Abstract

AbstrakTelah dilakukan penelitian tentang pembuatan bioplastik dari kitosan dan pati labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata) dengan minyak jarak (Castor oil) sebagai pemlastis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pengaruh komposisi kitosan dan pati labu terhadap ketahanan dalam pelarut, kuat tarik dan biodegradabel. Penelitian diawali dengan pembuatan bioplastik dengan cara mencampurkan pati labu kuning, kitosan dan minyak jarak. Selanjutnya diuji ketahanan terhadap pelarut, uji kuat tarik dan  uji biodegradabel. Hasil karakterisasi bioplastik terhadap uji ketahanan dalam pelarut yang optimum diperoleh pada komposisi pati labu kuning/kitosan (%) 50/50 dalam pelarut H2O dan C2H5OH, serta komposisi 60/40 dalam pelarut HCl dan NaOH. Karakterisasi terhadap uji kuat tarik optimum diperoleh pada komposisi 40/60 yaitu 6,787 ±0,274 Mpa dan proses uji biodegradasi tercepat dalam jangka waktu 5-10 hari terjadi pada komposisi 50/50. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah uji ketahanan terhadap pelarut H2O dan C2H5OH  dipengaruhi oleh komposisi kitosan dan ketahanan terhadap pelarut HCl dan NaOH  dipengaruhi oleh komposisi pati. Semakin banyak komposisi kitosan maka semakin bagus nilai uji kuat tarik yang diperoleh, sedangkan daya biodegradasi paling cepat terjadi pada komposisi pati labu kuning dan kitosan yang seimbang yaitu 50:50.Kata Kunci: Bioplastik, kitosan, pati labu kuning, minyak jarak AbstractResearch has been conducted on the making of bioplastic from chitosan and yellow pumpkin starch (Cucurbita moschata) with the castor oil as a plasticizers. The purpose of this research is to know the influence characteristic of chitosan and pumpkin starch composition on resistance is solvent, tensile strength and biodegradable. Research begins with the manufacture of bioplastic by mixing yellow pumpkin, chitosan and castor oil further tested resistance to solvent, tensile strenght test and biodegradable test. The result of bioplastic characterization of the endurance test in the optimum solvent were found in the compisition of yellow pumpkin strach/chitosan(%) 50/50 in the solvent H2O & C2H5OH and the 60/40 in the HCl and NaOH solvent. The caracterization of the optimum tensile strenght test was obtained on the 40/60 composition of 6,787 ±0,274 Mpa and the fastest biodegradable test process within 5-10 days occured at the composition 50/50. The condusion of this research is the resistance test to solvent H2O and C2H5OH is influenced by the chitosan composition and resistance to HCl and NaOH solvent influenced by starch composition. The more composition of chitosan, the better value of tensile strength test obtained. While the fastest biodegradation occured in the composition of yellow pumpkin strach and chitosan balanced i.e 50:50.Keywords: Bioplastic, chitosan, yellow pumpkin, castor oil

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan performa Gas Analyzer Kiln Inlet dengan melakukan modifikasi pada purging dan air compressor. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu industry semen Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini pengkajian dibatasi hanya berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan semen yang terjadi di rotary kiln. Salah satu alat yang digunakan sebagai pengambilan data parameter dari pengoperasian kiln yang berfungsi mengukur gas pada rotary kiln adalah gas analyzer. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada industri semen tersebut adalah tidak optimalnya performa sampling gas analyzer yang terletak pada rotary kiln inlet. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan melakukan modifikasi pada purging. Sebelum melakukan modifikasi plant air pada pabrik semen mempunyai kapasitas pendistribusian angin bertekanan sebesar 4,2 bar, sedangkan standar kapasitas yang ditetapkan tidak boleh kurang dari 6 Bar. Dengan kapasitas hanya 4,2 bar pembersihan probe tidak optimal yang mengakibatkan menumpuknya debu pada probe dan tingginya frekuensi purging. Untuk meningkatkan kapasitas purging menjadi 6 bar, dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan portable air compressor. Adapun hasil modifikasi dalam penelitian ini parameter uji untuk menentukan keberhasilan modifikasi yaitu menurunnya frekuensi purging dan berkurangnya debu pada filter probe dan sampling line tidak terjadi block.

Abstract

Soil fertility absolute attention in order to get maximum results. Efforts to improve soil fertility them with chemical fertilizer, manure and agricultural waste utilization. Some chemical properties that may be indicators of soil fertility such as N-available, K-available and P-available. This study aims to look at the effect of biochar and chicken manure on the total-N, available P and K-are available. The method used in this research is experimental randomized block design (RAK) arranged as factorial, consisting of two treatment factors and repeated three times. The first factor is the provision of biochar (B) consisting of B0: control, B1: 0.25 tonnes / ha equivalent to 0.25 kg / m2, B2 5 ton / ha equivalent to 0.5 kg / m2 and B3: 10 ton / ha biochar is equivalent to 1 kg / m2. The second factor is the provision of chicken manure chicken (K) consists of four levels ie K0: Control, K1: 2.5 tons / ha is equivalent to 0.25 kg / m2, K2: 5 tonnes / ha equivalent to 0.5 kg / m2, and K3: 10 ton / ha equivalent to 1 kg / m2. In this study, there are 16 combinations of treatments, each treatment was repeated 3 times in order to get 48 units experimental observations summarized as follows: dose biochar significant effect on K- provided and no significant effect on N-total and P-available. Treatment of chicken manure is very significant effect on P-available and no real effect on total-N and K-are available.

Palembang: Unsri Press. Biofortification of Amaranthus sp and Ipomea Reptan Poir with iodine is one of the alternative strategies for the enrichment of iodine in vegetable plants. The leafy green vegetables are categorized as horticultural crops, these are easy to cultivate, cheap and affordable for people in rural areas. The aim of this research was to increase iodine concentration in the leaves of Kangkung (Ipomea reptan poir) and spinach (Amaranthus sp) grown in hydroponic culture and evaluate its effect on plant growth. The experiment was conducted from November 2018 to February 2019 at the Hydroponic Shade House, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University.The design method used for this research was Completely Randomized Design (CDR) with 4 treatment of Iodine concentration in culture  solution and 4 replications. The treatments were: T0 = 0 ppm, T1 = 25 ppm KI, T2 = 50 ppm KI and T3 = 75 ppm KI, which comprises of 16 experimental units. Each unit of experiment consisted  of a container filled with 6 liters of A&B mix culture solution and    6 plants, i.e. 3 kangkung and 3 spinach were planted. Based on the results, it showed that the analysis of variance for plant height, leaves number, and chlorophyll content were not significantly different for both kangkung and spinach. While the ANOVA for fresh weight of kangkung leaves and stalks were highly significant, and the dry weight of kangkung leaves was significant. The   iodine in leaves   of kangkung (Ipomea reptan poir)   increased with the increasing the amount of iodine concentration supplementation in culture solution. The iodine content in leaves of T1 plant (25ppm) was between the range of 7-15ppm, for T2 plant (50ppm) while  in T3 plant (75 ppm) the iodine content in leaves was between the range of 20-27 ppm. Spinach plant  (Amaranthus sp) grow well only until the Iodine concentration,  treatment of 25 ppm (T1), and the iodine content in leaves reached the range of 7-15ppm. At   the  treatment of 50 ppm KI (T2)  and 75 ppm (T3)  leaves of spinach plants showed  heavy necrosis   as a symptom of  high iodine toxicity, and  plants was dry and died at three weeks after the  Iodine treatment.  In general, it is concluded that  biofortification of Iodine in the leafy green vegetables by applying hydroponic culture is possible.The highest concentration supplementation of Iodine in culture solution  for Iodine biofortification in  Spinach plant  (Amaranthus sp)  was  25 ppm, while for   kangkung (Ipomea reptan poir)  was  50 - 75ppm.Keywords: biofortification, iodine supplementation, hydroponic culture. kangkung, spinach

Abstract

Indonesia terletak di pusat keanekaragaman terumbu karang dunia. Keanekaragaman hayati ini menekankan pentingnya Indonesia dalam upaya global untuk melestarikan sumber daya laut. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji struktur komunitas karang dan kompoisis ikan terumbu yang terdapat pada dua lokasi yang berbeda di dua titik di perairan Sabang, meliputi Pulau Rubiah dan Iboih sebagai perwakilan dari perairan Sabang bagian Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2019. Metode LIT digunakan dalam penelitian ini (Line Intercept Transect) dengan panjang transek 100m. Analisis data karang meliputi persen penutupan karangdan kelimpahan ikan karang dan indeks  Keanekaragamannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase tutupan karang di lokasi Pulau Rubiah dan perairan Iboih sebesar 27,76±5,30% dan 26,12±5,85% yang termasuk kedalam kondisi sedang. Dilokasi pertama karang didominasi oleh genus Acropora (16,74%) sedangkan pada lokasi kedua Heliopora (18,45). Komposisi ikan pada lokasi pertama dan kedua didominasi oleh Acanthuridae danPomacentridae dengan persentase yang berbeda pada setiap lokasi. Indeks keanekaragaman pada dua lokasi berada pada kriteria sedang yaitu 2,862 (Pulau Rubiah) dan 2,816 (Iboih).

Abstract

Probiotics application in aquaculture sector has been promoted since the government has banned antibiotics application in aquaculture sector. Probiotics are very useful in aquaculture because it can accelerate fish growth, improve fish health, and maintain water quality in good condition. However, there are many fish farmers who do not know the advantages, manufacturing techniques and the application of probiotics to support aquaculture activities. Therefore, we have conducted this community service for fish farmers in Meunasah Sukon Village, Lembah Sabil District, Southwest Aceh Regency. This community service is carried out through counseling by describing the benefits of probiotics, followed by discussions with participants and probiotics practice using natural ingredients that are easily available. The result showed that the level of understanding and knowledge of fish farmers in this village about the benefits of probiotics, how to manufacture and its application were increases after this community service was conducted. The activities of enhancement fish farmer capacities are needed to improve their abilities about information on aquaculture renewable technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efisiensi teknis pemakaian input (nilai investasi, nilai bahan baku dan biaya tenaga kerja) terhadap output (nilai produksi) dari industri perabot di kecamatan Jeumpa Kabupaten Bireuen. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 53 unit industri yang merupakan keseluruhan unit industry perabot di Kecamatan Jeumpa Kabupaten Bireuen. Adapun metode analisis data menggunakan alat analisis Data Envelopment Analisis (DEA) dengan pendekatan VRS. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hanya 30 unit industri perabot di Kecamatan Jeumpa yang telah efisien dalam penggunaan input sedangkan 23 unit industri lainnya belum mampu mencapai efisiensi pemakaian input. Kata kunci: nilai produksi, biaya investasi, biaya bahan baku, biaya tenaga kerja, DEA.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of awareness on the intention to choose Islamic banking products with media communication as a moderator variable at BNI Syariah Lhokseumawe City. The location and area of research in this study to obtain primary data are in Lhokseumawe City. The population in this study is the people of Lhokseumawe city who have been customers of BNI Syariah for at least the last 3 years. The number of samples used for the study were 150 customers and were taken using an accidental technique approach. The results showed Awereness (Awareness) has a significant effect on customer intentions. Meanwhile, the findings show that media communication moderates the influence of awareness on customer intentions. Media communication in the traditional category has a greater impact than the media communication in the internet / digital category. Keywords: Awereness, Media Communication, Intention.

Abstract

This service will provide an overview of entrepreneurship of small and medium enterprises using digital technology. From all points of view, be it motivation, business opportunities or ideas, as well as business rules according to sharia. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, it is very demanding for young people who already have business plans to adopt digital business tools more quickly to survive and develop in the new normal era. Therefore, prospective young entrepreneurs have great potential to be prepared to become excellent entrepreneurs, who will not only be economically independent, but will also develop regional economic potential which in turn will have a positive impact on the national economy. The purpose of this service is to overcome the problem of unemployment by the younger generation. The solutions we provide are in the form of training and providing motivation to develop and provide basic techniques for doing digital business, and do not forget to provide understanding to aspiring young entrepreneurs about doing business in an Islamic way as a form of development of the nation's.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leaf fertilizer on three nutrient efficient corn genotypes in tidal land. This research was coducted  in Village Mulia sari, Sub-district Tanjung Lago, District Banyuasin, South Sumatra in the noble village of Sari Tanjung Lago sub-district from August to December 2017. This study uses the Split Plot Design consisting of 3 factors, namely the first factor of genotype, the second factor is the dose of urea A0 = 0 kg, A1 = 250 kg, A2 = 300 kg and the third factor of leaf fertilizer consists of: P0 = (control without spraying), P1 = 30 days of spray, P2 = 45 days of spray, P3 = 30 + 45 days of spray, P4 = 60 days of spray, P5 = 75 days of spray, P6 = 60 + 75 days of spray. repeated three times. Observation results used of 300 kg of urea fertilizer and leaf fertilizer had a good influence on the growth of G3 corn genotypes and the production of corn plants in tidal land. The combination of giving 300 kg of urea fertilizer + leaf fertilizer gives a pretty good influence on the growth of G3 corn genotypes with a production of 7.44 Ton/hectares
