Abstract

 Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang mudah dibuat, praktis, yang sesuai dengan tujuan capaian pembelajaran, sesuai dengan karakteristik dan perkembangan kognitif peserta didik, dan peserta mampu memahami konsep, tata cara membuat serta mampu mengimplementasikan Big Book pada proses kegiatan belajar di kelas. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menerapkan beberapa metode diantaranya adalah In house Training, ceramah dan mentoring. Adapun hasil dari pelatihan dan pendampingan ini melatih keterampilan peserta dalam merancang dan membuat sendiri media pembelajaran Big Book yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan perkembangan kognitif peserta didiknya, menghasilkan Big book yang sesuai dengan tujuan capaian pembelajaran, serta mampu mengimplementasikan Big Book pada proses kegiatan belajar di kelas. Adapun kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pentingnya membuat media pembelajaran sendiri yang dapat disesuaikan dengan capaian tujuan pembelajaran dan karakteristik peserta didik, sehingga pembelajaran yang dilakukan akan lebih bermakna.

Abstract

This research aims describe (1) the form of directive speech acts in the comedy soap operaSegelas Stories Keluarga Kusuma; (2) the function of directive speech acts in the comedy soap opera Segelas Stories Keluarga Kusuma; and (3) the relevance of directive speech acts in the comedy soap opera Segelas Stories Keluarga Kusuma with Indonesian language teaching materials. This research is a descriptive research. The data analysis method in this study used a qualitative descriptive method. The data used in this study is in the form of directive speech in the comedy soap opera Segelas Keluarga Kusuma's story. Data collection techniques in this study used reading and note-taking techniques. The results of this study indicate that 1) the forms of directive speech acts found in the comedy soap opera Segelas Keluarga Kusuma are news sentences, imperative sentences, interrogative sentences, and exclamations. 2) the function of directive speech acts found in the comedy soap opera Segelas Keluarga Kusuma are ordering, criticizing, suggesting, inviting, and prohibiting. 3) The relevance of directive speech acts with Indonesian language teaching materials found in the comedy soap opera Segelas Keluarga Kusuma, namely in terms of language, mental maturity (psychology), and cultural background.

Abstract

This research aims (1) want to know the ability to read poetry in students, (2) want to describe thepercentage of students' poetry reading ability, (3) want to know the factor that affect students reading ability. The subjects in this study were eight in junior high school 1 Batanghari, Lampung Timur. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. The data was collected by using the action test technique, namely the poetry reading test according to predetermined indicators. The research dataanalysis was carried out qualitatively. From the data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the student class VIII ability to comprehend poetry is low with score of 50%. This is caused by several factors, namely internal factors including 1) interests, 2) pleasures and 3) habist, while the influence of external factors include 1) library utilization, 2) reading opportunities, and 3) maximum value.
