Abstract

Adsorbent magnetite-dimercapto-silica (Fe3O4 - DMS) is a synthesis of magnetite with 2,3-dimercapto-1-propanol which has been applied to adsorb anions [AuCl4] - and [Cr2O7]-2. The adsorption process of metal anion [AuCl4]- at pH 5 with a contact time of 100 minutes was found optimum results at an adsorption capacity of 77.58 mg/g and an adsorption efficiency value of 96.975%. While the optimum conditions of metal anion [Cr2O7]-2 after the adsorption process at pH 4 with a contact time of 90 minutes was found an adsorption capacity of 85.0426 mg/g and an adsorption efficiency value of 85.0426%. The adsorption efficiency of metal anions [AuCl4]- is higher than the adsorption efficiency of metal anions [Cr2O7] -2

Abstract

The black water containing humic acid, HA in peat land rural area is a serious issue. This study aims to synthesis of activated carbon, AC from Ilalang Weeds, IW (Imperata cylindrica) as low-cost adsorbent for HA. The success AC synthesis by H3PO4 activator from IW was evidently characterized by Fourier Transform Infra-Red, FTIR and Scanning Electron Microscopy, SEM. The effects of pH solution, initial HA concentration, and contact time were systematically studied to investigate the performance of Activated Carbon from Ilalang Weeds, ACIW. The results showed the increasing of Langmuir monolayer capacity of HA adsorption on carbon from IW before (49.75 mg g-1) and after (56.82 mg g-1) activation process at the pH optimum 6.0. The equilibrium adsorption data fitted with the isotherm model was shifted from multilayer Freundlich model (CIW) into monolayer Langmuir model as the consequences of increasing pore diameter size and active sites intensity. Calculation of adsorption energy by Dubinin-Radushkevich (EDR) model, 0.50 and 2.24 kJ mol-1 for CIW and ACIW, respectively, showed the increasing of physical affinity of HA with the active sites of adsorbent. Adsorption kinetics showed that the adsorption behavior followed the Ho pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The experimental results of this work demonstrate that the ACIW can be used as a promising low-cost adsorbent for HA removal for clean water production in peat land rural area.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran, kemampuan siswa berpikir kritis perlu diperhatikan guna penyelesaian masalahi dalami pembelajaran tersebut. Saatiiniitingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih rendah karena berbagai hal, Contoh orang yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tidak mudah mempercayai informasi, tidak mudah tersinggung dan lebih menimbang baik buruknya terlebih dahulu sebelum mengambil suatu keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan iuntuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan model Inquiri-flipped classroom dan Self efficacy terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian ini imenggunakan desain faktorial 2 x 2 serta tekniki analisis varian (ANOVA) dua jalur. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, angket self efficacy dan lembar observasi sebagai data pendukung. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model inquiry-flipped iclassroom dengan kemampuan iberpikir kritis siswa dengan menunjukkan nilai signifikansii0,003<0,05. iTidak terdapat pengaruhi Self efficacy terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,581>0,05, selanjutnya tidak ada hubunganiiantara model Inquiry-flipped classroom dan Self efficacy denganikemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dibuktikanidengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,623>0,05.
