Abstract

Kendaraan tempur menjadi salah satu bagian terpenting dari alustsista Angkatan Darat, hal ini mendorong terciptanya material-material baik Baja, logam ataupun alumunium yang dapat digunakan menjadi material utama dari kontruksi body kendaraan Tempur, bahan baku contohnya baja dipilih karena memiliki sifat yang kuat dan tahan terhadap daya impact yang di hasilkan dari munisi senjata baik senjata laras pendek ataupun laras Panjang, sifat material dari baja tersebut memiliki Densitas/massa jenis yang cukup tinggi yaitu 7760 kg/ sampai 8030 kg/, sehingga dengan nilai densitas/massa yang sangat berat mengakibatkan kurangnya daya jelajah atau kemampuan untuk bermanufer yang baik karena alusista yang harus memiliki daya jelajah yang tingi di segala medan akan menghambat terwujudnya sasaran dari alutsista tersebut, hal tersebut terbentur dengan kemampuan engine pada kendaraan tempur tersebut. Melihat permasalahan tersebut perlu adanya material lain yang dapat menggantikan penggunaan plat baja dengan material komposit Fiber metal laminate menggunakan serat Kevlar Shear Thickening Fluid ( Cairan pengen tal geser ) Untuk menciptakan material komposit yang memiliki kemampuan yang sama dengan Plat baja tetapi dari segi Densitas/Massa Lebih ringan Dan kuat. Hal ini dalam upaya untuk menekan tingkat kerugian personil terluka atau gugur. Dalam penelelitian ini digunakan metode simulasi literatgur dengan menggunakan Software Ansys untuk menganalisa kekuatan bahan komposit menggunakan serat Kevlar/Serat Aramid dan Material plat baja yang telah diberikan treatmen Carburising dan kriogenik dengan memanfaatkan cairan pengental geser ( Shear Thickening Fluid ) pada FML sehingga menghasilkan material yang ringan dan kuat. Kata kunci : Kontruksi body, Material Komposit, Serat Kevlar, Serat Aramaid.

Abstract

Mortar is one type of weapon used by Infantry units. One type of mortar that is widely used, especially in technical training, is the 81 mm mortar prototype produced by PT. Pindad, which has a 7.62 mm caliber munitions thruster with an average range of 110 meters. However, this mortar still has unstable aerodynamics. Therefore, this study was conducted to design a safe mortar prototype with a stability margin value, so it can determine the range and improve the troop skills. Computational fluid dynamic simulation was conducted through the ANSYS software to simulate important aerodynamic properties in this study. The angle variation of the barrel in firing used is 450,550 and 650 with compression pressure variation of 16,18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32 bar. Meanwhile, the angle modification of the mortar fin is 330,440,550 and the aerodynamic simulation was carried out at 20, 30, 40 m/s speeds. The results showed that the design of an 81 mm mortar prototype which has a fin angle of 330 at a simulated speed of 20,30,40 m/s, an angle of attack of 450,550, 650 has the smallest drag force and lift force and the smallest number of postive pitch moments, but still has a standard margin of stability of about 1.57-1.81 caliber.

Abstract

Climate change and limited conventional energy resources have pushed to utilize renewable energy. One of them is the development of household-scale biogas technology from organic waste. This Community Service Study (PKM) aims to document and analyze the socialization process of household-scale biogas applications in Lasah Village, Karangploso District, Kab. Poor. The activities carried out are, socialization about the benefits of biogas, the production process, and the operation of the system. Community involvement from the planning stage to implementation. The impact of socialization is assessed through surveys, interviews and observations of community participation and understanding. The study results show an increase in public understanding of the benefits of using biogas and a positive response to socialization and public interest in adopting this technology. It can be concluded that the socialization of the use of biogas technology on a household scale has been well received. Collaboration between researchers and the community can overcome communication barriers and provide practical guidance on the implementation of biogas technology. Although there is still a way forward in terms of system maintenance and management, this initial step provides a strong foundation for further development. It is hoped that this study will provide valuable insights for similar efforts in other areas, as well as encourage the implementation of sustainable technology for a brighter future.
