Abstract

This research empirically and comparatively examines the quality of conventional and Islamic banks’ asset management in Indonesia during the period 2009-2011. Four general conventional banks [i.e., Bank Mandiri Indonesia (BMI), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bank Central Asia (BCA), and Bank Nasional Indonesia (BNI)] and four Islamic banks (Bank Muamalat, Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Syariah Mega Indonesia, and Bank Syariah BRI) were, respectively, explored. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to compare the quality of the Islamic and conventional banks’ asset management with the CAMEL (capital, asset, management, earning, and liquidity) method. It also attempts to analyse the influences of the ROA (Return on Asset), TLTA (Total Loan to Total Assets), and OITL (Operating Income to Total Liabilities) on the quality of the banks’ asset management. The CAMEL method was used to evaluate the quality level of the banks’ asset management, while the multiple regression analysis was then adopted to explore the determinants of the quality of the banks’ asset management. The study documented that Bank Syariah BRI was the best performing bank, with the highest CAMEL score of 50.33, while Bank Mandiri Indonesia was the worst performer with the lowest CAMEL score of 26.33. As a group, the Islamic banks were found to have better rankings, i.e., positions 1, 2, 3, and 6, while the conventional banks were found in 4, 5, 7, and 8, respectively. The study proved that the Islamic banks have a better asset management quality compared to their conventional counterparts. The Islamic banks were also proved to be better able to withstand the risks, particularly the financing risk.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to know how the monitoring is conducted by the managers in improving Competitive advantage in Bank and Non-Bank institution. The independent variable consists of Policy Monitoring of Capital Structure and Blog e - CRM (Customer Relationship Management) of company. The Company value is the dependent variable, while the Competitive Advantage becomes an intervening variable. The Monitoring Information of employee is an asset for the company such as about relationship between the employee and a certain talent employee.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of the momentum strategy of domestic investors who trade small order sizes on IDX. The data used in this study is intraday trade transaction data from the LQ 45 Index for March, April and May 2017 obtained from The Indonesia Capital Market Institute. The method of data analysis used is the market-adjusted model approach. The results of this study indicate that domestic investors who trade in small order sizes tend to use the momentum strategy in government and non-government stock issuers. This finding implies that when IDX is in a good performance, investors should take advantage of this condition because buying stocks that have already been performing well provides a significant short-term abnormal return. https://doi.org/10.21632/irjbs.14.1.35-47

Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam thesis ini adalah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tenaga kerja di Kota Banda Aceh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri kecil di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Analisis regresi ini kita gunakan untuk menguji model penyerapan tenaga kerja. Bermula dan spesifikasi model yang dibentuk berdasar teori yang ada atas suatu permasalahan sebagai mana dalam landasan teori, berupa penjabaran model.   Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil analisis menunjukkan Koefisien dari variabel upah dalam persamaan regsesi berganda bernilai negatif sebesar -7,158 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap penurunan 1% untuk upah maka akan meningkatkan jumlah penyerapan tenaga kerja sebesar 7,158%. Koefisien dari variabel investasi dalam persamaan regsesi berganda bernilai positif sebesar 2,590 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap kenaikan 1% untuk investasi maka akan meningkatkan jumlah penyerapan tenaga kerja sebesar 2,590%. Koefisien dari variabel nilai produksi dalam persamaan regsesi berganda bernilai positif adalah 1,108 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap kenaikan 1 % untuk nilai produksi maka akan meningkatkan jumlah penyerapan tenaga kerja sebesar 1,108 %. Implikasi kebijakannya adalah agar pihak pemerintah memberikan kemudahan dalam meminjamkan modal untuk menambah modal agar meningkatnya nilai produksi. Pemerintah juga tidak menaikkan upah agar industri selalu cenderung menambah tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to learn the portrayals of PPK-BLUD implementation and its obstacles at the Public Hospitals of Banda Aceh. The study employed the qualitative analysis method with the descriptive design. Primary data were used in this study. The analysis results show that all flexibilities of BLUD have been well implemented. The public perceived the post PPK-BLUD implementation service as satisfying, and good perception was also observed amid the hospital staffs. The obstacles faced in implementing PPK-BLUD were the inability of the human resources at Meuraxa Public Hospital to utilize existing business opportunities, cost inefficiency, cost differences between RSUD Meuraxa Public Hospital and INA CBG’s BPJS which resulted in a decrease in the hospital income.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) the influence of the competence to the employee's work engagement (2) the influence of work load on work engagement, (3) the influence of work stress on employee's work engagement (4) the influence of competence to organizational performance (5) on the performance of the organization, (6) the influence of job stress on the performance of the organization (7) the influence of work engagement on the performance (8) the influence of competence, workload and work stress organizational performance through employee work engagement. The object of this research is competence, work load, work stress, employee's work engagement and organizational performance. Data analysis equipment used in research structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis with the help of Amos program. The result of the research shows that the competence, work load, work stress, work engagement and organizational performance, competence influence to work engagement, work load influence to work engagement, work stress influence to work engagement, competence influence to organizational performance, employee also give influence to organizational performance, work stress influence to organizational performance, employee work engagement have positive and significant effect to organizational performance, there is indirect influence of competence, work load and work stress to organizational performance. Because work engagement is partially mediated in mediating competence, workload and job stress on performance, it is advisable to the PUPR leadership if it is to improve the performance of the Dinas it can be done by simply improving the competency, workload and work stress only or also improving the work engagement

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of work motivation, work environment, and organizational culture on employee performance and its impact on the performance of Bank Aceh Syariah in Banda Aceh City. The result of the research shows that work motivation, work environment, organizational culture, employee performance and performance of Bank Aceh Syariah in Banda Aceh city have been good. Work motivation, work environment, and organizational culture either partially or simultaneously have a significant and positive impact on the performance of Bank Aceh Syariah employees in Banda Aceh City. Abstract

AbstractThe objectives of this study are to: (1) describe budget planning, budget implementation, budget accountability, good governance and local government performance (2) test budget planning, budget implementation, budget accountability influence on good governance local government, budget planning, budget implementation and budget accountability affect the performance of local government, (4) implementation of good governance to local government performance (5) examine the indirect effect of budget planning, budget implementation, budget accountability and budget evaluation to local government kinreja through application good governance. This study was conducted on all officials of budget users, financial administration and treasurer of 123 people. The test results indicate that budget planning, budget implementation, budget accountability, good governance and local government performance, good governance implementation affect the performance of local government. Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of corporate ethics and employee empowerment on organizational commitment as well as its impact on the organizational citizenship behavior of PT Telkom regional Aceh. The study conducted of 218 employees of the corporate The data collected by questionnaire and then the data is analyzed by statistical means of structural equation model (SEM). The study found that  corporate ethics has a positive and significant effect on the organizational commitment and OCB. In contrast, the employee empowerment has no effect on organizational commitment, but it has a positive and significant effect on OCB. The organizational commitment mediates the effect of corporate ethics and employee empowerment on OCB of the employee of the corporation

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know / analyze: (1) the influence of leadership on employee motivation, (2) the effect of communication on employee motivation, (3) the influence of conflict on employee motivation, (4) the influence of leadership on employee performance, (5) the effect of communication on employee performance, (6) the effect of conflict on employee performance, (7) the influence of motivation on employee performance, (8) the indirect influence of leadership on employee performance through employee work motivation, (9) the indirect influence of communication on the performance of employees through employee work motivation, (10) the indirect effect of conflict on the performance of employees through employee work motivation. This research was conducted at the Department of Industry and Trade of Aceh. As for the object of this research is leadership, communication, conflict and work motivation and employee performance, with the number of respondents as many as 130 people. The result of this research shows that leadership influence to employee work motivation, communication also influence to employee work motivation, conflict between employee have influence to work motivation, work motivation possessed by employee have influence to improvement of employee performance, leadership owned by employee have an effect on performance employee, communication influence to employee performance, then conflict influence to employee performance, there is indirect influence of leadership to employee performance through employee work motivation, there is indirect influence of communication to employee performance through employee work motivation, there is indirect influence of conflict to officer performance through employee work motivation
