Abstract

This article speaks of the dynamics of the Nahdlatul Wathan Pesantren by analyzing its spiritual, social and cultural capitals. The complex nature of the relationship between one capital and another and how this relationship has become the source of the physical and academic development, is in itself an interesting issue to explore. But the Pesantren is not only the product of this relationship. It is also the product of the system that its leaders have built. The paper tries to analyze these dynamics and the changes it has gone through by employing the social, capital and educational theories. To arrive at the objective conclusion, the paper treats the Pesantren as a social system in which triadic relationship between structure, ideology, and culture is found. As a social system, the Pesantren has also to consider the external forces which it is certainly part of. But it is exactly here that the Pesantren—and any social system in that matter—will find itself in a serious dilemma. How the Pesantren will deal with the external forces will be also the issue that the paper is interested to discuss, albeit briefly.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan menemukan karakter kebangsaan dalam sejarah Nahdaltul Wathan (NW) menurut pendekatan analisis wacana kritis. Data kajian dikumpulkan melalui identifikasi dan pencatatan sejarah NW dalam buku dokumen sejarah NW. Data dianalisis menurut tiga aspek dalam analisis wancana kritis: posisi teks, siapa yang diuntungkan, dan konteks sejarah ketika teks sejarah. Selain tiga aspek dalam analisis wacana kritis, analisis didukung oleh analisis sejarah melalui penafsiran dan pemahaman. Melalui proses tersebut, fase sejarah NW terbagi dalam empat fase sejarah, yakni fase perebutan dan mempertahankan kemerdekaan Indonesia yang ditandai keinginan merdeka; fase mengisi kemerdekaan era Orde Lama; fase mengisi kemerdekaan Orde Baru; dan fase mengisi kemerdekaan era Reformasi hingga sekarang. Teks sejarah NW pada setiap fase diposisikan sebagai tujuan dan alat. Tujuan Indonesia adalah  merdeka, mengisi kemerdekaan dengan kejelasan bentuk negara, membangun bangsa, dan menjadi negara modern. Tentu saja tujuan ini tidak bisa dicapai jika tidak diperkuat dengan instrumen. Pendidikan dan berbagai struktur-insfrastrukturnya adalah alat pembangunan yang harus diperkuat dalam pembangunan pada setiap fase sejarah. NW sebagai khazanah lokal ikut dalam pencapaian tujuan dan alat tersebut. Keuntungan terbesar menjadi milik masyarakat dan bangsa. Masyarakat menjadi komunitas yang difasilitasi oleh pemerintah dan pemerintah sebagai pelayan masyarakat. Konteks Lombok, NTB, dan Indonesia adalah Indonesia yang merdeka, membangun, dan menjadi bagian dunia modern. Disimpulkan bahwa, NW dan Indonesia memiliki kesejajaran sejarah. Proses pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan tindakan moral sebagai proses pengembangan karakter bangsa dapat dilakukan dengan memahami sejarah NW.

Abstract

Perkembangan literasi berbahasa membaca permulaan anak usia dini merupakan salah satu aspek yang harus dicapai oleh anak dalam perkembangannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perkembangan literasi berbahasa membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan menggunakan metode dia tampan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan instrument pengumpulan datanya adalah lembar pedoman wawancara, dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis deskriptif miles Hubberman. hasil yang diperoleh dari penerapan metode dia tampan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan literasi Bahasa membaca permulaan anak yang paling dominan adalah masuk ke dalam kriteria berkembang sesuai harapan, sedangkan yang paling sedikit kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun adalah kriteria mulai berkembang. Faktor pendukung yang mempengaruhi peningkatan ini, dikarenakan proses pembelajaran yang aktif dengan menggunakan strategi dia tampan yang membuat anak serta anak-anak menemukan hal yang baru dan lebih terlihat kesempatan berkomunikasi sesama temannya.

Abstract

Kajian ini memanfaatkan teori metafora dan ruang persepsi berdasarkan ekologi bahasa, dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi metafora siswa sekolah dasar sebagai gambaran persepsi pada ekologi. Data berbentuk metafora dalam puisi berdasarkan persepsi ekologi. Data dianalisis melalui distribusi kategori metafora dan ujud diksi pada ekologi bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, metafora dominan pada ekologi manusia, dan terbatas pada   delapan ekologi lainnya. Kondisi ini menggambarkan interaksi dengan ekologi manusia lebih intens dibanding ekologi lainnya. Abstract

This study aims at finding out the meaning of education and education science in Nahdlatul Wathan Institution in the book “Sejarah Visi Kebangsaan dan Religius: Refeleksi Pemikiran dan Perjuangan Tuan Guru Kyai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid 1904-1997). This study is categorized into Historic Research (the history of education) through critical hermeneutics of some (non) written historic sources. Based on the critical analysis results can be understood that early, Nahdhatul Wathan as educational institution is a tool of social reconstruction through religious education because of the social and political conditions in that time. And the further development, Nahdlatul Wathan Education is not only as a tool but also a final object because of education is considered as a need to accumulate the social development. Nowadays, Nahddatul Wathan Education is understood as a tool and final object. In the science of education, the meaning of Nahdlatul Wathan education as a tool and a final object is supported by some components of education science standard, such as foundation and principles, function, content, objective, method, formal and material objects.          Keywords: Meaning of Education

Abstract

This article tries to map the political competence of legislative candidates and voters. It also attempts to formulate the simulation of the future democracy reality and formulate character education, which could be a comprehensive reference in political education. This becomes impor­tant matter for the democratic process,  which is initiated from a com­pre­­hensive political education based on plausible values and rea­sons. Employing qualitative-phenomenological approach, the re­sults of analy­sis show that the competence of incumbent legislators are low and they are unable to convince the voters. This condition is caused by the failure of political education and the weakness of political system. The emergence of transactional motive among the voters is an effect of the failure of political education.The writer argues that this con­dition should be elucidated through political educa­tion which builds character and guides the voters to vote for the politicians with good morality and ability.

Abstract

This article aims to find a concrete social capital that is important for gender equality development in Muslimat Nahdlatul Wathan (NW) and to find a new reconstruction of gender issue and its relation to social dynamic. The whole process of this research conducted based on ethno- graphic steps. The results shows that reality of gender in Muslimat NW could be reconstructed into four forms; 1) description through educati- onal process; 2) balance role distribution of public domain; 3) gender’ status gets more autonomy in its organisation, and 4) the relation bet- ween man and women individually and organisationally Secondly, the construction model of gender relation in Muslimat NW some strategic social capital: 1) the equality as a social capital; 2) autonomic status as social capital that helps women to get and admission and become more self-directed (independent) and 3) futuristic thinking as a social capital. A dynamic context makes Muslimat NW become more flexible in making decision for their future ogranisation.

Abstract

Domination of gender has occurred in jobs and the ather things in society, in wich these is because of cultural and religion effect (Islam). The same phenomena appear is East Lombok Society, that is patriarchy   and religius. Some last decades domination circumstances (problems) want to be decreased by feminisms through structural approaches. However, those approaches are not so successful, in consequentit is offered the other approaches, that is functional approaches. In East Lombok it is developed IDT Program through group approaches. It will be approved  through this program wether the functional approach in more effect in reducing men domination beyond woman, wich it can be observed participating womwn in IDT Program.

Abstract

This study aims to find the value of nationality in Hamzanwadi's testament. Hamzanwadi is a local figure in Lombok with   global outlook. Testament in the form of rhymes and poetry contain national values, need to be strengthened in the post-national era. The testament understood through the dialectical and hermeneutic methods. Through dialectics and hermeneutics, it is understood that the value of Indonesian nationality regarding Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Republic of Indonesia, and Unity in Diversity. National presence of the four national values is illustrated through the birth of religiousism, faith, piety, justice and prosperity. The results of the discussion focused on the nationality recommended of the post-national era through the transfer of knowledge, strengthening of values, value implementation by all parties and all institutions.
