Abstract

Employee data is information that is very confidential because it contains important information about employees and their institutions. Computers are currently the main component in the company that is able to store data, speed up work, improve the quality and quantity of services, simplify the transaction process, and others. But in terms of computer security still has several loopholes that allow a person or group to easily retrieve data or information on the computer. To avoid data theft and manipulation, a security system must be implemented. Cryptography is a study of how to change information from normal conditions / forms (can be understood) into a form that cannot be understood. One method that can be used to secure messages / information is the DataEncryption Standard (DES). The application of the DES cryptography algorithm in securing Civil Servants data shows that this algorithm can generate encryption that cannot be understood by humans and produces the exact decryption of the initial plaintext input

Abstract

Before performing prayers, Muslims must first take ablution water. So far, the provision of ablution water from mosques and prayer rooms is almost 100% using a faucet that is turned manually, sometimes it is troublesome and water is often wasted (wasteful). Therefore, the purpose of this research is to build a prototype automatic ablution water controller in the form of developing a system with an Arduino-based ultrasonic sensor. The tool that is built based on the prototype will be able to issue ablution water automatically and stop automatically, depending on the limb that is brought close to the end of the pipe that will discharge the water. This monitoring works by using an ultrasonic sensor, where the object under the sensor becomes the input. The ultrasonic sensor will be connected to the Arduino microcontroller which is useful for running this system, which provides information on the relay to activate the mini water pump and release water. So it can be concluded that this system is able to help control the use of ablution water to be more efficient.

Abstract

Ramayana Department Store is one of the companies engaged in the business of retail supermarket. The company uses computer science technology applied in servicing activities, particularly in the sales data storage. Sales data is the information generated from sales transaction activities that obtained by the company through marketing activities to make profits. The use of computers in storing sales data is used to improve data security so that the valuable information can be confidentiality guaranteed. To avoid data theft and data manipulation,we need to implement a security system. Cryptography is a science that uses mathematical equations to keep the information secure such as data confidentiality, data validity, data integrity, and data authentication. A method that can be used to secure messages / information is the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The application of the AES cryptography algorithm in securing the sales data of the Ramayana Department Store shows that the algorithm can make encryption that cannot be read or understood by humans and make decryption that exactly same with the initial plaintext input. The difference of the key and the size of a file also affecting the time required to perform the encryption and decryption process
