Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui metode dan prosedur dalam menerjemahkan onomatope dari Little Abid Seri Pengetahuan Dasar yang terdiri dari delapan judul buku. Metode penerjemahan yang dipakai secara berurutan dari yang lebih banyak dipakai adalah metode semantik (17) dan metode komunikatif (5). Prosedur penerjemahan yang dipakai secara berurutan dari yang lebih banyaknya digunakan adalah prosedur kesepadanan fungsional (17) dan modulasi (5). Disarankan agar penerjemah agar dapat menggunakan metode penerjemahan adaptasi yang membutuhkan kreativitas dalam mengolah kata-kata dalam bahasa sasaran agar pembaca anak-anak dapat mendapatkankan lebih banyak manfaat dari membaca buku cerita anak dwi bahasa.

Tujuan dari analisis tuturan Lara Pangkon upacara temu manten masyarakat Ngantang guna mengetahui makna eksplisit dan makna implisit tuturan. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan sumber data tuturan dalam Lara Pangkon, yakni data tulis dan data lisan. Pemerolehan data melalui observasi, wawancara, simak catat, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara: (a) transkrip dan penerjemahan data, (b) klasifikasi data, (c) analisis data, dan (d) penarikan kesimpulan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 15 tuturan yang dianalisis merupakan 7 tuturan eksplisit dan 8 tuturan implisit. Masyarakat Kecamatan Ngantang menggunakan tuturan bermakna implisit selain warisan nenek moyang juga merupakan petuah atau nasihat dalam kehidupan.

Analyzing the speech of Lara Pangkon in Ngantang this study aims to determine the forms of speech acts, explain its meaning and how the delivery of this speech. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, and narrative in Lara Pangkon as a primary source as well as the book the documentation as the source of secondary data. Acquisition of data through observation, interview, check out the note, and documentation. Data processing techniques are as follows: (1) a transcript and translation of the data, (2) the classification of the data, (3) data analysis, and (4) the exposure of the conclusion of the study. The end result of this research is there are 2(two) speech acts expressive, 2(two) said follow the directive, 2( two) speech acts assertive and 2( two) speech acts komisif are delivered with obvious can be delivered in a concise and straightforward and each speech act are said illocutionary.

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan melatih para guru membuat media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint. Sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah action research yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi/refleksi. Adapun mitra dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah para guru MI Roudlotul Ulum Mojosari sebanyak 12 orang dan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) hari. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu sebanyak 83% dari jumlah peserta mampu membuat media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint secara tuntas. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini dapat memberikan dampak yang baik karena peserta (guru) telah mampu meningkatkan softskill dalam mengoperasikan komputer atau laptop diantaranya dapat membuat media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint. sehingga media pembelajaran yang telah dibuat tersebut dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah.

Literary work, especially film, gives life a lot of inspiration. Movie makes the reader aware that the story that happens in a movie is a reflection of a real life. Characters are people in narratives, and characterization explains things done by a character. Moreover, there are several reasons why the writer studied characterization of the main character in “The Social Network” Movie Script, First, the writer is interested in studying literature about movie, this movie has remarkable characters. Second, this movie can give inspiration to all people about fight against arbitrariness and peacefull campaign. Statements of the research problem are: 1) What is the physical appearance of the main characters? 2) How is the personality of the main characters? 3) How is the social status of the main characters? 4) How is the social relationship of the main characters? The purpose of this analysis is to explain: 1) the physical appearance of the main characters, 2) the personality of the main characters, 3) the social status of the main characters, 4) the main characters’ social relationship. The approach used in this analysis is qualitative research, the research data are all phrases and dialogs between characters in the film that are linked to character characterization. The results of this research show that the main characters Loung Ung and Pa/ Mr. Ung have made a great contribution to the plot. Characterization is about the physical appearance, personality, social status and social relationship of the main characters. Loung Ung’s physical appearance are little girl, slender build, average hair, caramel skin. Pa/ Mr. Ung physical appearances are average build, male, moon shape eyes, and caramel skin. Both of the main character have brave personalities, love and care, and love the whole family. For the social status they are moderate family and live in apartement in the city . Pa/ Mr.Ung is well educated person because he is an officer. Pa/ Mr.Ung has a good social relationship with the people surrounding, but Loung Ung doesn’t have a good social relationship with the people surrounding her because she is passive.

Penelitian ini menganalisa tuturan Lara Pangkon pada upacara temu manten masyarakat Kec. Ngantang guna mengetahui bentuk- bentuk tindak tutur, menjelaskan maknanya dan bagaimana penyampaian nya. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan sumber data penelitian ini adalah tuturan dalam Lara Pangkon sebagai sumber data utama dari dan buku dokumentasi sebagai sumber data tambahan. Pada hasil akhirnya penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tiap bentuk tuturan yang disampaikan berisikan makna dan simbol yang mengandung tindak tutur. Setelah dikaji bisa disimpulkan dari ke 2 (dua) bagian posesi Lara Pangkon tersebut, tuturan yang dikemukakan baik oleh Pamasrah maupun Panampi tersebut terdapat 3( tiga) tindak tutur ekspresif, 3( tiga) tindak tutur direktif, 3( tiga) tindak tutur asertif dan 2( dua) tindak tutur komisif yang disampaikan dengan jelas dapat disampaikan secara ringkas dan lugas. The bilingual children story books have distinctive characteristics, one of them is having onomatopoeia. This qualitative descriptive study aimed to determine the translation method and procedure used in translating onomatopoeia and word play in Little Abid Series in spiritual and general values (11 books) and Seri Dongeng Dunia Binatang (7 books). In Little Abid Series in spiritual and general values the onomatopoeias or word play were expressed in the book Jujur Itu Hebat (1), Aku Bangga pada Mereka (1), and Aku Rajin Mengaji (1). In Dongeng Dunia Binatang they were expressed in the book Bebek dan Burung Hantu (2), Semut dan Lebah (1), and Rusa yang Sombong (2). The translator of Little Abid Series and translator of Dongeng Dunia Binatang in translating onomatopoeias and word play used semantic method and functional equivalence procedure because the translators wanted to emphasize the understanding of the early age readers by using words that are simple and easy to understand. Therefore, the researchers suggests that the adaptation translation method can be used to translate children’s books since in order to give maximum benefit to the readers. It means that the translators must be more creative in arranging words in the target language.

Karya sastra diyakini sebagai media dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Karya sastra juga dapat menumbuhkan motivasi membaca, menulis serta meningkatakan ketrampilan berbicara siswa dalam mencapai keberhasilan akademik. Puisi, Prosa dan drama sebagai karya sastra bisa dikatakan memiliki andil besar dalam mengembangkan kompetensi literasi siswa. The purpose of developing illustrated vocabulary animation game media for kindergarten – A students at Pelita Kasih Lawang Kindergarten is that early childhood can concentrate and understand the content of the material so that they are able to repeat simple words with correct pronunciation. Early childhood is also expected to be able to repeat words that have been listened to friends and teachers. Researchers compiled an animated vocabulary game media developer pictured in learning English, by making a Research and Development (R&D) development research design, which is research used to produce certain products, and test the validity of these products. This Research and Development procedure is an adaptation of Sugiono's theory (2011 : 297), namely : 1) Potential and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Product Design, 4) Design Validation, 5) Usage Trial, 6) Product Revision, 7) Product Trial, 8) Design Revision. Product Trial, 8) Design Revision. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative analysis in the form of percentages. The results of this research and development obtained are : 94.44% of the learning expert validation results, 96.15% of the media expert validation results, 91.11% of the small group trial results, and 95.68% of the field trial results. Based on these results, the development of animated media in language learning is classified as feasible to use. Based on the validation results, observations on small group trials and field trials, it can be concluded that the development of animated media in language learning is very interesting, fun, and easy to use. It is hoped that the results of the development of animated media in language learning can be developed even better, more effective, and right on target. So that it can be utilised according to the needs and achieve the goals of early childhood language learning.

As a product of creativity, slang continuously raises in society used to mark social and cultural differences. This study aims to discover terms of slang used by the community of public transportation drivers in Kacuk Malang, the process of its formation, the meaning it refers to, and the purpose of its usage. Qualitative design is used as the research method by using the following steps in collecting and analyzing data. The observation was done to gain information about using slang in conversation among public transportation drivers and followed up by interviewing ten drivers. The study found that Slang was used for a variety of purposes. Initially, as their code language. As a language for jokes, second. Third, they use Bahasa Jawa (Javanese language) as words or supplementary language to keep the discourse fresh and further demonstrate their Kacuk community identity. Fifth, as a way to get to know one another better. The final one was for their regular discussions.
