Abstract

This paper describes how the jihad books translated from Arabic potentially strengthen radicalism in Indonesia. In fact, the jihad books are written and translated by the jihadists themselves as their reference for acting global jihad. These books are disseminated by their publisher or posted in their website. Most of these jihadists website provide information, articles and eBooks that can be downloaded for free. Most of these books discuss about the meaning, law, financing, strategy and targets of jihad. There are a number of concepts that potentially affect the readers toward an attitude of radicalism. These concepts are jihad is war, suicide bombing is part of jihad, and the thoghut government is a target of their jihad. These translated books also potentially affect the growth of a radical and intolerant attitude in educational institutions, because it can creep through the mentoring activities of the Islamic religion in College, Rohani Islam (Rohis) in SMA/SMK, friendship networks and hidden agendas of the institutions manager who opposed the ideology of the State. Therefore, to minimize the negative impact of the these translated books, the concept of soft jihad is need to be introduced and promoted.تبين هذه المقالة عن إحتمال كتب الجهاد المترجمة من العربية فى تعزيز التطرف الدينى في إندونيسيا. وفي الواقع، أنّ الكاتبين والمترجمين لهذه الكتب هم الجهاديون أنفسهم ليجعلونها مصادر فى عمليتهم الجهادية العالمية. وتنشرهذه الكتب مطبعة او منشورة فى مواقعهم على الإنترنت. وتوفر معظم هذه المواقع المعلومات والمقالات والكتب الإلكترونية التي يمكن تحميلها مجاناً. وكثير من هذه الكتب يتحدث حول معنى الجهاد، وحكمه، وتمويله، واستراتيجيته، ومن يجب عليهم القتل. وهنا كعدد منا لمفاهيم الجهادية التي يحتمل أن تؤثرعلى القرّاء إلى التطرف الديني. ومن هذه المفاهيم أن الجهاد هو الحرب او القتل لا غير، وأن التفجيرالانتحاري هوجزء من الجهاد ويسمونه بعملية إستشهادية، وان الحكومة الطاغوتية هي التى يجب عليها الحرب أو القتل. وتحتمل هذه الكتب المترجمة الجهادية أن تؤثر على نمو المواقف المتطرفة والمتعصبة في المؤسسات التعليمية، وذلك من خلال أنشطة الإرشاد إلى الدين الإسلامي (mentoring Agama Islam) في اكثر الجامعات، ومن خلال أنشطة المنظمة الطلابية الإسلامية (Rohis) في SMA/SMK، ومن خلال الصداقة الشبكة بين الطلاب،  وكذلك من خلال البرامج الخفية لدى المؤسسات التعليمية التى تعارض أيديولوجية الحكومة الإندونسية. ولذلك، ينبغى أن يقدم مفهوم الجهاد اللينة لدى المسلمين الإندونسيين لنقصان الأثرالسلبي لهذه الكتب المترجمة.

Abstract

Islamic educational activities can take place anywhere, including in the Majelis Doa and Taklim At-Taqwa at Wonokromo, Pleret, Bantul. In general, the informal education activitieslike have not sustained for long times, however mujahadah weekly activities of the Majelis has been going on for 22years with the number of jamaah or adherents over 3000 people, there is even a tendency of increasing the number of jamaah. By a qualitative approach through participant observation and in-depth interviews, the article writer finds three things that underlie this fact. First, KH. Abdul Khaliq Syifa as a leader of Majelis applied a model of public speaking that combine all the elements of the speaker, the listener, message, medium, feedback, interference, and situation. Judging from the purpose of public speaking, Kyai Khaliq’s lecturesare more patterned informative, persuasive, argumentative, educational, and entertainment. That is why, he talks very positive impact on the audiences or jamaah. Secondly, there are two values of Islamic education imparted to the jamaah, i.e practical and theoretical values. The practical value is shown in the form of exercise and refraction for zikr through the reading of al-Fatihah 41 times then followed by tahlil. While the theoretical values are Islamic teachings writen in the Mukhtarul Ahadith which includes the dimensions of aqidah, fiqh, morality, mysticism, and others. Third, based on the narrative of the jamaah, the mujahadah activities in the Majelis Doa dan Taklim At-Taqwa have positive impactson increasing spirituality and the meaning of their lives. Among the positive impacts occur on the satisfaction of their spirituality, their religious quality and their socio-economic benefits ويمكن للأنشطة التعليمية أن تتخذ في أي مكان ولا سيما فيمجلس"التقوى" فى الدعاء و التعليمالذي يقع في وونوكرومو، فليريت، بانتول.بينما كثير من الأنشطة التعليمية غير النظامية لم يدم طويلا، ولكن المجاهدةالأسبوعيةفى هذاالمجلس قد بقيتالى 22سنة ويشارك فيها أكثر من 3000 شخص، بل يزداد فى كل وقت. وبتطبيق المنهج النوعي فى البحث يجد الكاتب من خلال الملاحظة بالمشاركة والمقابلات المتعمقة،ان هناك ثلاثة أشياء التي تكمن وراء هذه الحقيقة. أولا،ان الشيخ عبد الخالق شفاء كمعلم فى هذا المجلسقادرعلى الجمع بين جميع عناصرالخطابة العامية من المتكلم، والمستمعين، ورسالة، والمتوسطة، وردود الفعل، والتدخل، والوضع. انطلاقا من اغراض الخطابة العامية، تكون محاضرات الشيخ عبد الخالق أكثر نمط بالمعلومات، ومقنعة، وجدلية، والتعليمية، والترفيهية. هذا هو السبب، من انمحاضراته قد تأثرت إيجابية جدا على نفوس الحا ضرينوالمستمعين. ثانيا، ان هناك نوعين من قيم التربية الإسلامية المنقولة إلى الحا ضرين، وهما القيمة العملية والنظرية. وتتحققالقيمة العملية في ممارسة الذكر جماعةبقراءة سورة الفاتحة 41 مرة ثم يليها التهليل. وأما القيمة النظرية فتتحقق من خلال محاضرات الشيخ عبد الخالق المنقولة من كتاب مختارالأحاديث كتبها الشيخ الهاشمى. ويشتمل هذا الكتاب العقيدة والفقه والأخلاق والتصوف وغيرها. ثالثا، استنادا إلى الرواية من االحاضرين والمشاركين،أن المجاهدةالأسبوعية في هذاالمجلسقد تأثرت إيجابية جدا على زيادة الإيمان فى نفوسهم ومعنى حياتهم. ومن الآثار الإيجابيةلديهم انهم قد رضوا وقنعوا الى شعور دينهمالروحية، وصلاح اعمالهم الدينية، والمنافع الاجتماعية والاقتصادية لديهم

Abstract

The paper aims to describe the child education in Serat Wulang Sunu written by Sunan Pakubuwono IV. The writer focuses on content, purpose, subject matter, a method of education and also the relevance of educational values of Serat Wulang Sunu currently. The result is Serat Wulang Sunu teach the children behavioral ethics to parent and the other. The education purpose is creating the child dutiful to the parents as a child ideal profile. Subject matter thought by Serat Wulang Sunu involved politeness, respect to parents, command, and prohibition with parents. The method that used in Serat Wulang Sunu thought through the advice, prohibition, threat, and an appointment. The thought and education values in Serat Wulang Sunu still relevance when used in the education system today. Serat Wulang Sunu has universal thought and values that must be preserved for human life.هذه الكتابة لتصريح تربية الطّللّاب في " Serat Wulang Sunu" لسنن فاكوبووانا. اما تركين هذا البحث هو التضمين, والهدف, والمادة, ومنهج الدراسة, ومنهج التربية في "سورة وولاع سونو" ثم صلح القيم التربوية في " Serat Wulang Sunu " مع تعليم الحالي. هذا النوع من البحوث هو دراسة الأدب. تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام تحليل المحتوى. نتائج هذه الدراسة هي محتويات التعاليم  في " Serat Wulang Sunu " هو زراعة القيم التعبدية للأطفال ليكون لديهم موقف طاعة الوالدين. الغرض من التعليم هو تكوين أطفال مطيعين لأولياء الأمور كالملف المثالي للطفل. المادة التي يتم تدريسها في" Serat Wulang Sunu " هو تعليم القيم العالمية. الطريقة المستخدمة في التعليم "سورة وولاع سونو" هو من خلال الطريقة الشفهية. التعليم و القيم التعليمية الواردة في " Serat Wulang Sunu " ذات الصلة إذا استخدمت في التعليم اليوم. " Serat Wulang Sunu " لديه التعاليم والقيم العالمية التي يتم الحفاظ عليها في حياة الإنسان.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the hagiographical book of Shaikh ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Jailānī has many versions of translation. One of it is an-Nūr al-burhānī, a Javanese translation by Kyai Muslih al-Marāqī. Unlike other Javanese translations, an-Nūr al-burhānī is not merely a translation but can be considered a new book, in which the translator added some new information and opinion in it. Therefore, the book is interesting to be investigated deeply to find scientific information about the content of the book, the technique, method, and ideology of translation that are adopted and applied by the translator. Using content analysis, the study finds that the book consists of al-Jailānī’s journey of life, his miracles and teachings. The other findings prove that the translator has implemented various techniques of translation such as calque, borrowing, description, amplification-addition, and adaptation techniques. The translator has tried to make the TT (Target Text) easy to be understood by Javanese people, but he tends to apply literal (linguistic transcodification) method rather than interpretative-communicative (translation of the sense) method. As a result, the TT is still influenced by the structure of Arabic as SL (Source Text) and not natural in everyday use of Javanese language. Thus, it can be inferred that the translator more dominantly adopts the ideology of foreignization than domestication. However, what the translator does is more advanced than the other Javanese translators, who usually use only the word for word or literal translation method. This is the uniqueness in translating al-Jailānī’s hagiography or manāqib.

Abstract

It is undeniable that some Indonesian Muslims understand Islam in a radicalism perspective. They used several means to disseminate this radicalism through the organization of cadres, speeches in mosques are managed by their control, publishing magazines, booklets and books, and through various websites on the internet. As a result, Islamic radicalism has entered the most schools in some areas. If this is not immediately anticipated, it can help in growing the intolerance attitudes among students as opposed to the purpose of religious education itself.

Abstract

The use of Arabic script (Pegon) in the Javanese books translated from Arabic has marked a certain phase in the historical dynamics of Islamic intellectualism in Nusantara and Java in particular. By these translation activities, kitab kuning (Arabic books) are no longer enjoyed solely by the elite kyai-santri, but they can also be read by Muslims outside the walls of pesantren. The various themes of the Javaness books translated from Arabic that reach across all disciplines in Islamic teachings resulted in the rapid growing of Islamic discourse in society. Cherishing nature conveyed within the translation books generated peaceful life among Moslems. In terms of educational contexts, these book have been used in pesantren, madrasah diniyah and majelis taklim as suplementary books. Over time, most of the translated books have now metamorphosed into Indonesian edition. However, there is still numerous Arabic-Javanese language translation books occupy modest bookstalls waiting for the loyal and unpretentious readers.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the role of Sunni-Shia Islamic educational institutions in building multiculturalism in a pluralistic society. So far, the Sunni-Shia relationship has been depicted in a conflictual scheme. The research method was qualitative from the sociology of education perspective. Through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation techniques, this study showed that the atmosphere of peace between Sunni-Shia in Banjaran is reflected in the social works of humanity, organizations and Islamic educational institutions. Multicultural education cannot be separated from the role of formal and non-formal Islamic education institutions such as TPQ Al-Husainiah (Shia), TPQ Ma'arif 17 KH. Muhammad Arif (Sunni) and MI Mabadil Huda (Sunni). The kinship also has a contribution to maintaining Sunni-Shia harmony in Banjaran. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of multicultural Islamic education models in rural. Practically, it is beneficial for Islamic education institutions in building awareness of multiculturalism and tolerance between religious sects.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek  yang sangat penting bagi  perkembangan dan pertumbuhan pada anak usia dini adalah aspek motorik kasar, karena perkembangan motorik kasar akan berimplikasi pada perkembangan anak kedepannya. Begitu juga dengan anak dengan keterbelakangan fisik dan mental (Down Syndrome). Untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan aspek fisik motorik anak down syndrome seorang guru atau orang tua perlu memberikan latihan-latihan gerak pada anak, misalnya gerak lokomotor. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan motorik kasar anak down syndrome melalui latihan-latihan gerak lokomotor. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang anak berinisial Jf yang sekolah di TK Islam Pelangi Anak Negeri berusia 5 tahun 5 bulan dan mengalami gangguan down syndrome dengan tingkat hambatan intelektual ringan. Dalam proses penelitian, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan tehnik pengambilan data menggunakan tehnik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan tehnik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model miles dan huberman dengan tahap analisis data yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi dengan pengujian kebasahan data menggunakan  tehnik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek fisik motorik anak down syndrome semakin berkembang setelah diberikan latihan-latihan gerak lokomotor. Anak mampu melakukan gerakan lokomotor seperti berlari, merangkak, berjalan, mendaki, meluncur, berjengket, meloncat, mengguling dan melompat.
