Abstract

KM Cakalang merupakan kapal Fery Ro – Ro milik Dinas Perhubungan Pemerintah Provinsi Maluku, memiliki spesifikasi ukuran kamar mesin 10 x 12 m2 dan memiliki beberapa peralatan sebagai sumber tenaga yang dapat menghasilkan panas, salah satunya adalah main engine, yang memiliki peluang untuk merubah suhu kamar mesin secara linear. Sebagai sistim exhauster untuk pengkondisian udara pada kamar mesin tersebut, KM Cakalang menggunakan 2 buah fan type reversible and axial flow dengan daya masing – masing sebesar 2.2 KW dengan sistim starter manual (hand start). Untuk dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja sistim exhauster ini secara otomatis berdasarkan tingkat perubahan suhu, maka sensor thermal dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi tingkat perubahan suhu dengan led digunakan sebagai indikator serta komputer digunakan sebagai sistim visualisasi serta relay dapat digunakan sebagai pengendali switch sistim exhauster berdasarkan aksi pengontrolan terhadap batas suhu yang diijinkan (max 350C). Visualisasi komputer terhadap aksi pengontrolan suhu udara pada kamar mesin, dapat dihubungkan melalui melalui tegangan keluaran pembanding (op amp) atau melalui blok indikator pada masing – masing led yang dirangkai secara parallel dengan Parallel Port komputer. Untuk dapat membaca kerja sistim pengaturan suhu kamar mesin pada sistim komputer, maka digunakan pemograman Delphi 6.0 berbasis windows, sebagai interfacing antara user dengan computer, dimana program yang dibuat digunakan untuk membaca perubahan temperature suhu ruangan berdasarkan siklus waktu dan membaca perubahan temperature yang disimulasikan dalam bentuk bargraph dan graphline.

Abstract

In the traditional education system, interaction between teachers and learners occurs when both parties meet face to face, in which the information and teaching materials are transferred and distributed. A web based teaching systems is an alternative to supplement or even to substitute the teaching and learning elements of the traditional one. The article has an objectives to make a learning model and systems of web bases multimedia. The implementation is in the form of the system prototype of the system designed. The formulation of problem is to make an attractive teaching material and the model analysis of learning system that can be used to support the learning activity. The problem restriction of system designing is carried out based on the learning method, prototype structuring, testing as well as object of only seaweed cultivation. Methodology of problem defining, a study of teachers need, supporting system and system designing for building the application of learning system by using the multimedia. Implementation of information system made is in the form of client system. Server is built by using the system of windows operation for the web server is used IIS (Internet Information Server) web server, whereas database server is used MySQL. Server side scripting is used PHP for supporting the database accessing from the web server. The testing of learning information system prototype of seaweed cultivation by web based multimedia provides a result suitable to the designed.

Abstract

Library has some aims in order to increase the management and services of library. One of the aim is that providing some information source and utilizing information technology. Library, which has its own information system, will be more easier in managing and library servicing. The methodology is done in three steps. At the preparing step was collecting the data through literature study and benchmarking of some typical library. In the analysis step was analyzed one for an existing system and also the new library system to be built. The analysis was including the organization preparedness using the library job description, analysis for digital library development principal using ten development principal of digital library, analysis for three main library activities which is directly connected to the system, analysis for database system using data integrated approach with database management system (DBMS), and analysis for an actors. The design for digital library system was used unified modelling language (UML). The test of Analysis and Design system was used CRC Model. The digital library to be designed in more ideal for facing the demography and the needs. Another aspect to be consider in converting the source in the digital form is the copyright and the network security system.

Abstract

Networking embeded sensor is a nodes system with sensing, actuating, computation, communication, and storage resources facilities designed to yield a lower exploitation cost and a reliable tollerance fault technique. Problem is how to design this a backup fault tolerance of this sensor where every kind of resource can be replaced by others. At the beginning we propose a singgle spectrum which more wide than heterogeneous tollerance fault technique for networking sensor that consist of comuication and sensing and can support one another. After that, we shift to two specific approaches which one kind of sensor can back-up others. We assume the errors resulted from malfunction and high-level fault, and each technique has a different efficiency algorithm and effectivity.
