Abstract

ABSTRACT  Lesson Plan (RPP) is essentially a short-term plan for estimating or projecting what will be done in learning process. However, those found in the field that the teacher lesson plan created by the lack of in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. For the analysis of the RPP semester II of eleventh grade biology teacher at SMAN Pariaman using RPP assessment instruments that have been developed from the IPKG-1. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the lesson plan created by the teacher in class XI of semester II SMAN in Pariaman is in conformity with the standards IPKG-1 which has been developed. This research is a descriptive study. Sampling technique in this study was stratified random sampling method is random based strata. Samples taken are 4 schools and one teacher of biology class XI of SMAN sampled. Sampling technique teacher is simple random sampling. The  sampled  schools  were  SMAN  1,  2,  3  and  4  Pariaman.  Analytical  results  for  the percentage of RPP assessment instrument for Pariaman is enough standard with a value percentage 63,  3%  while the results  of the  analysis  for completeness  percentage is  less standard components of RPP with percentage value of existing components is 55, 75% and the another percentage of components is not that is 44, 25%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In science education laboratory activities in one of the important activities junior high school, so the implementation of laboratory activities is expected to run well. The various of efforts is repaired to improve skill of teachers through the upgrade and the MGMP activities, this examination to aims to find out difficulties wich is faced by the teachers of science, implementation and result of laboratory in the junior high school Tigo Nagari Pasaman. This research is descriptive the samples in this research were the teachers of science integrated all of distract Tigo Nagari who has done laboratory activities that amounted 10 people (total of sampling). A survey was spreaded to the teachers of science at junior high school in all of distract Tigo Nagari before that it was tested to the teachers of science at 1 Simpati junior high school that ammounted 4 people. The data was processed through descriptive analysis by using a percentase formula. Based on data analysis was found 80,30% about the teachers difficulties in laboratory activities with high category,its mean that the teachers of science at junior high school Tigo Nagari were not realize difficultyes in laboratory activities.

Abstract

ABSTRACTLeaf lectuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is one of the plant have high nutricion, especially mineral to accelerate absorption to decease fever. The research aim to know the effect of paddy straw bokashi fertilizer on growth and yield of leaf lectuce in pollybag. This research was conducted in farmer field in Kayu Tanduk village, X Koto district, Tanah Datar regency from May 2013 until August in 2013. The research was design of this research was a experimental research, with Randomized Completely Design (RCD), with 6 treatment and 5 repitition. Each treatment A control (300 gr manure), B 100gr of paddy straw bokashi/pollybag, C 150 gr /pollybag, D 200 gr/pollybag, E 250 gr/pollybag, F 300 gr/pollybag. To analyze the date, used ANOVA and BNT 5% standard. The result of this research, shows that the paddy straw bokashi fertilizer input have significant effect on fresh weight of plant. But not significantly for quantity of leaf in 5% standard. The researcher conclude that straw was given with 150 gr/pollybag doce forward leaf lectuces saw increasing growth and result.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Education is one of the efforts in the learning process and the learning process , in order to achieve the process there are teacher educators . Teacher in charge of educating , teaching , guiding , directing , training , assessing , and evaluating . In addition , teachers are also expected to design a lesson plan (RPP). High school teacher in Padang Panjang city made lesson plan together in MGMP. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning implementation  plan  (RPP)  in  Senior  High  School  in  the  city  of  Padang  Panjang  .This research is a descriptive study by collecting RPP SMAN biology teacher in Padang Panjang and analyze questionnaire based IPKG. Samples were taken in total sampling. Based on the research results obtained on the completeness of the components of plan ( RPP ) is 61 % and that there is no 39 % , while the implementation of learning outcomes assessment plan ( RPP ) is 80.7 % . With the results of the analysis showed that RPP grade biology teacher at SMAN Padang Panjang city is a standard for use in the learning process.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that learners can actively develop her potential. To achieve that all teachers ar e expected to design a lesson plan (RPP) in accordance with the standards of Teacher Performance Assessment Instrument (IPKG). In this case the teachers of biology in the city of Solok generally there are those who do not understand the reference in designing and making lesson plans. In designing the lesson plan there are teachers who take reference from the internet and copying existing RPP without looking at the characteristics of the material that students will be taught appropriate or not so as a result of the learning process is not maximized. The purpose of this study is to investigate the standardization of Lesson Plan (RPP) in SMA Solok. This research is a descriptive study, the sampling technique is the total sampling by collecting RPP State high sc hool biology  teacher  in  Solok  and  analyze  lesson  plans  based  on  a  questionnaire  that  has  been developed by Mulyati ,et al (2013). From this study showed that in terms of the completeness of components obtained an average RPP for completeness existing RPP component is 66.75% and33.25% no. Based on the analysis results, we can conclude that the RPP in Solok Standard Self categorized by the percentage of 68.89%

Abstract

 In teaching and learning process requires a learning media to   achieve the learning objectives. The forms of learning media that are used was teaching materials. In MTsN Talaok Bayang district , the teachers Only use photocopied of worksheet, , therefore the writer wants to develope it in handout.Irregular writen are made consistent by using thesame font and size, colorful pictures that are suitable with its original, then its position is irregular and completed  with pages and evaluation thats is matched to learning objektives. The aims of this research is to know the validity and practicalities of illustrated hndout with concept maps. This research is the development of  the use of 4-D. The subject of this research consist of 5 validators on the validity of the texts, meanwhile on the practicalities test consists of 2 teacher   and 20 student. The result of validity test ilustrated handout with concept by validator shows that illustrated handout on the valid criteria is 82,69%. The result of practicalities test is 87,24% in a very practical criteria. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that illustrted with concept map in classification of creatures material that produced meets the valid and practical.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran dan mengkaji keefektifan CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini dengan desain penelitian research and development dengan tahapan identifikasi masalah dan potensi, perencanaan, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi produk I, uji coba skal kecil, revisi produk II, uji coba produk skala besar, revisi produk II, sehingga dihasilkan produk final. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X6 SMA N 1 Gondang. Data penelitian berupa kelayakan dan keefektifan CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di SMA N 1 Gondang. Data dianalisis dengan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri oleh  para ahli media, ahli materi dan bahasa  rata-rata 88% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan 100% tuntas dan diuji dengan N-gain dengan persentase 40% kategori sedang serta mempunyai tingkat kepedulian terhadap lingkungan 86% kategori sangat peduli lingkungan. Berdasarkan penelitian disimpulkan bahwa CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri layak dikembangkan dan efektif diterapkan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di SMA N 1 Gondang. This study aims to determine the feasibility of interactive learning CD based inquiry learning and reviewing the effectiveness of the CD based interactive learning material inquiry environmental pollution This research used the Research and Development design that consist of problem identification, planning, product design, design validation, product revision I, preliminary field testing, product revision II, main field testing, product revision II, and produce the final product. The subject of this research is student of grade X6 State Senior High School 1 Gondang. The data include the properness and effectiveness inquirybased interactive learning CD applied to environmental pollution concept in State Senior High School 1 Gondang. The data was analyzed by descriptive percentage. The result showed that the inquiry based interactive learning CD by the expert of media, concept, and language is about 88%, has the “very proper” criteria. The result of the student achievement showed that 100% student are “competent” and the N-gain showed 40% included to “medium” category, while the environment care data showed that 86% students care about the environment so it included to the ”very care” criteria. Based on the result of the research, can be concluded that the inquirybased interactive learning CD is properly developed and effective to be applied in environmental pollution concept in State Senior High School N 1 Gondang.

Abstract

Anatomi Tumbuhan merupakan kelompok mata kuliah keilmuan dan keterampilan (MKK , dimana pada mata kuliah ini membahas tentang sel, jaringan dan organ penyusun tumbuhan tingkat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan pada materi anatomi tumbuhan, hampir semua materi sulit dipahami mahasiswa karena  mata kuliah ini meliputi struktur dalam yang tidak bisa diamati secara langsung dan juga tidak bisa divisualisasikan secara utuh karena keterbatasan media pembelajaran. Hal ini mengkibatkan sebagian besar mahasiswa menganggap materi tersebut abstrak dan sulit untuk mengkonstruk pengetahuannya walaupun sudah menggunakan OHP atau slide proyektor. Masing-masing media pembelajaran memiliki keunggulan dan kelemahan yang memerlukan kombinasi berbagai media agar kelemahannya dapat diminimalkan. Mengacu pada Standar Kompetensi Pendidik baik akademik maupun pedagogik maka media pembelajaran dicoba untuk dikembangkan yang mana diharapkan dapat membantu membina calon pendidik biologi professional khususnya di bidang anatomi tumbuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran compact disc interaktif berorentasi konstruktivisme pada mata kuliah anatomi tumbuhan yang valid. Hasil Validasi menunjukkan bahwa CD interaktif berorientasi konstruktivisme sangat valid, dengan Rerata validasi 3,63. Anatomy Plant is a group of knowledge subject and skill (MKK, which on this lecture discusses the cells, tissues and organs arranging higher plants. Based on the results of interviews conducted on the material of plant anatomy, most of the materials are difficult to understand by students because this material includes anatomy structure in which can’t be directly observed, and also can’t be visualized as a whole because of the limitation of learning media. This causes most of students consider that such material is abstract and difficult to  construct the knowledge although using overhead or slide projector. Each of learning media has advantages and disadvantages that require a combination of different media to make weaknesses minimal. Referring to the Competency Standards of Educator both academic and pedagogic so that learning media is tried to develop which hopely can help to foster candidate of proffessional biology educator especially in plant anatomy field. The purpose of this study is to produce a learning media of interactive compact disc (CD)-constructivism oriented on plant anatomy that is valid. Validation results show that interactive CD- constructivism oriented is very valid, with a mean of validation 3,63.

Abstract

In the development of this fast growing age, learning science is very important because in essence IPA is a product of the process and its implementation (technology), including the attitudes and values contained therein. Many people argue that mastering science is very important, because in science learning students are given the opportunity and provision for processing IPA and apply it in everyday life by the way - the right way and follow the ethics of science and ethics in society. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of media images in improving the understanding of human respiratory organs learning materials in class V SDN 5 Sumberejo the 2nd half.The method used is a Classroom Action Research by using two cycles. While the subjects were students in grade 5. Data was collected with the scale of observation / observation and data analysis techniques performed by cycle analysis.Obtaining results of this study are pre-cycle value that is equal to 25.9%. This is due to not using media images. Nilau acquisition of the first cycle, which amounted to 59.26%. This is already using media images using varied methods. Cycle II acquisition value, amounting to 96.3%. This is already given the material by using media images. Based on the acquisition value is always increasing, we can conclude that the use of media images can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tiga kemampuan dalam IPA yaitu: 1) Kemampuan mengetahui yang diamati; 2) kemampuan memprediksi apa yang belum diamati dan kemampuan untuk menguji tindak lanjut dari hasil eksperimen dan; 3) dikembangkannya sikap ilmiah. Pada awalnya, pembelajaran kurang berkualitas, dimana guru belum menggunakan model pembelajaran inovatif serta belum menggunakan media pembelajaran. Siswa kurang antusias terhadap pembelajaran IPA karena mereka memahami konsep hanya dari membaca sehingga berdampak terhadap hasil belajar siswa rendah, yaitu dari 30 siswa hanya 14 siswa (46%) yang mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM yaitu 72. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dilakukan sebuah tindakan yaitu dengan menerapkan model TGT dengan media audiovisual. Rumusan masalah: apakah model TGT dengan media Audiovisual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan guru dalam mengajar pada siklus I memperoleh skor 37 yang masuk dalam kategori baik (B), pada siklus II memperoleh skor 48 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik (SB), dan terjadi peningkatan lagi pada siklus II dengan mendapatkan skor 47 yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik (SB). Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh skor 16 yang masuk dalam kategori baik (B), kemudian meningkat pada siklus I pertemuan 2 memperoleh skor 20 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik (B), dan terjadi peningkatan lagi pada siklus II dengan mendapatkan skor 24 yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik (SB). Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa, siklus I pertemuan 1, diperoleh persentase ketuntasan 69%, pada siklus I pertemuan 2 diperoleh 72 %, dan pada siklus II diperoleh 90%.
