Abstract

Since 2010 Solo Raya has became part of the metropolis candidates that will continue to grow along with the agglomeration of Jogjakarta and Semarang. The problems that trail is the tendency of metropolitan magnitude that resulted in less functioning of the city as a catalyst for regional development. Further impact is the lagging of small and medium-sized cities (Tjahjati, 1995). The development of urban system is determined by both the comparative advantage and the competitive advantages, such as location, natural resources and human resources (Metropolitan Directorate, 2003), so that in planning the development it should focus on the ability to cooperate or synergize between regions (spatial synergism) either in urban and rural area or on a wider scale, cooperation between cities.The purpose of this research was to arrange aspects and decision criteria in developing metropolitan area of Solo Raya. The method used is literature study approach which is then analyzed descriptively.The result of analysis showed that in metropolitan area of the world there are 4 (four) main characteristics and problems, they are: (1) city as center of population, economy and government activity, (2) city with environmental problems (air, land and water), as a result of population density, public transportation, and garbage, (3) city with problems in the land aspect (land prices and housing provision) and (4) city with problems on social aspects (criminals and terrorists). The formulation of metropolitan area development planning is done with 3 (three) considerations, they are: (1) avoiding high social segregation between and among regions, (2) creating a balance population mobility and intra and inter-regional services (spirit of togetherness), (3) creating a regional economy (growth, equity and welfare) based on the local potential which has inter-regional connectivity (harmonization). Aspects and criteria are: regional management (spatial planning policy, regional competitiveness, regional marketing, inter-regional cooperation), urbanization (migration, urbanization, agglomeration and conurbation, social integration), economic development (economic growth, employment, economic equalization, urban poverty), regional connectivity (transportation, rural-urban linkage, territorial function), and environment (environmental supporting capacity, disaster risk, environmental degradation, disaster mitigation). The decision priorities include: Industrial City, Service City, City of Tourism and Culture, Trade City, and Agriculture.

Abstract

The continued increase in the number of people with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in Indonesia is a serious problem. One of the big problems for people with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is the emergence of complications of diabetic wounds. To date the strategy for treatment of diabetic wounds has been limited to the use of wound dressing, cell therapy and oxygen therapy. The problem is that the strategy is not fully successful. Thus, it is very important to look for new strategies to improve the quality of diabetic wound healing, such as by applying a combination of plasma medicine and local natural product, like the extraction of Daun sirih (Piper betle) leaves. Plasma medicine is a relatively new and multidisciplinary study involving plasma science, biomedical, pharmaceutical and other health sciences aimed at applying plasma to therapeutic health. Plasma is the fourth phase of matter, after the solid, liquid and gas phase. The medical aspects of plasma are related to the ability of plasma to produce biological molecules Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen Species (RONS). If RONS is controlled in the right dosage it can be efficacious for health therapy. This study intends to examine the effects of combinative treatment of plasma medicine and Piper betel leaf extract for proliferation phase of wound healing in diabetic small animal model. This study used male Balb c mice with acute wounds which were divided into 5 groups, namely groups of untreated normal mice (ND-TP), groups of untreated diabetic mice (D-TP), groups of diabetic mice wounds with Piper betel leaf extract (DS ), the wound group of diabetic mice with plasma medicine (DP) and the wound group of diabetic mice with plasma medicine and Piper betel leaf (DPS). The plasma medicine was treated on wound with condition non-contact style (the plasma jet did not touch the wound) with a distance of plasma jet reactor nozzle to the surface of wound about 20 mm, for 2 minutes, every day. Macroscopic observation of wounds is carried out every day from day 0 to 7. On day 7 it was seen that the size of the wound area for D-P-S was smaller than the other groups. The results of this study indicated that Piper betel leaf extract can potentially be used to optimize the performance of plasma medicine in accelerating diabetic wound healing during the proliferation phase. Further investigation, however, is important to be conducted to study the effect for all phases of wound healing and its mechanism histo-pathologically.

Abstract

Abstrak: Diskursus Implementasi Zakat dan Pajak di Indonesia. Diperbolehkannya mengambil zakat pada wajib pajak merupakan kemaslahatan, yaitu guna membiayai pelbagai pengeluaran pemerintah, jika tidak maka akan timbul kemadaratan. Pajak tidak boleh dipungut dengan cara paksa dan kekuasaan, melainkan karena kewajiban seorang Muslim yang dipikulkan kepada Negara, seperti memberi rasa aman, pengobatan, dan pendidikan, dengan pengeluaran seperti gaji para tentara, pegawai, hakim, dan lain sebagainya. Sangatlah positif apabila komponen wajib zakat dan wajib pajak dapat berjalan seiring serta sinergi dalam rangka upaya meningkatkan solidaritas sosial kehidupan berbangsa dan beragama di bumi Indonesia yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kehidupan sosial ekonomi sebagai salah satu daya tuju, baik bagi zakat maupun pajak.Kata kunci:zakat, pajak, sosio-ekonomi

Abstract

Salah satu alat tangkap yang dominan digunakan nelayan Lampulo di Provinsi Aceh saat ini adalah purse seine.Penangkapan ikan dengan alat tangkap purse seine banyak dipengaruhi oleh fungsi-fungsi produksi yang mana untukmengatur pengelolaan. Sehubungan dengan pengelolaan tersebut maka dibutuhkan adanya strategi pengembanganyang akan dikembangkan menjadi perikanan yang ramah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyusun strategipengembangan perikanan purse seine di perairan Lampulo, Provinsi Aceh. Penelitan ini dilaksanakan di perairan Lampulo dengan basis pengambilan data di PPS Lampulo Provinsi Aceh. Waktu penelitian selama 4 (empat) bulan dimulai dari dari bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 2017. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data kondisi perikanan purse seine di PPS Lampulo yang diperoleh berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara langsung terhadap nelayan dan pelaku usaha perikanan purse seine yang terkait. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan strategi terpilih/diprioritaskan untuk mendukung pengembangan perikanan purse seine pelagis kecil di Perairan Lampulo Provinsi Aceh adalah strategi SO dengan opsi strategi : Pelatihan/sosialisasi nelayan terkait teknologi penangkapan yang ramah lingkungan dikarenakan memiliki nilai skor tertinggi (3,01). Sedangkan untuk strategi WO, ST, dan WT menjadi opsi alternatif untuk strategipengembangan perikanan purse seine pelagis kecil di Perairan Lampulo Provinsi Aceh.

Abstract

The utilization of waste heat in a power plant system—which would otherwise be released back to the environment—in order to produce additional power increases the efficiency of the system itself. The purpose of this study is to present an energy and exergy analysis of Kalina Cycle System (KCS) 11, which is proposed to be utilized to generate additional electric power from the waste heat contained in geothermal brine water available in the Lahendong Geothermal power plant site in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. A modeling application on energy and exergy system is used to study the design of thermal system which uses KCS 11. To obtain the maximum power output and maximum efficiency, the system is optimized based on the mass fraction of working fluid (ammonia-water), as well as based on the turbine exhaust pressure. The result of the simulation is the optimum theoretical performance of KCS 11, which has the highest possible power output and efficiency. The energy flow diagram and exergy diagram (Grassman diagram) was also presented for KCS 11 optimum system to give quantitative information regarding energy flow from the heat source to system components and the proportion of the exergy input dissipated in the various system components.

Abstract

La Sangkuru Patau is one of the Arung Matoa Wajo has substantial powers. His remarks could be a law and society Wajo stick to what he says. So when La Sangkuru Patau said that he had converted to Islam, the community participated Wajo also embraced Islam. Arung Matoa Wajo La Sangkuru with doing business in developing Islam in Wajo that bring Datu Sulaiman to provide Islamic religious instruction in public Wajo, then set up a sara officers special charge of handling issues such royal Friday prayers, warnings Islamic holidays , then hold the officer cadre sara that will be placed outside the capital of the kingdom (Tosora), sara officers given the facilities, such as free of taxes, as well as the parallel position to the position of indigenous stakeholders.

Abstract

Religion deals with human attempts to measure the meaning of their own existence and of the universe. Religion can awaken the most perfect inner happiness, the feelings of fear, and horror, although religion directed entirely to the world that not viewable (the hereafter), but religion also involves itself in matters of everyday in this world. Religion is a source of images of the world that it should be; images can repeatedly reinterpreted to evaluate the social patterns of the new even unexpected. Permanence of religion relates to its ability to continuously adjust its highest level descriptions of situations as well as new forms of criticism. Some experts try to give arguments about the existence of religion or relegi of way/different viewpoints that gave birth to the various shades of opinion, but it can be concluded that a persons religiousness is influenced by two factors: external and internal.

Abstract

A dynamic mathematical model for a new structure of precision air conditioning (PAC) has been developed. The proposed PAC uses an additional secondary condenser for relative humidity regulation compared to a basic refrigeration system. The work mechanism for this system and a vapour-compression cycle process of the system are illustrated using psychrometric chart and pressure-enthalpy diagram. A non-linear system model is derived based on the conservation of mass and energy balance principles and then linearized at steady state operating point for developing a 8th-order state space model suited for multivariable controller design. The quality of linearized model is analyzed in terms of transient response, controllability, observability, and interaction between input-output variables. The developed model is verified through simulation showing its ability for imitating the nonlinear behavior and the interaction of input-output variables.

Abstract

Adsorption system is ones of the most effective methods for CO2 separating with other substances that produced from the burning of fossil fuels. In the design for that application, beside of characteristics of porous material (adsorbent) data, CO2 adsorption data on the adsorbent (kinetic and thermodynamic) are also needed. The aim of this research is resulting isothermal adsorption data at pressures up to 3.5 MPa by indirect methods (volumetric method) at isothermal temperature of 300, 308, 318 and 338 K. Adsorbent that used in this research is activated carbon made from East of Kalimantan coals by physical activation method (CO2) which is the surface area of activated carbon is 668 m2/g and pore volume is 0.47 mL/g. Carbon dioxide (CO2) that used in this research is high purity carbon dioxide with a purity of 99.9%. Data from the experiment results then correlated using the Langmuir and Toth equations model. The results showed that the maximum adsorption capacity is 0.314 kg/kg at 300 K and 3384.69 kPa. The results of regression of experiment data using Langmuir and Toth models were 3.4% and 1.7%.
