Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the number of students who do not understand the concept of mathematics learning especially on KPK and FPB material well, so the value of mathematics learning result of students is still relatively low. Data obtained from the observation results in the know that the value of mathematics KKM in the school set is 72. The number of students who reach KKM is only 6 of 23 people or only 26.08%, while the number of students who have not reached the KKM of 17 people or equal to 73.92%. . Based on this problem, the action taken is cooperative learning with dakota props. The purpose of this research is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. This form of research is a classroom action research. The subject is the students of grade IVA at SDN 119 Pekanbaru, consisting of 23 students; 10 men and 13 women. The research instruments are test sheets, teacher and student observation sheets, and documentation files. The results show an improvement over each cycle. Teacher activity in the first cycle was 54.15%, and increased to 77.15%. In cycle II was 87.5%, and increased to 95.83%. Student activity in cycle I was 54.15%, and increased to 62.5%. In cycle II was 87.5%, and increased to 95.83%. The student's average score also shows improvement. The base rate is 62.30; increased to 88.13 at UH I, and increased to 91.73 in UH II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model with Dakota props can improve student learning outcomes of class IVA in SDN 67 PekanbaruKeyword : Cooperative learning,dakota props mathematics grade

Abstract

Abstract: The Indonesian curriculum strongly underlines the student-centered scientific approach. Every public and private school has applied learning with a scientific approach. But there is one school that is different from the school in general, namely schools that use the concept of nature as a source of learning. This school has a superior program that distinguishes it from other schools. Qualitative descriptiveresearch aims to determine the implementation of the scientific approach to nature education using data acquisition techniques through observation, interviewing and documentation using data analysis techniques that collect and subsequently reduce data, present data and finally draw conclusions. Five steps in the scientific approach of observing, questioning, trying, thinking and communicating have been carried out in 14 excellent programs. This research is useful to give special researchers insight intonature schools and to motivate teachers to better apply the scientific approach for the next ones.Key Words: Scientific Approach, Nature School

Abstract

One of the factors that influence students' poor results in the subject of the concept of art is the difficulty in understanding the learning content. Students do not understand the background of art and understanding of art. It is necessary for improvement of the learning process. In this study, the improvement of learning the concept art courses will be conducted through quasi experimental study with implementing multicultural learning approach. The learning approach is capable of making students construct their own knowledge, increasing student activity, can improve self-reliance, thinking in a systematic, logical and careful to formulate learning outcomes compatible with the objectives. The study was conducted specifically on the background of the art materials, understanding, functions and types of art. The main objective of this study is to analyze the learning outcome art concept between students who received study with the application of multicultural approach with students who acquire learning in general. The results indicate that there are differences in the average value of the initial test and final test, but not statistically significant difference to the learning outcome art concept between students who obtain application of learning through multicultural approach with students who acquire such learning in general.
