Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of individual dimensions of financial literacy on financial inclusion. This research design is a survey with an online questionnaire. The object of this research is the people in rural Bengkulu. The respondent in this study was 503 respondents. This study used convenience sampling with screening. This study reveals that knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors influence financial inclusion in rural Bengkulu. While skills do not affect financial inclusion in rural Bengkulu. This research also found that attitude is the variable that has the greatest influence on financial inclusion.

Abstract

This research is conducted to detect the health level of Bank listed in indonesian stock exchange using RGEC period 2014-2015. RGEC is the aspect that most influence on the financial condition of banks, which also affect the health of banks. By using the NPL, LDR, IRR, NPM, ROA, NIM and CAR. Population in this study are all companies of Bank listed on stock exchange totaling 42 companies. Based on sampling criteria finally obtained sample is 21 companies of bank publish financial reports continuously in the period 2014-2015. The results obtained that the NPL from overall of bank sampel in 2014-2015 categorized is healthy. The results obtained that the LDR from sampel there’s counted 6 healthy categorized company enough. Companies categorized as unhealthy counted 6 bank. The results obtained from IRR variable there’s counted 2 healthy expressed bank and there’s counted 9 bank categorized as unhealthy. NPM variable obtained get result counted 8 bank categorized as unhealthy, there’s counted 7 bank categorized very healthy and 2 bank categorized healthy. ROA variable there’s counted 2 bank categorized as unhealthy and 3 bank categorized very healthy. NIM variable there’s counted 4 bank categorized healthy and 17 bank categorized as very healthy. CAR variable there’s counted 1 company categorized healthy and 20 company categorized very healthy.

Abstract

Signifikannya geliat internet di Indonesia membuat kontribusi internet (Google) sebagai media perantara penyampaian informasi ke publik menjadi sarana yang semakin diminati. Hal ini menjadi relevan karena andil internet terhadap perkembangan ekonomi Indonesia juga tercatat sebagai determinan yang penting. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bermaksud menguji peran Internet yang dapat dianalogikan sebagai representasi dari perhatian investor, dan menghubungkannya dengan likuiditas saham perusahaan publik yang diperdagangkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Dengan menggunakan basis teori asimetri informasi, penelitian ini juga mengkaji secara empiris upaya mitigasi terhadap kesenjangan informasi antara investor terinformasi (informed) vs. investor tidak terinformasi (uninformed). Secara operasional, penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dari 82 perusahaan publik di BEI dengan periode waktu pengamatan bulanan dari bulan Januari 2013 sampai dengan Desember 2017. Dengan karakteristik dan struktur data panel, maka penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi panel dengan jumlah data sebesar 4,920 observasi (perusahaan-bulan). Analisis yang digunakan juga menerapkan fixed-effect model (FEM) pada level perusahaan (firm-FE) dan tahun (Month-FE), yang disertai dengan clustered SE guna mengantisipasi potensi overestimasi pada nilai standard error (SE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat asosiasi yang positif antara perhatian investor yang diwakili oleh GSV (Google Search Volume) dengan likuiditas saham perusahaan, TV (Trading Volume). Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa stakeholder (investor) dapat mempergunakan informasi publik yang tersedia dan didistribusikan melalui internet untuk mereduksi tingkat asimetri informasi yang terjadi antara informed vs. uninformed investor di pasar modal.

Abstract

The implementation of good corporate governance practices aims to optimize the allocation of company resources to achieve the growth and welfare of company owners. In the long term, effective corporate governance can improve company performance, which benefits the shareholders and public. This research focuses on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2019. The level of transparency of good corporate governance and cross-directorship on company value were examined. This study used historical data, and multiple regression analysis was operated to analyze the data. The results concluded that corporate governance transparency has a significant effect on company value with corporate governance practices (in accordance with KNKCG), which can help managers describe their level of transparency in implementing good corporate governance. The cross-directorships board also has an impact on company value. This role is beneficial for obtaining necessary information and resources, considering that limited resources can create competitive advantages.
