Abstract

E-sapawarga adalah salah satu contoh inovasi e-government yang masih belum dikenal secara luas oleh masyarakat Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang memperngaruhi manfaat e-sapawarga dari sudut pandang pengguna. Penelitian mengenai kesuksesan sistem ini memakai Information Systems Success Model (ISSM). Penggunaan ISSM pada penelitian ini dikarenakan terdapat beberapa variabel atau dimensi yang dapat mengukur manfaat suatu sistem informasi melalui proses layanan e-government dengan basis G2C (government to citizen). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) digunakan untuk mengukur variabel-variabel yang terdapat dalam model ISSM melalui pengolahan data kuesioner pada 51 pengguna e-sapawarga mewakili populasi pengguna saat itu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi manfaat sistem e-sapawarga ialah System Quality, User Satisfaction, Use, dan Perceived Net Benefit.  Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk Dinkominfo (khususnya Media Center) yang dapat digunakan untuk perbaikan e-sapawarga di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Puzzle game merupakan genre game yang paling diminati, demikian juga dengan adventure game. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat sebuah rancangan game dengan genre puzzle namun menyisipkan adventure di dalamnya. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metodologi perancangan software berorientasi objek. Perangkat pemodelan yang digunakan adalah use case diagram, state diagrams dan class diagram. Perancangan menghasilkan delapan belas class diagram yang dapat dituangkan dalam bentuk kode bahasa pemrograman berorientasi objek

Abstract

An e-learning implementation is part of software implementation. In Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), implementation is the phase after software being develoved and tested. Unfortunately, even software has been developed and tested, there has been quite number of failure stories in the implementation of e-learning.E-learning implementation concerns with three main activities: delivery, support, and feedback. To assure the success of e-learning implementation, it requires careful plans and proper and systematic implementation phases since there will a quite degree of possibilities of uncertainties and risks that may hinder successful implementation of e-learning.One of the methods adoptable to prevent failures in e-learning implementation is risk analysis. Due to those purposes, this research contributed to any institutions planning to implement e-learning to be better prepare and identify what kind of risks that may arise in the process of e-learning implementation and proper risk mitigation plan in order to be able to prevent the failure.This research has identified 24 risks that may hinder successful implementation of e-learning. And for those risks there will be choosen the high-risk activity in implementing e-learning using the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). There are 3-prioritized risks; very high, high, fair. And this research focuses on the very high and high degree of potential RPN are: resistance from the users due to non-involvement in the process of need identification leading to generation of final products that are not in compliance with the users, lack of policies to obligate the adoption of e-learning in learning processes, and unwillingness of the users to change to use e-learning.

Abstract

This paper aims to understand the behavioral intentions of students in using e-learning in a public university in Indonesia. We apply the e-learning quality model to observe the quality factors that trigger intentions. The quality factors include assurance, empathy, responsiveness, reliability, and website content. Understanding how these quality learning factors may affect a student’s behavior intention to use e-learning is important to bring e-learning implementation success. We collected 502 responses from university students at a public university in Indonesia that implements a Moodle-based e-learning platform – namely ShareITS. Out of 5 (five) quality learning factors, we found only 2 (two) that significantly affect the e-learning quality – i.e., responsiveness and website content. The result shows that the teacher-student engagement in the e-learning platform and also the better visual design of ShareITS can improve the quality of the e-learning platform.

Abstract

Akhir-akhir ini Indonesia sedang gencar menumbuhkan semangat berwirausaha pada generasi muda. Banyak program-program kewirausahaan yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah. Pihak swasta pun juga ikut menyelenggarakan berbagai program wirausaha.Program-program yang diselenggarakan berupa seminar, perlombaa maupun pelatihan-pelatihan. Salah satu lembaga pelatihan enterpreneur yang ternama dan gencar mengadakan pelatihan di Indonesia adalah lembaga pelatihan XYZ. Masalah pengorganisasian data peserta dan koordinasi antar cabang menjadi masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh lembaga pelatihan XYZ dalam mengadakan pelatihan. Masalah tersebut dapat diselesaikan dengan sebuah perangkat lunak sistem informasi manajemen berbasis web. Perangkat lunak berbasis web memiliki kemampuan untuk mengintegrasikan data-data pelatihan yang ada di cabang kedalam satu database terpusat. Perangkat lunak yang dibangun diberi nama sistem informasi manajemen pelatihan. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan pembangunan Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pelatihan pada Lembaga Pelatihan XYZ dan akan dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Unified Process. Hasil dari pengerjaan tugas akhir ini adalah rancangan dan perangkat lunak sistem informasi manajemen pelatihan untuk lembaga pelatihan XYZ.
