Abstract

This study aims to determine the aspects of students' learning difficulties in science subjects in class V at SDN Petapa and to find out the teacher's efforts to overcome students' difficulties in understanding science subjects in class V at SDN Petapa. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 16 students with learning difficulties in science and class teachers. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The data analysis of this research used the Interactive Analysis Model. In obtaining the validity of the data, the researchers conducted a credibility and confirmability test. The results of this study indicate that aspects of students' difficulties in understanding science subjects consist of two aspects, namely internal aspects which include aspects of interest, motivation and self-readiness aspects of students. Next is the external aspect, namely school facilities, teachers and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the teacher's efforts in overcoming learning difficulties in science subjects are diagnosing learning difficulties with the aim of identifying the causes of learning difficulties.

Abstract

Low learning outcomes are a manifestation of various problems that arise from learning activities. Low learning outcomes in science subjects are indicated by results that are below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Based on the results of observations, the method used is in the form of lectures, discussions and practicals, but the results are not optimal. Students tend to be passive, only a few are actively participating in learning. Based on these problems, the author made efforts to improve the science learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN Inpres Dalaka for the 2020/2021 academic year by applying the TGT learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes in science subjects. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that learning science by applying the TGT method could improve science learning outcomes. This is indicated by the difference in pretest and posttest scores. Where the posttest results are higher than the pretest results. This increase is an implication of increasing student learning activities. Students feel more enthusiastic about participating in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika pada materi Fluida Dinamis. Penelitian dilakukan di UIN Datokarama Palu. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan PGMI FTIK smester 4 kelas PGMI 1 tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri dari 6 orang mahasiswa yang dipilih dari 27 orang mahasiswa yang telah mengerjakan soal diagnostic. Enam orang tersebut terdiri dari dua orang dengan kemampuan fisika baik, dua orang dengan kemampuan fisika sedang, dan dua orang dengan kemampuan fisika rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan tes dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan empat kesalahan yang dikembangkan oleh Brodie. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa subjek penelitian melakukan kesalahan appropriate error dan partsial insight.
