Abstract

Abstarct: This study aims to develop video tutorials for biology practicum activities for high school students, analyze the feasibility of video tutorials for practicum activities, analyze the use of video tutorials for biology practicum activities for high school students. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. This research is carried out until stage 3, which is the development stage. Instruments used for data collection are validation sheets, response questionnaire sheets. The trial was conducted on students of class XI SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The results showed that the video tutorial media for biology practicum activities for high school students was very feasible with an average value of 93.59. The video usability analysis was obtained from the results of the first trial with an average value of 93.75 and the second trial with an average value of 91.01 with a very good category. This shows that the video tutorial developed is very feasible to be used as a learning resource.Key Words: Media, Video Tutorials, Practical Activities.

Abstract

Abstract : Learning presentation media as a tool used to convey learning messages by educators to students. This study aims to develop a Prezi-based presentation media on the human circulatory system material to train critical thinking for class XI high school students. The development of Prezi media was carried out using the ADDIE model until the development stage. on the aspects of media and materials using a validation sheet Prezi-based presentation media obtained an average value of 3.84 with a very valid category. These results show that Prezi-based presentation media on the human circulatory system material developed is very valid with very good quality as a learning medium for class XI high school students The use of Prezi-based presentation media as a learning medium in the material of the human circulatory system class XI SMA can be implemented on a wide scale and can also be redeveloped in the media aspect (software) and in learning materials other biology.Key Words: Prezi media, human circulatory system material, critical thinking

Abstract

Abstract: This development aims to produce a Powtoon-Based Learning Animation Video on Respiration System Material for Class XI SMA. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program FKIP Riau University, SMA Negeri Plus Provinsi Riau and SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru from June to November 2021. The subject of this research was KD 3.4 material for the XI high school respiratory system. The type of research used is the ADDIE Research and Development model. The instruments used are validation and response questionnaires. The validation sheet consists of 4 aspects, namely the display aspect, the program aspect, the pedagogic aspect and the content aspect. The average validation result for animated video based on Powtoon based on these four aspects is 3.79 with a very valid category. The four aspects include display aspects with an average of 3.70, program aspects with an average of 3.85, pedagogic aspects with an average of 3.90 and content aspects with an average of 3.72. The results of the limited trial phase 1 obtained an average score of 3.76 in the very good category. While the results of the limited trial phase 2 obtained an average score of 3.80 in the very good category. The results showed that the animation video based on Powtoon on the respiratory system material for class XI Senior High School is of high quality and suitable to be used as a learning medium.Key Words: Learning Animation Video, Powtoon, Respiratory System.

Abstract

Abstract: This development aims to produce an e-module of biodiversity material based on science literacy for high school students. This research was carried out at the FKIP Biology Education Study Program, Riau University, SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru from November 2021 to April 2022. The instruments used are validation sheets and response questionnaires. The validation sheet consists of 3 aspects, namely aspects of e-module format and graphics, aspects of content feasibility (presentation techniques and science literacy), and aspects of language assessment.. The results of the phase 1 limited trial obtained an average score of 3.82 with an excellent category. Meanwhile, the results of the phase 2 limited trial got an average score of 3.83 with an excellent category. The results of this study show that the e-module of biodiversity material is based on quality science literacy so that it can be used as a learning resource.Key Words: E-module, Science Literacy, Biodiversity

Abstract

Abstract: This study aim to analyze the completeness of the tools and materialsfor the biology laboratory practicum based on the basic competencies of the 2013curriculum in class XI biology subjects. The type of this research is descriptivequantitative research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Thetime of this research is in January-February 2022. The preparation of researchinstrument is carried out at the Study Program of Biology Education, Riau University.Data and data sources were obtained from biology laboratories, teachers andlaboratory assistants. The data collection instrument in the study were in the form ofobservation sheets and interview sheets. Based on the results of data analysis, it isknown that the biological laboratory equipment and materials at SMAN 8 Pekanbarubased on the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 24 of 2007obtained an average of 90.33 % with a very complete category. Meanwhile, thebiological laboratory equipment and materials at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru based on thebasic competencies of the curriculum 2013 obtained an average of 89.25 % with a verycomplete category. So it can be concluded that the tools and materials at SMAN 8Pekanbaru have met the standards that have been set, both in terms of indicators ofeducational equipment or teaching aids, experimental equipment, and consumables.Keywords: Analysis, Tools, Materials, Biology laboratories, Curriculum 2013

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the quality of the animated video learning media on the material of the XI high school class coordination system developed. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. This research was only carried out until stage 3, namely development. The analysis, design, development of internal validation and phase I limited trials were carried out at the Biology Education Faculty of the University of Riau. Meanwhile, for external validation and limited trial phase II, it was conducted at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The research was conducted in January-June 2022. There are two data collection instruments used: validation sheets and respondent questionnaires. The results of the validation of animated videos on the coordination system material for class XI SMA are at an average value of 3.81 with a very valid category. The result of the limited trial score I was 3.79 with a very good category. The result of the limited trial score II was 3.90 in the very good category. Thus, the animation video on the coordination system material for class XI SMA has been successfully developed with very good quality and can be implemented on a wider scale.Key Words: Learning Media, Video Animation, Coordination System
