Abstract

Abstract: Snowball throwing learning is one of cooperative learning models, with emphasis on group learning system. Snowball throwing learning training students to be more responsive to receive a messages from others and convey a message to a friend of the group. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of learning models snowball throwing to improve social subject outcomes in fourth grade students of SDN 50 Bengkalis. Design of this research is the Classroom Action Research which consists of four stages in each cycle, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study was conducted by two cycles. The reflection results in the first cycle showed that the teacher activity has been good and the student activity could be categorized well but there are still some things that need to be improved, likes the involvement of students in the classroom, students activity in the discussion. For the second cycle of teacher activity and students has been increased and has started better than ever. The results of data analysis and discussion of students learning outcomes in the first cycle showed that an increase in individuals where the number of students who completed the basic score as many as seven students with a percentage (35%) and the average value of 68.5 increased in the first cycle to 15 students the percentage (75%) and the average value of 77. in the second cycle increased to 18 students with a percentage (90%) and the average value of 85 so that it can be concluded that the implementation of Snowball Throwing learning models can improve the social subject grade IV SDN 50 Bengkalis.Keywords : Model , Snowball Throwing Learning , Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to boost student learning outcomes. Low student learning outcomes researcher eager to find a solution to solve these problems, one way is to do research by applying the method of cooperative learning Group Investigation (GI). The type of research is classroom action research (PTK), and carried out in two cycles. While the subject of this study is the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 30 Teluk Lancar. Results from this study is the increase in the activity of the teacher, student activities, and student learning outcomes. At the first meeting of the first cycle, the percentage of teachers activity of 58.33% with enough categories, at the second meeting increased to 70.83% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle of 87.50% the percentage of teachers with very good category, and at the second meeting increased to 95.80% with the category very well. At the student activity also increased, namely in the first cycle of the first meeting of the percentage of 62.50% with a good category, and at the second meeting increased to 75% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle percentage of 87.50% with a very good category, and at the second meeting increased to 91.67% with the category very well. On student learning outcomes also increased with an average score of students before action is 65.95, the first cycle increased to 69.75. Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problems in this study is the lack of student learning outcomes, especially in Maths. According to this problem, the researchers have been conducting research to improve student learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning methods make a match. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK), and carried out in two cycles. While the subject of this study is the fourth grade students SDS YKPP Sungai Pakning school year 2015/2016 the number of students 32 people. Results from this study is the increase in the activity of the teacher, student activities, and student learning outcomes. At the first meeting of the first cycle, the percentage of teachers activity of 45.83% with less category, at the second meeting increased to 54.17% with less category. At the first meeting of the second cycle of 70.83% the percentage of teachers with enough categories, and at the second meeting increased further to 87.50% in both categories. At the student activity also increased, namely in the first cycle of the first meeting with a percentage of 50.00% with less category, and at the second meeting increased to 62.50% with less category. At the first meeting of the second cycle percentage is 75.00% with enough categories, and at the second meeting increased to 91.67% with the category very well. On student learning outcomes also increased with an average score of students before action is 63.86, the first cycle increased to 74.52.
