Abstract

Mangrove forest stores enormous economic potential. Economic activity in the mangrove forest village Dabong was catching mangrove clams, fish, shrimp and mud crab. Cultivation of soft-shelled crabs can be done with simple methods such as single cage and mass cage combained moulting pool to facilitate moulting monitor the change of the crab skin. Advantages of moulting pool are  ease moulting time monitoring and crab moulting secure against attack other animals.Cultivation of soft-shelled crabs need to be developed extensively for broad economic benefits for the sailor. The results indicate that the development of aquaculture activities shelled crabs using mass cage and moulting pool provide greater benefits. Labor productivity with the same can be increased up to 4- fold compared to a single cage aquaculture way. Excellence moulting pool caused by intensive monitoring for skin exchange both day and night.

Abstract

Radar merupakan sistem pemancar dan penerima gelombang elektromagnetik untuk mendeteksi, mengukur jarak dan membuat peta benda benda seperti pesawat terbang, kapal laut, kendaran bermotor dan informasi cuaca. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi pada sistem radar adalah sinyal pantulan yang memiliki daya yang rendah sehingga kualitas penerimaan menjadi kurang baik. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut dibutuhkan penguat daya pada sistem penerima yaitu Low Noise Amplifier (LNA). Oleh karena itu, tulisan ini memaparkan perancangan LNA dengan menggunakan teknik Non Simultaneous Conjugate Match (NSCM) untuk aplikasi radar S-Band. Teknik ini memberikan kemudahan dalam menentukan nilai trade off (TO) untuk nilai gain, noise figure (NF) dan Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) yang diinginkan. Dalam proses perancangannya, perangkat lunak Agilent Design System (ADS) 2011 digunakan untuk mendapatkan hubungan antara lingkaran gain, lingkaran NF, lingkaran VSWR, dan lingkaran mismatch factor (M). Dari hubungan tersebut diperoleh nilai impedansi masukan dan keluaran dari komponen aktif. Dalam tulisan ini, LNA dirancang dua tingkat untuk mendapatkan penguatan yang tinggi. Masing-masing tingkat menggunakan komponen aktif BJT BFP420 dengan penguatan dirancang sebesar 13,50 dB untuk tingkat pertama dan kedua, dan M sebesar 0,98. Sedangkan untuk saluran penyesuai impedansinya menggunakan substrat teflon fiberglass DiClad527. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan karakteristik LNA pada frekuensi 3 GHz yaitu gain sebesar 28,80 dB, NF sebesar 2,80 dB, VSWRin sebesar 1,05 dan VSWRout sebesar 1,1.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh daya hambat edible coating kitosan – pati biji durian dengan penambahan ekstrak daun kesum terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Escherichia coli. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak daun kesum K0=0,00%; K1=0,20%; K2=0,40%; K3=0,60%; K4=0,80%; K5=1,00%; K6=1,20% dan K7=1,40%. Edible coating dibuat dengan formula dasar pati biji durian 3,00%; kitosan 0,80%; gliserol 0,60%. Parameter yang diamati adalah daya hambat menggunakan metode paper disk.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa daya hambat edible coating pati biji durian – kitosan dengan penambahan ekstrak daun kesum berpengaruh sangat nyata (p<0,01) terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus maupun Escherichia coli. Nilai daya hambat edible coating dengan penambahan ekstrak daun kesum terhadap bakteri S.aureus antara 3,432 – 4,344 mm, sedangkan bakteri  E.coli antara 2,233 – 3,596 mm. Daya hambat terhadap bakteri yang tertinggi adalah ekstrak daun kesum 1,40% sebesar 4,344 mm (S. aureus) dan 3,596 mm (E. coli). Semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak daun kesum, terbukti bahwa semakin tinggi daya hambat terhadap bakteri S. aureus dan E. coli. ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to determine the inhibitory effect of edible coating chitosan from durian seed starch by the addition of Kesum leaf extract toward the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.  This experimental design used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) treated by concentration of Kesum leaf extract (K):  K0=0.00%, K1=0.20%, K2= 0.40%, K3=0.60%, K4=0.80%, K5=1.00%, K6=1.20%, and K7=1.40%. The formulation of edible coating consist of 3.00% durian seed starch; 0.80% chitosan and 0.60% gliserol. The observed parameter is inhibitory effect using paper disk method. The result showed that the inhibition of edible coating chitosan from durian seed starch treated with the addition of Kesum leaf extract has significantly effect (p<0.01) on inhibition the growth of S. aureus and E. coli.  The inhibitory effect of edible coating by adding Kesum leaf extract to S. aereus growth ranged 3.432 – 4.344 mm, while in E. coli ranged 2.233 – 3.596 mm. The highest of inhibitory effect on bacteria was 1.40% Kesum leaf extract; 4.344 mm in S. aureus and 3.596 mm in E. coli. The higher the concentration of Kesum leaf extract, the greater the inhibition of S. aureus and E. coli.

Abstract

This study describes how the implementation of e-learning in Arabic language learning at Islamic Global School Elementary School, Malang City during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses qualitative research, with data in the form of descriptive. Data collection used is by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are as follows: 1). The implementation of e-learning at SD Islamic Global School uses 5 main media, namely: google classrom, whatsAap, you tube, zoom, and quizizz. 2). The implementation of e-learning in Arabic learning at SD Islamic Global School consists of 3 main steps, namely; introduction, core activities, and evaluation. 3). In implementing e-learning-based Arabic learning at SD Islamic Global School, there are advantages and disadvantages. There are 3 advantages, namely: providing opportunities for students and teachers to be more creative and innovative, providing flexible time, and providing easy access to learning resources. Meanwhile, there are also 3 drawbacks, namely: not all students have an Android cellphone or laptop to support the implementation of e-learning-based Arabic learning. Uneven internet access, lack of supervision and reduced interaction between teachers and students in the process of teaching and learning activities. Penelitian ini mendiskripsikan tentang implementasi e-learning dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Sekolah Dasar Islamic Global School, Kota Malang selama pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan data berupa berupa deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini, sebagai berikut: 1). Pelaksanakan pembelajaran e-learning di SD Islamic Global School menggunakan 5 media utama, yaitu: google classrom, whatsAap, you tube, zoom, dan quizizz. 2). Adapun kelebihannya ada 3, yaitu: memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa dan guru untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif, memberikan waktu yang fleksibel, dan memberikan kemudahan akses terhadap sumber belajar. Sedangkan, kekurangannya ada 3 juga, yaitu: tidak semua siswa memiliki HP android ataupun laptop guna menunjang pelaksanakan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab berbasis e-learning. Akses internet tidak merata, minimnya pengawasan serta berkurangnya interaksi antar guru dan siswa dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Abstract

IndonesianSayur-sayuran adalah salah satu jenis komoditas penting di Indonesia yang termasuk dalam penyurnbang devisa ekspor nonmigas di Indonesia. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguji konsep integrasi pasar pada komoditas sayur-sayuran terpilih di Indonesia. Spesifikasi model digunakan merupakan aplikasi model yang kembangkan oleh Ravallion (1986). Empat jenis sayur-sayuran di antara 21 sayuran yang diproduksi di Indonesia dipilih untuk pengujian integrasi pasar. Pemilihan tersebut berdasarkan pada urutan rangking luasan tanam dan hasil panen yang diproduksi selama periode 1969-1990. Hasil uji statistik dengan F-test menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada satu pun kombinasi pasar yang tersegmentasi. Hal ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi petani dan pengambil kebijakan di Indonesia. Hanya beberapa kombinasi pasar sayur-sayuran yang terintegrasi dalam jangka pendek. Hasil lain juga menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas sarana transportasi diantara pasar produsen-konsumen dan sifat karakteristik sayur-sayuran yang mudah rusak (perishable) adalah hal penting dalam menjelaskan faktor yang mempengaruhi kecepatan transmisi harga. Integrasi pasar yang terjadi bersifat langsung (directional) di mana pasar di Jawa Barat dan Jakarta terintegrasi dengan pasar di Sumatera; sedangkan pasar di Jawa Tengah terintegrasi dengan Jawa Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat dan Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

A high sensitivity very low frequency (VLF) receiver is developed based on AD744 monolithic operational amplifier (Op-Amp) for earthquake data acquisition. In research related natural phenomena such as atmospheric noise, lightning and earthquake, a VLF receiver particularly with high sensitivity is utterly required due to the low power of VLF wave signals received by the antenna. The developed receiver is intended to have high sensitivity reception for the signals in frequency range of 10-30 kHz allocated for earthquake observation. The VLF receiver which is portably designed is also equipped with an output port connectable to the soundcard of personal computer for further data acquisition. After obtaining the optimum design, the hardware realization is implemented on a printed circuit board (PCB) for experimental characterization. It shows that the sensitivity of realized VLF receiver is almost linear in the predefined frequency range for the input signals lower than -12dBm and to be quadratic for the higher level input signals.

Abstract

In this paper, a data processing technique to obtain the true characteristic of microwave absorber material characterization is proposed. This technique addressed to overcome the limitations of port extension is known as hybrid de-embedding technique, which in principle is carried out by combining the structure model data of test fixture that is used with simulated data or experimental measurements. In this technique, the test fixture is simulated numerically to get S (scattering) parameter data. Then the S parameter is converted into the T parameter (transfer) to be used for de-embedding process by removing the characteristic of test fixture used so that the true characteristics of a microwave absorber material can be revealed. To verify the accuracy of technique proposed, the characteristics of a microwave absorber is simulated numerically and measured experimentally. The simulation and measurements results are then processed using the proposed technique to be compared with its ideal model. In general, the result of de-embedding process shows that the proposed technique has high accuracy.

Abstract

Surface penetrating radar (SPR) is an imaging device of electromagnetic wave that works by emitting and transmitting a narrow period pulse through the antenna. Due to the use of narrow period pulse, according to the Fourier transform duality, therefore ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna becomes one of the most important needs in SPR system. In this paper, a novel UWB printed antenna is proposed to be used for SPR application. Basically, the proposed antenna is developed from a rectangular microstrip antenna fed by symmetric T-shaped. Some investigation methods such as resistive loading, abrupt transition, and ground plane modification are attempted to achieve required characteristics of bandwidth, radiation efficiency, and compactness needed by the system. To obtain the optimum design, the characteristics of proposed antenna are numerically investigated through the physical parameters of antenna. It is shown that proposed antenna deployed on an FR-4 Epoxy substrate with permittivity of 4.3 and thickness of 1.6mm has a compact size of 72.8mm x 60.0mm and a large bandwidth of 50MHz-5GHz which is suitable for SPR application.

Abstract

The paper deals with the numerical and experimental development of single stage radio frequency (RF) amplifier with high gain for 2.4GHz receiver front-ends. The work is motivated by the increasing demand of high-gain receiver amplifier in low-cost especially for wireless local area network (WLAN) application. Prior hardware realization and experimental characterization, the proposed amplifier which uses a single RF transistor of BFP420 type is numerically designed using ADS® software to satisfy the required specification. To obtain the impedance matching at ports of amplifier, microstrip lines are employed at the input and output ports. The prototype of amplifier is realized by use of a dielectric substrate of glass-reinforced epoxy lamination (FR4) board which has thickness of 0.762mm and relative permittivity of 4.3. The prototype is then experimentally characterized and demonstrates the gain of 13.35dB at frequency of 2.4GHz with the noise figure of 3.33dB, the input and output voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 2.08 and 2.55, respectively.
