Abstract

Types of waste issued by industries and communities are organic and non-organic. Non-organic waste can not decompose naturally but it needs human effort to process it by recycling, one of which is plastic waste. The method is the identification and formulation of problems in landfills / TPS and scavengers, then determined the purpose of the study. By literature study and field study can be concluded that the concept of a suitable problem solving is the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Implementation of QFD in this study to determine the scavengers desire in improving the economic level, by distributing questionnaires to scavengers in Malang. The conclusion of this research is that scavengers want to increase their economic level by adding value to plastic waste. The value added criterion in this research is the increase of plastic waste price from ± Rp 6.000,00 / kg to ± Rp 12.000,00 / kg in the form of chopped. Design of product development of plastic waste cutter machine desired by the user / scavengers at an affordable price of 84.33% and in terms of capacity 72.33%, is a machine with a price of Rp 5,500,000.00 and a capacity of 10 kg / hour. Abstract

The problem of waste plastics (especially bottled water brand) and relatively low economic community have a significant impact on the life of the country, and also feared that would contaminate the plastic debris environment, it would seem that negative behavior due to low economic level such as theft, robbery, forgery, trafficking in children, malnutrition, and others.This study aims to identify the scavenger desire in relation to the increase in value of mineral water plastic packaging waste to improve their living standards by the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Method of Value Engineering (VE) was used to obtain the basic functions (primary function) in realizing the desire scavengers who have the technical requirements. Scavenger's desire in the plastic processing waste in this study is able to process the waste plastic in a way that is cheap and efficient. Technical terms on the plastic waste crusher machine developed is about, install and step off, engine capacity, number of components, standard tools, power machines, knife cut, the price of the machine. The knife cut to plastic waste crusher machine there are three options, which made a total of high carbon steel (most expensive), high carbon steel that was inserted on the low carbon steel holder (medium), and a high carbon steel electrode welded on low carbon steel holder (least expensive). The results of 30 scavenger in the city of Malang is the scavenger desire of low-cost machines (83.33%) and the machine capacity is not too large (73.33%). From the percentage of the two wishes are then carried out the product development of plastic waste crusher machine in the price of Rp 3.9 million, crushed capacity of 10 kg / hour.

Abstract

Waste matter plastic (especially former drinking water packaging) and community economic level of relatively low on will be essentially had an impact on their the national and state life, because besides feared plastic garbage is to be pollute environment , will appear negative things due to the economic situation of economic low as, theft, robbery, forgery, of child trafficking, malnutrition, and others. Activities devotion to the community (PKM) this purpose of giving guidance and processing plastic waste by means of enumerated, in relation to the addition of value plastic waste packaging mineral water to improve living standard Officers Garbage Collector (PPS) in Kelurahan Tunjungsekar, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. In implementation of activities PKM this methods used is conducting observations and assistance to the social protection programs, prepared matter, preparation instrument , material, and a required in processing plastic waste that includes: (1) Way election waste plastic to be processed, (2) Election processing , (3) The determination of the type machine used for processing plastic waste. The evaluation will be done to see processing plastic waste run the social protection programs for each the outcome of the activities start first to produce plastic processed. At the end of the implementation of the done placement plastic waste crusher machine scale home in the house of PPS.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk implementasi dan pengujian small PLTS off grid berbasis baterai LiFePO4 sebagai penyimpan energi listrik pada rumah tinggal daya tenaga surya 200 W. Komponen utama pada implementasi small PLTS off grid berbasis baterai LiFePO4 diperlukan modul pendukung yaitu: sensor, controller, charger dan sel surya. Modul baterai yang dipergunakan tersusun oleh 4 sell baterai LiFePO4 yang disusun seri hingga menghasilkan 12 volt, 100Ah, atau 1,2kWh. Sedangkan, modul sel surya terdiri dari 2 module 100 watt peak. Pengujian implementasi ini meliputi pengujian charging dan discharging modul baterai dengan beban. Peralatan pemantau baterai menggunakan battery management system yang dikembangkan menggunakan system Arduino & simulasi dengan LabView yang ditampilkan secara real time. Uji fungsi (charge dan discharge) daya 200 watt pada rumah tinggal diketahui bahwa rata-rata jumlah daya yang tersisa dan tersimpan dalam baterai setelah digunakan oleh beban (5 buah lampu 5 watt dan 1 buah dispenser 175 watt) adalah 347,065842 watt dengan rata-rata penggunaan 11,03 jam/hari untuk lampu dan rata-rata penggunaan 3,57 jam/hari untuk dispenser selama satu bulan pengambilan data. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan energi alternatif matahari dapat berkontribusi untuk mendukung program pemerintah yaitu energi ramah lingkungan dan menghemat penggunaan listrik berbahan bakar fosil.

Abstract

The purpose of opening the gallery is to add distribution channels for MSME products, in order to increase sales. Most of these MSMEs produce products with local raw materials so they play a role in increasing the added value of the area. Currently, gallery operations are handled by the UMKM Association while still implementing traditional store management. After running for more than a year, they are still unable to carry out their functions effectively. This Community Service Activity aims to organize the Gallery's Organizational, System, and Working Procedures. The m Evi Suwarni method of implementing the activities is done by transferring knowledge, simulation, and implementing the gallery's organization, system, and work procedures. Evaluation of participants' understanding was done by distributing questionnaires. The output of this service is an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners, especially in terms of gallery management and the completeness of gallery operational standards. Another outcome is an increase in the competitiveness of partner human resources, who have knowledge and skills in managing galleries, both in terms of organization and work procedures. Store services also become another competitive advantage in the production process, especially consignment sales services.Keywords: system, procedures, organisation, gallery

Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi surya sebagai alternatif bahan bakar fosil untuk membangkitkan energi listrik semakin gencar dilakukan, mengingat dampak negatif berupa polusi dari pembangkit tenaga listrik berbahan fosil. Proses migrasi dari bahan bakar fosil ke energi terbarukan seperti sinar matahari tidak dapat berlangsung instan, melainkan perlu proses yang berkesinambungan melibatkan masyarakat, swasta, akademisi dan pemerintah. Masyarakat dapat diedukasi dengan memberikan sosialisasi dalam bentuk aplikasi penggunaan energi surya yang langsung dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. PJU (Penerangan Jalan Umum) Tenaga Surya adalah salah satu contoh penerangan jalan umum yang memperoleh sumber energi dari sinar matahari, kemudian energinya disimpan dalam sistem baterai. Kebutuhan penerangan jalan umum khususnya di RT 01/RW 06, Jl, Ikan Kakap Malang sangatlah penting. Hal ini karena sistem penerangan jalan umum masih kurang. Pemasangan PJU ditempatkan pada 4 titik strategis mobilitas warga.
