Abstract

In line with design research, the use of Bermain Satu Rumah (BSR) as traditional  game to support children’s counting classroom wherein students are encouraged to construct mathematical understanding. Number in traditional games is an interesting aspect that is helpful for children to encounter numerous situations that bring them into contact with sounds, symbols and meanings that relate to numbers. Bermain satu rumah as starting activity would be media to enhance student’s sense of number as well as to be used as learning material. By developing  model-of  problem of bermain  satu rumah as traditional context, resultative counting is counting a number of things with the aim of determining how many are there (the result) that can be showed by using addition and multiplication concepts. Student’s thinking on their level exhibited us their successful conservation when they were in the last grade. The progress of understanding by game, especially bermain  satu  rumah, is concrete effort to support number learning in primary school. Using game in learning process, for instance, mathematics learning for primary school can be a mathematics program for young children.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan antusiasme, intensitas aktivitas, dan kecakapan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian tindakan kelas dipilih sebagai jenis penelitian yang berlangsung selama dua siklus. Setiap siklus memuat tahapan diantaranya: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Makassar, dengan subjek siswa kelas II/3 sebanyak 45 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, bukan hanya meningkatkan antusiasme, intensitas, dan kecakapan siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran matematika, tetapi juga membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap materi pelajaran yang diberikan. Secara statistik, persentase antusiasme berubah dari 58,7% (sedang) menjadi 80,7% (tinggi); persentase intensitas berubah dari 46,9% (kurang) menjadi 77,3% (tinggi); persentase kecakapan berubah dari 18,7% (sangat kurang) menjadi 64% (sedang). Kemudian rerata untuk hasil belajar siklus I ke siklus II meningkat dari 8,26 menjadi 8,27. Making this aim, classroom action research is chosen for two cycles. Each of cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. It was held at SMPN 2 Makassar with subject of 45 graders in class II/3. The result shows that contribution of the model, not only to trigger entushiasm, intensity, and competency in which students are engaging with activities of learning mathematics, but to facilitate students improving comprehension about subject matter. Statistically, the percentage of enthusiasm, intensity, and competencies are changing from 58,7% (fair) to 80,7% (high), 46,9% (low) to 77,3% (high), and 18,7% (very low) to 64% (fair), respectively. Subsequently, the average of learning result from cycle I to cycle II increase from 8,26 to 8,27. Abstract

This study aims to understand how far the influence of model of learning creative prob-lem solving (CPS) supported with P2MeL module toward mathematical disposition of students in senior secondary school, and compared with model of direct teaching (DT). This research is kind of quacy experiment in which students of Jurusan Matematika FMIPA UNM as the research sub-ject. The result of research show that unchangeably mathematical disposition in line with learning model is caused by the lack of students’ activeness getting involved in constructing strategic com-petence. The score of mathematical disposition between CPS supported with P2MeL and DT is in the same of middle category, but the score of DT is 57,89% higher than that of CPS with P2MeL module is 42,11%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh model pembelajaran pemecahan masalah kreatif (PMK) terhadap disposisi matematis siswa sekolah menengah atas, dan membandingkannya dengan model pembelajaran langsung (PL). Penelitian ini tergolong eksperimen semu (quacy experiment) dimana subjek penelitian siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak berubahnya disposisi matematis siswa seiring perubahan model pembelajaran disebabkan kurangnya keaktifan siswa untuk terlibat dalam membangun kompetensi strategis. Skor disposisi matematis antara model PMK dan PL secara bersama-sama termasuk dalam kategori sedang, tetapi dengan skor 57,89% yang dicapai oleh model PL mengungguli model PMK dengan skor 42,11%. Dengan kata lain, sebagian besar siswa masih cenderung tertarik dengan model lama. Namun, dengan model PMK justru mampu mendongkrak hasil belajar matematika siswa ditunjukkan dengan besar persentase yaitu 74%, sedangkan dengan model PL sebesar 58,33%.This study aims to understand how far the influence of model of learning creative problem solving (CPS) toward mathematical disposition of students in senior secondary school, and compared with model of direct teaching (DT). In the other words, majority of students tend to be interested in the old one. However, CPS model is really able to boost students’ achievement indicated by the score of percentage, that is 74%, whereas the percentage of DT is 58,33%.

Abstract

Abstrak Penguasaan matematika, pendidikan matematika, dan teknologi bagi pendidik matematika menjadi penting untuk melengkapi kompetensi fasilitator pembelajaran matematika saat ini. Untuk mewujudkan hal ini diperlukan suatu tindakan yang dapat mengarahkan para pendidik matematika pada kompetensi tersebut. Melalui suatu kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, mahasiswa jurusan matematika yang tidak lain calon pendidik matematika mendapat kesempatan untuk dilatih menjadi pengguna teknologi perangkat lunak eXeLearning yang dikombinasikan dengan pengetahuan perangkat pembelajaran matematika dan pengetahuan matematika. Menggunakan model pelatihan yang memadukan sajian teori, praktikum, dan presentasi (STPP), peserta pelatihan diarahkan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis eXeLearning. Melengkapi capaian yang diberikan dengan pelaksanaan model tersebut, perubahan yang teramati terhadap peserta juga diungkap. Hasilnya, pengetahuan dan pengalaman memadukan materi pelajaran matematika, pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika, dan perangkat eXeLearning memicu mahasiswa untuk mengkonstruksi modul pembelajaran matematika interaktif dan kaya informasi. Kata Kunci: Modul Pembelajaran Matematika, eXeLearning Abstract Mathematical comprehension, mathematics education, and technology for mathematics educator become important to complete competencies of mathematics learning facilitator nowadays. To implement this needed an action that can address mathematics educators in that competencies. Through a community service, students of mathematics department instead of candidate of mathematics educators have opportunity to be trained as the users of technology eXeLearning software combined with knowledge of mathematics learning equipment and mathematical knowledge. Using training model that is integrating theoretical material, practicum, and presentation (TMPP), training participants addressed to construct eXeLearning based mathematical learning module. Completing the attainment given in the model feasibility, the change observed into participants is revealed. As a result, knowledge and experience integrated wih mathematics learning material, developing mathematics learning equipment, and eXeLearning software trigger students to construct interactive and rich information module of mathematics learning. Abstract

Latar belakang: Diabetes Melitus merupakan salah satu penyakit degeneratif yang masih tinggi di kota Makassar, berdasarkan data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Makassar diketahui pada tahun 2016 terdapat 4.555 orang penderita Diabetes Melitus. Diabetes Melitus terus mengalami meningkatan di Puskesmas Sudiang, berdasarkan data sekunder yang diperoleh pada tahun 2016 terdapat 136 orang penderita Diabetes Melitus dan pada tahun 2017 meningkat menjadi 220 orang penderita Diabetes Melitus. Aktifitas fisik rendah merupakan salah satu faktor tidak terkontrolnya kadar gula dara penderita Diabetes Melitus.Tujuan: Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya hubungan antara aktivitas pekerjaan rumah tangga dengan kadar gula darah pada Ibu rumah tangga penderita Diabetes Melitus di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sudiang Kecamatan Biringkanaya kota Makassar.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 63 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner PARQ. Pengambilan darah menggunakan glukometer yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 85,7% responden kurang beraktivitas dan sebanyak 71,4%  responden memiliki kadar gula darah yang terkontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara aktivitas pekerjaan rumah tangga dengan kadar gula darah pada Ibu rumah tangga penderita Diabetes Melitus (p=0,649).Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak ada hubungan antara aktivitas pekerjaan rumah tangga dengan kadar gula darah pada Ibu rumah tangga penderita Diabetes Melitus. Sebaiknya bagi Ibu penderita Diabetes Melitus tidak hanya melakukan aktivitas pekerjaan rumah tangga namun menerapkan aktivitas fisik yang baik seperti rutin bersepeda atau jalan kaki 3-4 hari dalam seminggu selama 20 menit setiap harinya dan mengurangi aktivitas duduk. Karena dengan melakukan aktivitas rumah tangga tidak cukup untuk bisa mengontrol kadar gula darah.Kata kunci: Aktivitas pekerjaan rumah tangga, Diabetes Melitus, Kadar gula Darah

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the character values applied and the efforts of Islamic education teachers in shaping the character of students in the State 1 High School in Bima City. This study uses a qualitative, descriptive-analytic approach that analyzes data empirically. This type of research is a case study, while data and data sources in the form of words, behavior, and actions of Islamic religious education teachers. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is used by using an interactive model data analysis component. The conclusions are: First, the application of character values to students has been carried out by the school through intracuricular and extracurricular activities, namely: (1) integrating the values of character education in the subjects taught by the teachers; and (2) holding yasinan (al-Qur'an) together every Friday and scouting. Second, the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping student character, namely: (1) integrating Islamic religious education subjects with national character values; (2) Qur'anic literacy training, religious lectures (Islam) and familiarizing students with prayer in congregation; (3) applying good character in social and interactive relationships.
