Abstract

The aims of research are : (1) to design laboratory based learning, (2) implementation of laboratory based learning, (3) evaluation systems, (4) increasing of achievement and science process skill through laboratory based learning.This research used classroom action research, which is done by SMP Negeri I Pekalongan. This research was done into three cycles, they are cycle I, cycle II and cycle III. The data was collected by observation and test, it was analyzed by quantitative research.The results of research are: (1) lesson plan syntax was arranged by laboratory based learning model into three activities, they are pre activity, main activity and post activity; (2) implementation of laboratory based learning increase student’s science process skill.: (3) evaluation system used multiple choice and essay test, instrument validity test at cycle I, II, and III is about 0, 64 and reliability is 0, 71Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) desain pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis laboratoriun, (3) sistem evaluasi, dan (4) peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains melalui model pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Pekalongan.Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tiga siklus, siklus I. siklus II dan siklus III.Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi dan tes, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif.Hasil Penelitian: (1) Sintak RPP disusun dengan model pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium  dalam 3 langkah kegiatan, meliputi kegiatan awal, inti dan penutup;  (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa;  (3) Sistem evaluasi  menggunakan tes dalam bentuk soal PG dan uraian, validitas instrumen tes siklus I, II dan III sebesar 0,64 dan reliabilitas sebesar 0,71 .Kata kunci: hasil belajar, keterampilan proses sains, pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium.
