Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to determine the influence of cooperative model somatic auditory visual intellectual type toward the level of students’ formal thinking ability on physics learning at x class of SMA N 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir. The type of this study was quasi experiment with intact group comparison design. The population in this study consisted of 3 classes. 2 classes was chosen as the sample of study based on normality and homogeneity test. They were acted as experiment and control classes the data collection was done by giving formal thinking ability test. The data was analyze by descriptive and inferential analysis. The result showed that there was a significant difference toward students’ formal thinking ability between class experiment which was used cooperative model somatic auditory visual intellectual type and control class which used convention learning. Students’ formal thonking ability at the experimental class was higher than the control class. It can be concludet that the cooperative model somatic auditory visual intellectual type has a positive influence toward students’ formal thinking ability.Key Words: Cooperative Model Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual, Formal Thinking Ability,Temperature And Heat

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of students' scientific attitude between after and before the implementation of cooperative learning model type probing Prompting on the Force material. The subject of this research is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tambang Kampar regency, which consists of 25 students. Data in this research is primary data obtained from prestest and posttest score of student using questionnaire of scientific attitude of student then analyzed descriptively. Questionnaire student's scientific attitude consists of four indicators of curiosity, critical thinking, open thinking and honest. Based on data analysis, the score of attitude of scientific students beginning and end with high category. Then analyzed by using the gain where the students 'attitude of students' scientific attitude gained by 0,36 in the middle category. Thus, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model of Prompting probing type can improve students' scientific attitude toward middle category category.Keywords: Probing Prompting, Student's Scientific Attitude, force

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to find the result of student’s cognitive through the implementation of gas kinetic learning media based on inquiry approach of XI MIA 3 SMAN 4 Pekanbaru.This research form is pre experimental with oneshot case study methode. The data of this study is student’s cognitive score by post test. The analysis conducted on the student’s cognitive learning outcomes in the form of study absorpstion, learning efectivity and the percentage of student’s pass of each tested indicator. The result obtained from this study are, from 36 students, 3 student have a very good study absorption, 23 have a good study absorption, 8 have a well study absorption, 1 have a less good study absorption and 1 fail. The learning efectivity is on good category with percentage of 69,4%. The conclusion is physics learning with inquiry approach goes well.Keywords : Inquiry approach, cognitive study result

Abstract

Abstract : Students science process skills are aspects that must be trained through hands-on practicals. In fact, the lack of adequate practicum facilities in the physics laboratory causes students to rarely do practicums so that students' scientific process skills do not develop. Along with the rapid development of technology, there has been an innovation in the form of a virtual laboratory as an alternative solution for schools that lack practical tools and materials. This study aims to determine the differences in students' science process skills between classes that apply virtual laboratory-based learning assisted by live worksheets and classes that apply conventional learning. The type of research used is Quasi-Experiment with Post-test Only design, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The data collection instrument was in the form of post-test questions (scientific process skills test). Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the students' science process skills in the experimental class were higher than the control class. This was shown in the experimental class, the percentage of students' average KPS scores reached 78.76% and the control class 66.59%. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that students' science process skills between classes with virtual laboratory-based learning assisted by live worksheets are better than classes with conventional learning on optical instrument material in class XI SMAN 16 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Optical Instrument, Science Process Skills, Virtual Laboratory, Liveworksheets
