Competition in the business world has created stiff competition between agencies and each other. Because of the high level of sales of fashion products, it can provide benefits for the company. Abstract

Comics are literary works whose story descriptions are displayed in the form of pictures and in the story there is one character who is favored. The division of comics into genres is less effective, because the words represent inappropriate genres. Therefore we need a system that can determine the genre of a comic automatically due to the many genres of the comic. This study uses text mining and TF-IDF for the process of determining the comic genre. Text mining can be defined as the discovery of new information that was previously unknown to computers by extracting automatic information from different sources. Meanwhile, resource data is used as a reference in determining the comic genre. In this study, comics were divided into 4 categories: horror, inspirational, mystery and romantic. The text entered is in the form of title, author, and synopsis. This synopsis will be processed to produce a comic genre. The first process is the process of document preparation and document selection. Then proceed with the word weighting process using TF-IDF, then determining the genre of comics is done by comparing the similarity value between the text and a node in the resource data. The text obtained will be classified in an existing genre or node, if it has the highest similarity value in one of the nodes in the data resource. It is hoped that the system to be built is in accordance with the expectations of researchers, so that the system to be built can determine the genre of a comic.Keywords: Classification, Comic, Text Mining, Resource Data, TFIDF

Abstract

Of the various functions that exist in a company engaged in the business world, the function of marketing or marketing functions is a very vital and strategic function for the company concerned. The rapid development of the business world, accompanied by increasingly intense business competition, has actually strengthened the position of the marketing aspect of this vital and strategic position, Sales are the jobs most needed by the company, these 10 specialties, total vacancies for sales are 19%, followed by financial default by 18%, while IT / communication amounts to 13%. Job vacancies as sales are widely available, but lack of interest, therefore companies find it difficult to find employees in the sales department The COPRAS method assumes a direct and proportional dependence on the level of significance and utility of the alternatives in the presence of conflicting criteria. This takes into account the performance of alternatives with respect to different criteria and also the weight of the appropriate criteria. This method chooses the best decision considering the ideal and ideal solution - worst. The COPRAS method used here for decision making in the manufacturing environment adopts a six-stage procedure ranking and evaluates alternatives in terms of their level of importance and usefulness. The COPRAS method has the ability to take into account positive (favorable) and negative (unfavorable) criteria, which can be assessed separately in the evaluation process. The most important feature that makes the COPRAS method superior to other methods is that it can be used to calculate the level of alternative utility that shows the extent to which alternatives are taken for comparison

Abstract

Comic is a work of art that is designed using a collection of still images and is complemented by a text or story. Comics are a reading book needed by children and teenagers alike. In comics, apart from the interesting content of the stories, there are also moral messages embedded in each story. However, with the development of technology, there are many comics whose stories do not educate teenagers' characters, starting from pictures and no more educational moral messages embedded in the stories. The solution drawn from this problem is by designing an Android-based comic application that can be easily accessed and understood by the public, especially teenagers. However, due to the limitations of smartphone applications to present comic episodes, string matching is needed to search for comic titles. The string matching algorithm is a string matching algorithm that looks for a string consisting of several patterns (characters) in a large amount of text. For android-based comic applications, it is designed using the Crochemore-perrin algorithm

Abstract

The photo is made into a visual recording that has historical value or a memento. However, many memorable photos no longer look good and have noise due to the effectiveness of nature such as the evaporation of liquid that is around the image, it can also be dust or water on the surface of the image, besides that the noise can also be caused by plastic and paper materials that contained in the place where the image is stored as a photo album. For noise caused when taking digital images from camera devices can be in the form of a smoke or light coil that causes the image display is not clear. When the process of capturing RGB images often encountered noise such as black spots. Noise can be improved with several image enhancement techniques such as smoothing, leveling, and convolution. One of the improvements in noise in digital images can be done with Homomorphic filtering Method. Image improvement using the Homomorphic filtering method followed by Butterworth Filtering is part of the discrete fourier transform algorithm which confirms a concept that is rarely used to improve RGB images. Abstract

Philosophy is a critical thinking framework to find solutions to all problems. The solution found to overcome a problem through critical thinking is the fruit of philosophical thinking. If the solution to a problem is not thought out carefully and critically, then it is not the fruit of philosophical thinking but only the sound. Philosophy is useful to achieve a better life, especially in a job so that you can understand the reason why the order in a job must be carried out. In understanding philosophical terms generally use foreign-language scholarship because the term philosophy is the absorption word from English, namely philosophy. While the word philosophy itself is an absorption word from the Greek language. In Greek the combination of the word philo means love and sophós, which means wisdom makes a special word, philosophia, which means love wisdom. To learn the term philosophy is very difficult, especially for ordinary people. Based on this research the author designed the Android-based Philosophy application using eclipse juno and sqlite as the database. To facilitate the search process the meaning of philosophical terms in the application the author applies the Approximate string matching algorithm. Approximate algorithm (Estimated string matching) is a problem in computer science that is applied in text search, pattern recognition and signal processing applications. For the text T [1..n] and the pattern P [1 ... m], we are expected to find all occurrences of the pattern in the text with the most edit distance is K. The edit distance between two strings is defined as the minimum number of character insertions, deletions and the replacement needed to make it the same. The results expected in this study is an application that implements the Approximate Algorithm so that the process of searching quickly in the application can help the user to more easily understand philosophical terms.Keywords: Application Philosophy, Android, String Matching, Approximate Algorithm.

Abstract

At this time the use of computer device technology has developed rapidly and the community. Most people use it not only for commercial purposes, but also to get information on disease detection quickly and efficiently with a computer-based application that can help the general public to find out the causes and symptoms of the disease. for that, a system is needed to imitate the expertise of an expert in answering questions and solving problems in accordance with the knowledge of an expert who is entered into a computer system. The development of artificial intelligence technology that has occurred has made it possible for expert systems to be applied to detect disease using programming languages. One of them is in providing information about various problems, especially Vasculitis. The expert system method used is a Variable Centered Intelligent Rule System (VCIRS) used to handle diagnosing vasculitis. With the facilities provided for users and administrators, allowing both users and administrators to use this system according to their individual needs. Users are given ease in knowing information about Vasculitis disease, its causes and deterrents. Abstract

A rice milling machine is a machine that is used to facilitate the work of farmers to separate rice grains from their skin while maintaining the quality of rice and minimizing the loss of yield that often occurs in the process of rice formation which is done manually to get quality production. Expert systems can be used to help people solve problems that are usually resolved by experts. The difficulty of the community in finding an expert or understanding experts causes expert systems to be needed by one of them in the industrial field. The limited knowledge in identifying damage that often occurs in rice milling machines often makes it difficult for machine users to repair. This system is built to predict damage to rice milling machines using the application of the Naive Bayes method. This method is able to be the solution to the above problems because Naive Bayes are able to predict opportunities in the past. This system is created by taking data from one of the rice refineries consisting of damage data, and the symptoms which will then be entered into the naïve Bayes formula, in order to find more accurate results.

Abstract

CorelDRAW X3 merupakan salah satu aplikasi yang dipelajari pada pelajaran maupun mata kuliah desain grafis. Adapun dengan banyaknya tool dan fungsi menubar yang terdapat pada aplikasi CorelDRAW X3 menjadi salah satu kendala tidak tercapainya target belajar pada pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu tambahanan jam pelajaran konvensional juga dianggap tidak efektif. Untuk mengatasinya penulis memberikan ide berupa merancang aplikasi pembelajaran CorelDRAW menggunakan metode web based learning untuk jam tambahan dirumah sekaligus menghemat waktu. Keberadaan metode pembelajaran berbasis web (WBL) dirasakan sangat membantu menyelesaikan target belajar CorelDRAW X3 dan menghemat waktu karena proses pembelajaran bisa dilakukan dimana saja yang masih terhubung dengan internet. Melalui aplikasi pembelajaran CorelDRAW X3 ini menggunakan metode web based learning ini diharapkan bisa membantu guru ataupun dosen maupun pelajar ataupun mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan target belajar dan membantu menghemat waktu. Selain itu aplikasi ini diharapkan bisa membantu orang-orang yang ingin belajar CorelDRAW X3 secara otodidak.

Abstract

The Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) is an advocate organization referred to in law number 18 of 2003 ("Law No.18 / 2003") on advocates namely that PERADI is the only forum for a free and independent advocate profession formed in accordance with the provisions of the law this invite. In the election of PERPC Medan DPC chairman, it was still done manually by means of the selection process first. Therefore a decision support system is designed so that the selection is more effective and accurate. Decision Support System is made by applying the VIKOR method. The system created will provide recommendations for the selection of candidates for the PERADI DPC Chair in Medan by involving five criteria, namely discipline, commitment, leadership, broad-minded and ethical with five alternatives. By using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 for the design of decision support systems and Microsoft Access 2016 as a database. This research can provide convenience to PERADI Medan in making decisions on the selection of candidates for the PERADI DPC chairman in Medan and provides objective and accurate results in the decision to elect the candidates for PERADI DPC Chair in Medan.
