Abstract

This study aims to find out relations of college student habbit on the physical education in sport activity with his body mass index. Physical activity are usually done by everyone, as well as college student at physical education. It is familiar. This study was conducted at a time, in 36 students who were all male sex with the age range of 20-24 years old. To known the result from the data will be processed, researchers used an instrument of the questionnaire. The questionnaire was immediately filled by each respondent without given any treatment previously. Category was obtained from the measurement of body mass index between height and weight each respondent. There is only one group in this research, no groups were compared. The method used is quantitative and data analysis using the technique chi square.  The data obtained were then processed with SPSS 21 series. After data processed, the results show there is a significant correlation between both variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between body fat percentage and physical fitness level. This study used a correlational method which was carried out in a cross to link one variable to another without taking so much time. The population in this study was students on the basketball class at the State Senior High School in Ciamis, Indonesia. The samples were 30 students. The data were taken from high school level physical fitness tests and measurement of body fat percentage with skinfold/fat caliper. The data collection and process used SPSS 22 series. The results showed that there was no relationship between body fat percentage and physical fitness level. Based on probability values, if probability> 0.05, H0 is accepted, and if chance <0.05, H0 is rejected. Based on the results of calculations for physical fitness variables with a percentage of body fat (% Fat), the significance number obtained was 0.601, the figure was above 0.05 then H0 is accepted. Thus, although there was a relationship between physical fitness with a percentage of body fat, the link was not significant. Keywords:   Body fat percentage, Physical fitness, and Sports class. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan persentase lemak tubuh dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional yang dilakukan secara cross sectional dengan tujuan untuk menghubungkan satu variabel dengan variabel lain tanpa memperhitungkan waktu. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas olahraga pada cabang olahraga Bolabasket SMA N 3 Kabupaten Ciamis. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 orang. Pengambilan data menggunakan tes kebugaran jasmani tingkat SMA dan pengukuran persentase lemak tubuh dengan skinfold/fat califer. Pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan aplikasi statistika SPSS serie 22. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa tidak adanya hubungan antara persentase lemak tubuh dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani. Adapun ketentuannya berdasarkan nilai probabilitas yaitu : jika probabilitas > 0.05,H0 diterima, dan jika probabilitas < 0.05, H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan pada hasil perhitungan untuk variabel kesegaran jasmani dengan persentase lemak tubuh (% Fat) angka signifikansi diperoleh sebesar 0.601, angka tersebut di atas 0.05 maka H0 diterima. Dengan demikian walaupun ada hubungan antara kesegaran jasmani dengan persentase lemak tubuh, tetapi hubungannya tidak signifikan. Kata Kunci:     Persentase lemak tubuh, Kebugaran jasmani, Kelas olahraga

Abstract

Pembinaan merupakan usaha yang dilakukan dalam rangka mendirikan, menimbulkan, memajukan, dan meningkatkan suatu yang telah ada dan yang telah dicapai. Peningkatan kemampuan penguasaan gerak dalam cabang olahraga bulutangkis perlu diupayakan. Adanya tujuan latihan adalah untuk meningkatkan dan memajukan kegiatan olahraga dalam rangka pencapaian prestasi yang lebih baik bagi setiap atlet. Dalam upaya mendukung harapan tersebut, Universitas Galuh melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah memberikan dukungan berupa pembinaan dengan memberikan berbagai variasi bentuk-bentuk latihan di berbagai teknik dasar gerakan cabang olahraga bulutangkis. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan edukatif. Kegiatan ini diberikan sebanyak delapan kali pertemuan dengan tiga kali latihan perminggu. Pengabdian yang dilakukan telah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan penguasaan gerak setiap atlet. Dengan adanya pengabdian masyarakat ini, kemampuan penguasaan gerak para atlet yang berlatih di PB Mandala semakin meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about: (1) the effect of rolling ball push up exercises on arm to endurance (2) the effect of push up tubing exercises on to arm endurance (3) the difference between rolling ball push up exercises and push up tubing on power hold arm muscles. This research was a quasi-experimental design studied and usesd quantitative descriptive. The population used was regular students who took physical conditioningdevelopment. Totaling 70 experimental group students consisting of 35 rolling ball push-up students, and 35 push-tubing group students. The research sampling technique used subject matched ordinal pairing. The research instrument used was a 1 minute push up. The process of analyzing statistical data uses paired sample t-tests and independent sample t-tests. The results of the study proved that (1) rolling ball push up exercises significantly influenced the increased in endurance of the arm muscles by 0.93%, (2) push up tubing exercises significantly influenced the increased in endurance of the arm muscles by 0.31%. (3) there was no significant difference between rolling ball push up and push up tubing exercised on increased endurance of arm muscles.

Abstract

Upaya untuk menanamkan pengetahuan tentang gizi dalam meningkatkan ketahanan pangan di wilayah Ciamis dengan memberikan penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan pada Komunitas Fitness Ciamis (KFC) berdiri sejak tahun 2019 dan keanggotaannya yang berjumlah 56 orang yang bertempat tinggal tersebar di berbagai daerah seperti daerah Ciamis kota, Baregbeg, Nagrak, Sadananya, Sukajadi, Rajadesa, Panawangan, Kawali, Pamalayan, Handap Herang, Benteng, Imbanagara dan masih banyak lagi anggota KFC yang berada di daerah yang termasuk Kabupaten Ciamis. Dengan demikian penulis berencana untuk melakukan pengabdian dengan memberikan penyuluhan tentang kandungan gizi yang terdapat pada makanan yang dikonsumsi secara rutin. Alasannya bahwa hampir di setiap daerah Kabupaten ada anggota KFC sehingga dapat menjadi perwakilan setiap daerah dalam mentransfer pengetahuan tentang gizi dalam rangka meningkatkan strategi pencapaian ketahanan pangan. Tujuan pengabdian adalah informasi pengetahuan tentang kandungan gizi serta manfaat yang ada pada makanan pokok yang dimakan setiap hari sesuai dengan kemampuan anggota KFC. Karena pengetahuan yang selalu teringat dan kembali diberikan yang pada akhirnya mampu mengutamakan gizi yang seimbang dari hasil informasi yang didapat yaitu pengetahuan tentang gizi setelah mendapatkan berbagai cara dalam menyerap informasi yang sekiranya penting dari berbagai sumber. Urgensi penelitian yaitu seberapa besar pentingnya penelitian ini harus dilaksanakan dan memiliki manfaat yang besar hasil dari penelitian tersebut. Penelitian ini memiliki urgensi yang sangat bermanfaat bagi anggota KFC khususnya dan masyarakat luas di sekitar Kabupaten Ciamis pada umumnya. Karena dengan adanya pengabdian ini diharapkan mampu menyerap informasi tentang kandungan gizi dalam upaya meningkatkan strategi ketahanan pangan dengan mengetahui informasi gizi yang terdapat dalam makanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan one ball overhand dribble between two hands dengan two ball overhand dribble terhadap peningkatan koordinasi mata dan tangan pada siswa putra SDN Bingkeng 2 Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan “pre-test post-test design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa putra SDN Bingkeng 2 Kabupaten Cilacap yang berjumlah 45 orang dan yang dijadikan sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan sebagai pengumpul data adalah tes kemampuan koordinasi mata, dan tangan. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan SPSS 22, hasil pengolahan data terdapat perbedaan namun tidak terlalu jauh secara signifikan antara kelompok latihan one ball overhand dribble between two hands dengan two ball overhand dribble terhadap peningkatan koordinasi mata, dan tangan pada siswa putra SDN Bingkeng 2 Kabupaten Cilacap. Saran: Kedua bentuk latihan tersebut dapat digunakan dan dilaksanakan pada SDN Bingkeng 2 Kabupaten Cilacap dan sederajat.

Abstract

Outdoor sports activities require excellent skills in situations of high physical stress, so physical condition plays a vital role in supporting the success of mountaineering. Objectives; This study aims to test the validity and reliability of the physical fitness and motor fitness components as a reference for determining the optimal physical performance of mountain climbers. Methods; The method used is Research and Development, the participants this 7 mountaineers on 18 peaks for 12 days at an altitude of 3000 MDPL in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The analysis used is content validity and construct validity. Data analysis was carried out, namely the first to sixth steps, namely the stage of developing standard indicators for physical abilities components in terms of physical fitness and motor fitness. The seventh to tenth steps are the instrument development stage. The small-scale test was used as a product development trial to test the validity and reliability of the test instrument. A large-scale test to develop norms and standards for assessing mountaineer's physical abilities test instruments. Result; The components of developing the physical abilities test for mountaineers include physical fitness factors, including cardiorespiratory endurance fitness (Balke test), muscular strength and power (jump decathlon test), muscular endurance (wall squat test), flexibility (Static Flexibility Test – Hip and Trunk), body composition (BMI and % fat content). Motor fitness factors include speed (running 35 m speed test), agility (hexagonal obstacle test), coordination (Hand and eye coordination test), balance (standing stroke test), and reaction time (whole-body reaction). Conclusion; the physical abilities component of mountaineers has a substantial correlation value, and the test instrument can be used as an evaluation method to measure mountaineers' physical and motor fitness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the contrast training method on physical conditions consisting of power, flexibility, agility, and balance. The research method used is experimental. The research design is a one-group pretest-posttest design is the research design used. The population used is the PGPI Paragliding Athletes in Ciamis Regency, totaling 15 sons, ranging in age from 16 to 20 years. The sampling technique is total sampling. Instrument test consists of vertical jump test, static flexibility test-shoulder & wrist, zig-zag test, and flamingo balance test. The results showed that the data from the vertical jump test results showed a significant increase in the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Static flexibility test-shoulder & wrist a significant increase proved the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the zig-zag test data showed a significant increase in the significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the flamingo balance test data showed a significant increase in the significance value of 0.028 < 0.05. Conclusion. A better and more appropriate contrast training method is given to paragliding athletes in Ciamis Regency. For coaches of physical condition to be able to apply the contrast training method by prioritizing training program innovations so that the physical condition of the athletes is getting better, especially their needs during matches.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much body fat percentage in male and female students of the Ciamis Regency Public High School 3 basketball team. To the objectives of the study above, the author uses survey methods using test and measurement techniques. The population of this study was male students and female students of SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis Regency totaling 30 people consisting of 15 boys and 15 girls. The research instrument used to collect the data was the measurement of fat percentage using a skinfold tool. Based on data analysis using SPSS series 22, the results of data processing are as follows: 1. The lowest description of fat measurement data in men was 16.50 and the highest description of fat measurement data was 37.90. The lowest fat measurement data description in the princess was 19.20 and the highest fat measurement data description was 35.60.2. The normality data for the female is 0.938 > 0.05 and the normality data for the male is 0.729 > 0.05 meaning that the data for the male and female are normally distributed, 3. The body fat percentage value for the girls was 26.55% while the body fat percentage value for the boys was 26.01%. The results showed that the measurement of body fat percentage in male and female students of SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis Regency was included in the excess category of the norm, namely 15-20% of the normal category for boys and the norm of 20-25% of the normal category for girls.
