem and the factor theorem in solving the problem.Key Words: Mathematic learning evaluation, Two Stay Two Stray, Cooperative model

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students’ math achievement at class VIII2 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 37,5%, there are only 15 students from 40 students who achieve the Basic competence completing mathematical models of the problems associated with systems of linear equations of two variables and their interpretation and then the learning process still teacher center. The research is classroom action research. This research aims to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class VIII2 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru through the implentation cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray. The subject of the research are 24 students from class VIII2 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru consist of 19 male and 21 female students with the heterogenous level. Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is low of mathematics learning outcomes of class X Farmasi of SMK Kesehatan Pro Skill Indonesia are still under the score of minimum mastery criteria with a percentage of 35% on the test about Matriks. This research is a class action research. That has purpose to improve the learning proses and to increase student’s mathematic learning outcomes by applied cooperative learning with Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Subject of this research are 34 students, consist of 5 male and 29 female student with heterogenous. This research consist of two cycles that each cycle composed of 4 stages, such as planning, implementation, observation and reflection. At every end of a cycle, math achievement test will be held. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collector. The learning devices that involve Syllabus, Lesson Plan, and Worksheet. Instrument data collector that involve the observation sheet and math achievement test. Observation sheets is analyzed by narrative descriptive analysis and math achievement test analyzed by statistic descriptive analysis. The action is successful if the learning process covenient with the lesson plan and the number of students who achieve the score of minimum mastery criteria increase in math achievement test I and II. The descriptive narative showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. The learning procces can made the student be active, cooperatife, and responsible. Based on the data analysis, the percentage of students who achieve minimum mastery before the actionis as much as 35% and at first cycleas much as 44% and at second cycleas much as 62%. The result of the research showed that, the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes also increased after applying Cooperative Learning with STAD.Key Word: Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning with STAD, Clasroom Action Research
