Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran Resource Based Learning terhadap kemampuan menulis drama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Cikembar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIC yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Random Sampling dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-PosttestDesain menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen tanpa ada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil observasi beberapa siswa belum mengetahui unsur-unsur drama, struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan drama. Model pembelajaran Resource Based Learning merupakan solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami oleh siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kemampuan menulis drama siswa setelah diberikan treatment mengalami peningkatan dengan pemerolehan gain  sebesar 774,7 dan rata-rata 27,66. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan  pemerolehan Thitung = 14,11 TTabel = 2,052. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Resource Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap  peningkatan kemampuan menulis drama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Cikembar.Kata kunci:  Menulis, Teks Drama, Model Resource Based Learning. Abstract. This research is a quantitative research which aims to examine the effect of the Resource Based Learning learning model on the ability to write plays of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Cikembar. The subjects in this study were students of class VIIIC, totaling 28 students. The sampling technique uses Random Sampling with the design of the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design study using one experimental class without any control class. Based on the results of observations, some students do not know the elements of drama, the structure and rules of linguistic drama. The Resource Based Learning learning model is the right solution to overcome the problems experienced by students. The results showed that students' ability to write plays after being given treatment increased with the gain of 774.7 and an average of 27.66. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Thitung = 14.11 TTable = 2.052. So it can be concluded that the Resource Based Learning learning model has an effect on improving the writing ability of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Cikembar.Keywords: Writing, Drama Text, Resource Based Learning Model.
