Abstract

Uang merupakan alat transaksi yang digunakan oleh sebagian besar masyarakat dunia, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Bagi sebagian orang, melakukan kegiatan jual beli dengan menggunakan uang sangatlah mudah. Namun tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa ada sebagian kecil dari masyarakat yang mempunyai kekurangan dalam penglihatan. Kekurangan dalam penglihatan membuat penderitanya lebih mengandalkan indra pendengaran dan perasa, sehingga penyandang Tunanetra mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenali uang. Tulisan ini membahas tentang alat bantu bagi Tunanetra yang dapat membedakan uang kertas berdasarkan warna RGB dengan menggunakan sensor TCS3200 dan memanfaatkan neural network sebagai pola pengenalan dan pembelajaran warna. Dari uji coba, nilai optimum untuk pembelajaran dengan nilai eror terkecil yaitu nilai learning rate 0.8 dan jumlah node masing-masing pada hidden layer 1 dan hidden layer 2 sebanyak 5 node. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah alat yang dapat digunakan Tunanetra dalam membedakan uang kertas, dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100% untuk uang Rp 20.000 dan Rp 100.000, 93% untuk uang Rp 50.000.

Abstract

Temporary Immersion System (TIS) is one of technologies for plant micro propagation that the plant tissue is immersed temporarily. During the immersion period, the liquid medium is flowed from the liquid jar to the tissue jar. After the certain time, the liquid medium will flow to its jar because the medium jars were placed below the culture jars. This immersion system consisted of five liquid medium jars and five tissue jars that integrated to level sensor. The data of immersion time and periods were recorded in micro SD to make sure that the system worked as time set. In the immersion process testing, the air pressures were varied, 1 bar and 1.5 bar to flow water of 254.5 ml from the liquid medium jars to the culture jars. The pressure of 1 bar could drain the liquid medium from its jar to the culture jar and it caused less bubbles than 1.5 bar did. From the data recorded in micro SD, the time and duration of immersion was the same as time input.

Abstract

One of the tourist attractions in the city of Batam is the tourist village of Pulau Mubud Darat. Mubud Darat Island is separated from Batam Island. On the island of Mubud Darat has a beautiful beach with white sand on the shoreline. However, on the island of Mubud Darat, there is no PLN electricity. The electricity that flows on Mubud Darat Island is still sourced from generators with diesel fuel. Electrical installations on the island of Mubud Darat are also not safe for visitors. This requires large costs for tourism operations both for operations and installation repairs. In addition, to increase the interest of visitors on Mubud Darat island, a good photo spot icon is needed which will later become an icon for Mubud Darat Island. Therefore, lighting is needed from solar panels, as well as repairs to electrical installations on Mubud Darat island. In addition, to create a tourist icon on Mubud Darat Island, a photo spot for the sky door is given which is added with LED strip lights.

Abstract

The outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has forced society to implement the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle, the one which is washing hands. Hand Sanitizer is an alternative product that could be used to clean hands, besides soap, from pathogenic microorganisms due to physical contact that we did throughout the day. However, it’s necessary to upgrade the working system from manual to automatic, so it would minimalize physical contact during the use. For example is by using Sensor Ultrasonic and IR Temperature Sensor MLX90614. These sensors which are connected to pump, will make an electric and automatic working system of Hand Sanitizer. As the methods, literature study and observation from previous researches/products would be the reference for the design and working system on this research. Eventually, it will help to reduce the spreading of coronavirus in society maximally.
