Abstract

The research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of integrated Natural Science learning by using a scientific approach-based module to improve students? creative thinking Skill at substance pressure concept. The module was developed by employing a 4D model by Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel (1974) with one group pretest-posttest design. The research involved 30 students at SMP Negeri 2 Luwuk, particularly in class VIII A2 and its instrument was creative thinking skill test adopted and composed from a test developed by Hu, Weiping (2002) and Panjaitan (2014). The instrument comprised 3 indicators which were thinking fluency, thinking flexibility, and thinking originality. It used average normalized gain as analysis. The finding of research showed that the result of the normalized N-gain test differed in each of creative thinking indicator. The values of N-gain for an aspect of fluency was 0.58 with a medium category, for an aspect of flexibility was 0.57 with medium category and for an aspect of originality was 0.13 with a low category. In brief, the average value of N-gain for all creative thinking indicators was 0.42 with a medium category. To conclude, the finding confirmed that the integrated Natural Science learning by using scientific approach-based module was effective in improving students? creative thinking skill at substance pressure concept.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an effective STAD cooperative model physics learning tool to improve high school student learning outcomes on Static Fluid material. This research refers to the Kemp's development model. The results showed that the results of the development of physics learning tools were feasible for use in high school physics learning with the following results: The syllabus got a score of 3.49 (valid), the learning implementation plan got a score of 3.31 (valid), the student teaching materials got a score of 3, 46 (valid), student worksheets get a score of 3.33 (valid).

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa , bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang berkualitas dengan mengguankan model inkuiri terbimbing, perangkat yang dikemabangkan menggunakan model 4D. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah  dikembangkan berkualitas. Perangkat pembelajaran dikatakan layak untuk digunakan dengan sedikit revisi, berdasarkan hasil rata-rata validasi dengan nilai 3,4–3,6, tingkat keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang mencakup ranah kognitif diperoleh N Gain iRat 0,52, dengan kriteria N gain sedang, ranah sikap dengan rata-rata presentase sebesar 80,89% serta rata-rata presentase pada ranah keterampilan 84,04%, hasil pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik 3 kali pertemuan sebesar 79,44% kriteria baik. Tingkat kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran dilihat dari presentasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran selama 3 pertemuan sebesar 86,67%, serta angket respon guru dan peserta didik terkait penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran selama proses pembelajaran daring mendapatkan respon positif. Kata kunci: hasil belajar; pengembangan 4d; inkuiri terbimbing. ABSTRACTThe research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tapa , aimed at producing quality learning tools using a guided inquiry model, a device developed using a 4D model. The results showed that the learning tools that had been developed were of high quality. The learning device is said to be feasible to use with a slight revision, based on the average validation results with a value of 3.4–3.6, the level of effectiveness of the learning device seen from the increase in student learning outcomes that include the cognitive domain obtained N Gain iRat 0.52, with N criteria are moderate gain, attitude domain with an average percentage of 80.89% and an average percentage of 84.04% in the skill domain, the results of observing student activities in 3 meetings are 79.44% good criteria. The level of practicality of learning tools seen from the presentation of the implementation of learning for 3 meetings was 86.67%, as well as the questionnaire responses of teachers and students related to the use of learning tools during the online learning process received a positive response.. Keywords: Learning outcomes; guided inquiry; 4D development

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 kabila Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 pada kelas X IPA dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif yang signifikan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan video dengan implementasi blended learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada konsep gerak parabola di SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dengan proses pembelajaran campuran (blended learning). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pada desain ini akan diberikan perlakuan setelah diberi perlakuan (posttest) dengan nilai ketuntasan siswa (KKM). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas data, uji hipotesis, uji N-Gain, dan effect size. Teknik pengambilan sampel didalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling kelompok dan dilakukan secara acak. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa soal essay. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diketahui harga thitung ≥ ttabel yaitu 6.49 ≥ 2.03, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari perlakuan yang diberikan (posttest)  dengan nilai ketuntasan siswa (KKM). berdasarkan analisis dari N-Gain dan effect size, diperoleh nilai N-Gain 0.60 dengan kategori sedang. Untuk nilai effect size yaitu 1.90 dengan interpretasi strong effect. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat konsistensi dari perlakuan yang diberikan (posttest) terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing; video; hasil belajar; blended learning. ABSTRACTThis research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila for the Academic Year 2021/2022 in class X Science and aims to determine the significant positive effect of using a video-assisted guided inquiry model with the implementation of blended learning on student learning outcomes on the concept of parabolic motion in high school. During the covid-19 pandemic with a blended learning process. This research uses an experimental method. This study uses the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this design, treatment will bi given after being treatment (Posttest) with student completeness scores (KKM). The data analysis technique used is data normality test, hypothesis testing, N-gain test, and effect size. The sampling technique in this study used group sampling technique and was carried out randomly. The research instrumen used was essay questions. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that the price of tcount ≥ ttables is 6.49 ≥ 2.03, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect of the treatment given (posttest) with the student’s completeness score (KKM). Based on the analysis of N-gain and effect size, the N-gain value of 0.60 is obtained in the medium category. The effect size value is 1.90 with a strong effect interpretation. This shows that there is consistency in the treatment given to student learning outcomes. Keywords: guided inquiry; video; learning outcomes; blended learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of crossword puzzle learning media with discovery learning models on student learning outcomes on the concept of sound waves. This research is a quasi-experimental type of research using one class (one samples) only the experimental class using the One Group pretest posttest design. In this study, learning was conducted three times online with the discovery learning model. The instrument used in data collection is an essay test of learning outcomes. The method used to analyze the data is descriptive analysis technique, namely normality test, hypothesis testing with a significance level of 5%. Based on hypothesis testing using parametric statistics t test obtained tCalculate (5.789 > ttabel (2.024) with a significant level = 0.05. where hypothesis one (H_1) is accepted. This shows that there are differences in student learning outcomes before and after learning using learning media crossword puzzle with the discovery learning model. This result is also shown from the increase in student learning outcomes on the posttest test which is higher than in the pretest test with an average value of 76.03% and 65.71%. Thus the use of crossword puzzle media with the discovery learning model affects the results student learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the discovery learning model assisted by android-based crossword puzzle media in order to see the improvement in the concept of physics. This increase can be seen from the results of the validity of the instrument whether or not the instrument used is feasible. This research method is development research (Dovelopmental Research) with the development design  which consists of (1) instructional problems, (2) learner charity, (3) task analysis, (4) instructional, (5) content sequencing , (6) instructional strategic, (7) instructional delevery, (8) evaluation instruments, and (9) instructional response. The results obtained through two validator experts, the validated device was included in the very valid criteria, so it could be concluded that the instrument was very suitable for use.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of how the influence of learning using problem based learning models through blended learning assisted video on the concept of elasticity and hooke law to the learning outcomes of students in high school 2021/2022, in class XI IPA odd semester 2021/2022 with one class as an experimental class. The method used in this study was pre-experimental with the design of One Groups Pretest-Posttest. Data collection of learning results is done based on the assessment of test results. Analysis of research data using, hypothesis tests and n-gain tests. Based on hypothesis testing, the calculated price of class XI IPA 2, 9.68 where for the table price for the three classes is Class XI IPA 2,779, H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. This shows that learning uses a problem based model assisted by video. Judging from the average pretest and posttest grades of students from experimental classes, it can be concluded that there is an influence on problem based learning models through blended learning assisted video on students' learning outcomes on the concept of elasticity and hooke law with n-gain high criteria.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi suhu dan kalor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di kelas VII6 SMP Negeri 1 Telaga yang diajarkan kepada 34 orang siswa. Instrument yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh pada siklus 1 kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mencapai 59% termasuk kategori tidak kritis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penelitian tindakan kelas pada siklus 1 belum mencapai ketuntasan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dengan dilakukan tindakan pada siklus II kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mencapai 80% dengan kategori sangat kritis. Dan untuk hasil analisis data aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa pada siklus II telah mencapai peningkatan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan e-learning berbantuan media pembelajaran edmodo terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi gejala pemanasan global, yang dilakukan di MAN 1 Kota Gorontalo pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan menggunakan kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai sampel penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksprimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis berupa pretest dan posttest, data yang terkumpul dilakukan uji n-gain dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada posttest adalah 64 sedangkan pada pretest adalah 17 artinya nilai posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai pretest sehingga terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar. Sedangkan nilai n-gain yang ternormalisasi adalah 0.637 dan termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji “t” berpasangan diperoleh thitung sebesar 31.22 sedangkan nilai diperoleh sebesar 2.03951. Dengan demikian thitung > ttabel sehingga Ho : ditolak dan Hi : diterima. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah menerapkan e-learning dalam pembelajaran fisika berbasis al-quran pada konsep gejala pemanasan global

Abstract

This study aims to find out the students’ learning outcomes in the application of e-learning through the use of WhatsApp-assisted Edmodo in the concept of sound waves. In addition, students' responses to the treatments given were also observed for the sake of evaluation. This research used a quasi-experimental research design carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The subject of the research was class XI IPA 8 consisting of 20 students. Tests were administered to students to obtain data of the students’ learning outcomes. The data collected were then analyzed by using normality test and statistical t-test. Based on the research results, it is known that the t-value (5.53) is greater than the t-table (1.72), so H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. It means that there is a significant positive effect of using whatsApp-assisted edmodo on learning outcomes in the concept of sound waves. It can be seen from the difference of mean score between the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the increase in students’ learning outcomes on the concept of sound waves is in the strong effect category.
