Abstract

Around the world, including Indonesia is experiencing attacks of epidemic disease caused by corona virus widely or commonly referred to as a pandemic. It is to be a factor that the public should be more concerned about sterility and hygiene in terms of any kind including objects or goods that are used. Sterilization is a process of killing all forms of life are microorganisms that exist on the objects around the particular environment. One of the steps to pensterilian by utilizing ultraviolet light as a disinfectant to kill the bacteria or virus. Development of boxes of sterilization with the use of UV-rays based on arduino and utilize the android app as a system of control without touch where the device utilizes a of the luminous radiation of ultraviolet rays which have been studied and proven to inhibit the growth of bacteria. Box sterilization using ultraviolet light is able to mensterilisasikan objects before or used without the use of direct touch by hand to clean the objects with the size with a p: 35cm, l:15cm and t:>5cm for 10 minutes.

Abstract

News or news about the weather becomes a common necessity at this time, because many activities depend on weather conditions. Weather news that is commonly used daily is temperature, humidity, and rainfall. In this weather monitoring process utilizing IoT as a concept whose purpose is to expand the benefits of continuously connected internet connectivity, and also users can build their own information network including building their own weather monitoring system that can be used in the desired local area, which is used to observe weather conditions in residential or local areas, Because there is often a difference in weather between one area and another.From these problems came the idea to create a tool "Design Miniature Weather Stations For Monitoring Rainfall, Temperature and Humidity of Local Area Air Using IoT (Internet of Things)" based. This tool utilizes sensors that can detect precipitation, sensors that can detect temperature and humidity and components that can monitor the weather when we are anywhere far away and anytime. In this study the system used arduino uno microcontroller that serves as a device that activates all components, such as hall effect sensor, DHT22 sensor, RTC DS3231, Wemos D1 Mini ESP8266, LCD, I2C, DC Converter LM2596, where this device can connect microcontroller devices such as Arduino Uno with the internet via WiFi hotspots.

Abstract

Advances in technology today have provided many benefits in the use of electronic equipment that makes it easier for humans to carry out their daily activities. In the Industrial revolution 4.0, the first progress that can be felt is the internet of things or IoT. Iot has an important role in Industry 4.0, because it can connect everything to the internet network. Iot (Internet of Things) can be used in gardens to control garden lights and check temperature and humidity that can be operated remotely via the internet. This system utilizes sensors that can detect the amount of light intensity resistance that is used to turn on and off lights based on light intensity, sensors that can detect temperature and humidity that can be controlled and monitored from anywhere and anytime. In this study, the system uses a nodemcu esp8266 microcontroller which functions as a device that activates all components, such as the dht11 sensor, ldr sensor, 2 channel relay and led lights. This system uses a telegram application that functions as an application for controlling lights and checking temperature and humidity which is accessed from a smartphone connected to the nodemcu esp8266 microcontroller via a wifi network. The results of the trials carried out on all the features showed the results as expected.

Abstract

Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat alat monitoring suhu pada gunung - gunung aktif dengan menggunakan sensor LM35 sebagai sensor suhu pada objek yang diteliti, Arduino sebagai pemrosesan data dan memanfaatkan teknologi Internet Of Things (IOT) sebagai sarana informasi secara cepat dan akurat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode prototype. Alat ukur ini dibuat menggunakan modul Arduino ESP6288 yang diprogram dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman C dan komputer sebagai antarmuka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat ukur yang dirancang dapat mengukur suhu pada sistem dapat memberikan informasi suhu pada LCD, Internet Of Things (IOT) secara tepat dan akurat.

Abstract

In a shrimp farming area, several things appear. Where shrimp farming jobs still use traditional methods or work manually so they need a lot of time. Shrimp farming is an entrepreneur with long production results, so hereby collect some of the main problems experienced by shrimp farmers. The author conducts research to support businesses to operate effectively, efficiently and practically. It is known that shrimp farmers have little difficulty in maintaining feed. Therefore, the authors designed a feeder and water turbidity monitor that can work automatically based on the feeding schedule and the level of water turbidity. This shrimp feeder and water turbidity monitor uses the WeMos D1 R1 microcontroller which is the main control center, uses the Blynk application to control the tool, and uses servo motors, sensors, filters and other components. By using these components and some software that supports the tool, shrimp feeders and water turbidity monitors can work automatically according to a predetermined schedule, and are able to send notifications to Blynk when the tool finishes the work process

Abstract

The room security system design uses finger print and a matrix keypad with One Time Pad (OTP) in the Dean's room, Faculty of Engineering and Computers at Universitas Harapan Medan because it still uses conventional security. With security that is not always maintained, especially outside working hours, the authors make a room security system design to open the room only with registered fingerprints and programmed active telephone numbers, so that it cannot be accessed by others. This design is made with several components, namely Arduino as a data processor for the entire work system, the fingerprint reader functions to recognize the fingerprints to be registered, to enter the OTP code using the matrix keypad, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) to display the data provided by Arduino through the program. that has been made, the relay is used to activate the solenoid, the solenoid functions to open or lock the door, the buzzer will sound when the fingerprint and password are not read, the GSM SIM900A module functions to send an OTP code using an active cell phone number, and the MC-38 magnetic sensor to know if the door is open or still closed. From this test it can be concluded that only the fingerprints of people who have been registered and the telephone numbers that have been programmed to be able to open the door of the room. If the fingerprint pattern is not registered then an alarm will sound

Abstract

The problem that is often faced today is when we travel out of a room and we forget to turn off electronic devices in the room which results in a surge in costs that must be paid for wasteful use of electronic goods, in this modern era many ways can be done to make automatic system that aims to help human work, in this system the author makes a system that can save electricity usage. By using the PIR sensor to detect movement, and if there is movement inside the room then the electronic goods will live and, if the user wants to use power without having to turn off automatically, then the user can use the RFID card to be affixed to the electronic goods will continue to live until the card is removed from the RFID module, and the buzzer will sound if the user attaches the card to the RFID module incorrectly, to make it easier for the user to see the current conditions, then install the LCD to make it easier for the user to know the current condition.

Abstract

Kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan di dusun Tambak Bayan Desa Saentis bertujuan melakukan pelatihan kepada remaja-remaja masjid Al-Bayan. Jadi penggunaan teknologi bukan hanya digunakan di perkotaan saja, tetapi target jangka panjangnya penggunaan teknologi juga merambah ke desa-desa. Dimana teknologi yang digunakan tersebut dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tujuan dari pelatihan tersebut yaitu untuk memberikan soft skill kepada remaja masjid sehingga mereka mempunyai kemampuan untuk membuka usaha di bidang desain grafis, pelatihan desain grafis menggunakan corel draw. Dimana peserta pelatihan diajarkan bagaimana membuat logo menggunakan corel draw. Diharapkan dengan adanya soft skill ini remaja masjid Al-Bayan dapat mengembangkan kemampuannya di bidang desain grafis sehingga mereka dapat membuka usaha di bidang desain grafis tersebut.

Abstract

ABSTRACK In its development, the essay exam features become an obstacle, because the increase in the number of students and the number of examinations results in the teacher taking the time to assess the answers to the exam questions. In general, the answer correction system for essay answers is done manually, so the use of e-learning and without e-learning in terms of time efficiency there is no difference. Therefore, an automatic assessment system is needed on essay examinations to accelerate the process of evaluating student answers. Automated essay scooring is an automatic scoring system by comparing two answers and then calculating the results of a comparison using an existing algorithm. One algorithm used is the Jaro-Winkler Distance algorithm, which is to measure the similarity between two strings. In this research, an automated essay scoring system integration is based on the Jaro-Winkler Distance algorithm, so that with an automated scoring essay system, it can help the teacher in the essay answer correction process. The results of the system testing show, the assessment of the answers generated by the system is influenced by whether or not there is a key term in the answer sentence. The more different the number of words in a sentence between teacher and student, the smaller the resulting value. If a student's answer sentence has a key term distribution which is the same as the teacher's answer key then the resulting value is also higher.

Abstract

The UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) design is a design carried out to improve the branding of an online store to get a lot of attention from the public so that it can get a bigger share. UI/UX is one of the technological developments that can take advantage of digital means to introduce a product to be offered to customers. This research is intended to help improve the branding of a store, and to find out the performance of the website after using the UI/UX. It is hoped that the UI/UX design on the Lab.Scarpe website can improve the branding of the website and make it easier for users/customers to transact on the website.
