Abstract

This study is limited to the investigation of the correlation between students’ learning strategy, and reading comprehensionof the ninth grade students at State Junior High School 01 Buay Rawan, OKU Selatan. There were 85 students who has been selected as the sample of the research. The writer used correlational study and formula to see the correlation between two variable stated. Correlation about Students’ Learning Strategies (X2) and Reading Comprehension (Y) for 0.028. Sig. Value 0.797 was higher than Alpha value 0.05 (0.797 >0,2146), Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected. In other words, there was no a positive correlation between Students’ Learning Strategies (X2) and Reading Comprehension(Y). It can be stated that Students Learning Strategies (X) simultaneously have no significant correlated the reading comprehension(Y).

Abstract

This study attempts to evaluate the performance of certification competence described vocational students through certification institute profesi-p1 program computer engineering expertise and tissues at south sumatra .This study in a qualitative descriptive with those cases .Data collection techniques used in this research was the questionnaire , interview , and use a method of triangulation dokumentasi.teknik data analysis and collect information or data from various sources to check the truth of the data .The results of the study conclude that so it can be seen that the purpose of the vocational school vocational certification in 1 penukal with objectives set the national profession certificates show category in accordance with the percentage of 75 % Sedangkan to state 1 indralaya south objectives set the national profession certificatesshow category in accordance with the percentage of only 72 %..

Abstract

This thesis is concerned with the inquiry on the correlations among self-confidence, learning motivation, and speaking ability of the eleventh grade students of State Vocational High School 1 of Talang Ubi PALI. The problem of this study is to investigate the correlations among self-confidence, learning motivation, and speaking ability. The total number of the population was 226 students. The sample for this study was 34 students taken through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by adopting questionnaire for self-confidence and learning motivation, and a test for speaking ability. Data were analyzed by using r-Product Moment and Multiple Regression. The data analysis shows that = 0.516 with = 0,267 and p-value is 0.008. This value is lower than 0.05. This is significant. So, Ha was accepted while Ho was rejected. Conclusions suggest that there are significant correlations among self-confidence, learning motivation, and speaking ability of the eleventh grade students of State Vocational High School 1 of Talang Ubi PALI.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the correlation among language learning strategies, reading attitude, and reading achievement of the eleventh grade students of State Senior High Schools Lahat District. In this study, 85 students of the eleventh grade were chosen as sample through stratified random sampling. This study applied correlation research design. Questionnaire and test was used to collected the data. They were analyzed by using pearson product moment correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis. The result showed that the sig value of correlation between learning strategies and reading achievement was 0.04 which was higher than 0.05, with 5% contribution of learning strategies. The correlation between reading attitude and reading achievement was 0.000 which lower than 0.05, with 15.8% contribution of reading attitude. The correlation between learning strategies and reading attitude was 0.006 which was lower than 0.05, with 8.7% contributions. The correlation among language learning strategies, reading attitude, and reading achievement was 0.000 which was lower than 0.05, with 17% contributions of learning strategies and reading attitude.

Abstract

This study investigated the correlation among personality types, learning styles and writing ability to the eleventh grade students at Senior High School Number 1 Sekayu. The aims of this study were to measure the correlation between personality types and writing ability, the correlation between learning styles and writing ability, the correlation between personality types and learning styles, and the correlation among personality types, learning styles, and writing ability. In this study, the writer used purposive technique sampling. The data were collected by using questionnaire and test. The data were analyzed by using r-product moment and multiple regressions. The findings of this study are: 1. There was not any significant correlation between personality types and writing ability of the eleventh grade students at Senior High at Senior High School 1 Sekayu. 2. There was not any significant correlation between learning styles and writing ability of the eleventh grade students at Senior High School 1 Sekayu. 3. There was significant correlation between learning styles and writing ability of the eleventh grade students at at Senior High School 1 Sekayu. 4. There were not any significant correlations among personality types, learning styles, and writing ability of the eleventh grade students at Senior High School Number 1 Sekayu. It could be concluded that personality types and learning styles were not correlated significantly with students’ writing ability.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate: (1) the influence of principals’ managerial on the quality of education; (2) the influence of committee participation on the quality of education; and (3) the influence of the principals’ managerial and committee participation simultaneously on the quality of education. The data in this study were collected through distributing questionnaires to respondents. Them they were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis through t test, F test, and determination coefficient test. The population in this study were all teachers at Elementary Schools of Babat Supat District which consisted of 294 teachers. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling with a sample size of 75 people. The results of the study showed that: (1) principals’ managerial individually influences the quality of education at Elementary Schools of Babat Supat District; (2) participation of school committee individually influences the quality of education at Elementary Schools of Babat Supat District; (3) principals’ managerial and school committee participation simultaneously influence the quality of education at Elementary Schools of Babat Supat District.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran berupa permainan papan untuk Pendidikan Seksualitas pada Lembaga Pendidikan Anak dan Remaja untuk peserta didik Sekolah Dasar kelas 1-3. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah SAM 1 (Successive Approximation Model). Model ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu evaluasi (analisis), desain, dan pengembangan yang diulang dalam tiga siklus (iterative). Diakhiri dengan evaluasi (expert review) oleh ahli media, ahli desain pembelajaran, dan ahli materi. Evaluasi yang diterapkan adalah evaluasi formatif menggunakan angket terbuka. Hasil evaluasi yang telah dilakukan membuktikan bahwa papan permainan sudah layak untuk digunakan setelah melalui revisi berulang pada siklus ke-1 dan siklus ke-2. Hasil tinjauan para ahli menyatakan bahwa permainan papan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk pendidikan seksualitas pada lembaga pendidikan anak dan remaja yang juga didukung dari hasil skor yang diraih pada evaluasi formatif dengan nilai 3,4 yang artinya sangat baik. This research and development resulted in a board game as the instructional media for sexuality education in Pendidikan Anak dan Remaja Institution for elementary school students grade 1 until 3. The method used in this developmental research is The SAM 1 (Successive Approximation Model). This model consists of three iterative stages, evaluation (analysis), design, and development. This model ended with formative product evaluation by three experts: instructional media, instructional design, and subject matters experts using an open questionnaire. The evaluation results show that the board game fit the criterion to be used as an instructional media for sexuality education in Pendidikan Anak dan Remaja (DiAR) Institution after several revisions in 1st and 2nd iterative with the score 3,4 which means ‘Excellent’.
