Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research’s title is Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency. The research’s problems are (1) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in delivering implicit message, (2) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in building imagination, (3) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in using figurative language, (4) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in using connotation language, (5) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in using figure of a language. The method is descriptive. The data collection technique in this research is used test technical. The population is 184 students and the sample of this research is 46 students by random. To analyze this research used average formulation by using criteria in reaching competence. The analysis the research’s data is done to (1) 46 essays Suggestive Narration implicit message, (2) 40 essays Suggestive Narration in imagination’s aspect, (3) 8 essays Suggestive Narration figurative language, (4) 4 essays Suggestive Narration connotation aspect, and (5) 9 essays Suggestive Narration  figure of a language. This research was identification that (1) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in delivering implicit message is high category, (2) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in building imaginations is high category, (3) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in using figurative language is low category, (4) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill in using connotation language is low category, (5) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill in using figure of a language is low category.Keywords         : Skill, Writing,  Suggestive Narration

Abstract

Abstract : In daily life, people always use their thinking power to solve the problems they face. The problem is solved with positive thinking. Therefore, the researcher feels the need to develop a material about Positive Thinking Ability of Student are expected to be used by guidance and counselling teachers to be taught to their students. This material is prepared using research and development (R & D) method. The purpose of this study is 1) The creation of material Positive Thinking Skills Stident viewed from clarity, systematics, images supported, upgrades, completeeness of material, and video/games. 2) To know the quality of material produced. This material is validated by leacturers 1 & 2, counselling teachers and 35 students of State Junior High School 13 Pekanbaru. This material is tested to students with allocation tie 3 hours lesson (4 x 40’). This material consists of understanding and Positive Thinking Theory, The Benefit of Positive Thinking, The Reality of Positive Thinking, How to Grow Positive Thoughts, How to Get Someone Applying the Concept of Positive Thinking in Life, and How to Grow positive Thinking Ability. The results of this material development show that the quality of the material produced is in the “Good” category, with a score of 4,08 for all aspects of the assessment.Keyword : Material Development, Ability, Positive Thinking

Abstract

This study aims to increase student motivation in Islamic education and character in class XI IPAA. the type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted in 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 24 students of class XI IPAA. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the cooperative learning strategy type make a match assisted by power point media can increase student motivation. In the pre-cycle activity, the average result of student learning motivation observation was 42.40%. This is certainly not said that student motivation is high, because the indicator of student learning motivation is said to be high / good if it reaches 75%. After applying the cooperative learning strategy type make a match assisted by power point media, the students' learning motivation has increased. In the third cycle student learning motivation has reached the indicator 75% overall.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the duties of a sous chef in the food and beverage department at the Labersa Toba Hotel and Convention Centre Balige. Sous chef plays a major role in operational responsibility in the kitchen, especially in food processing, which is one of the income of most hotels. Professional food processing cannot be separated from the ability and expertise of a cook. In a large kitchen there are several staff who are responsible for several parts. The sous chef in the kitchen has carried out his duties competently in terms of planning, actuating and controlling. This study uses qualitative research methods and obtain data, the authors use interview, observation and documentation techniques. From the results of the research that the aouthors conducted 4 months, it was found that the implementation of the sous chef duties at the Labersa Toba Hotel and Convention Centre Balige had gone well according to standard operating procedures. But naturally there must be obstacles faced by the sous chef during the implementation of the task. Keyword : Task Implementation, Sous Chef, Kitchen
