Abstract

Abstract : The background of this research is the lack of creativity of teachers in using media in the learning process. While the learning media used affects student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of Powtoon-based learning media on natural science learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were 34 grade 3 elementary school students in Pekanbaru. the instruments used as data in this study were tests o student learning outcomes during the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest). Hypothesis testing is done using SPSS Ver 24 and a significance value of 0,000 is obtained, then Sig.(2 tailed) < 0,05 because 0,000 < 0,05. This shows that there is a significant effect of science learning outcomes in grade III student of SD Negeri 131 Pekanbaru between before (pretest) and after being given treatment (posttest) using Powtoon-based learning media.Key Words : Powtoon-Based Learning Media, Learning Outcomes
