Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis manajemen mentoring terhadap volunteer yang magang di Politeknik Perkeretaapian Iindonesia dan di SMPN 1 Mijen Demak. Manajemen mentoring merupakan kunci sukses dalam kegiatan mentoring, akan tetapi manajemen mentoring yang sudah di laksanakan oleh mentor di PPI Madiun dan di SMPN 1 Mijen Demak mengalami beberapa kendala diantaranya: 1) komunikasi antar mentor dan volunteer yang belum berjalan efektif, 2) persiapan mentor yang kurang optimal dalam menjalankan kegiatan mentoring selama program EVS berlangsung, 3) pelaksanaan kegiatan mentoring tidak berjalan maksimal, 4) kegiatan evaluasi program hanya sebatas follow up kegiatan. Hal tersebut juga mengakibatkan manajemen mentoring yang diterapkan kurang berjalan dengan optimal dan mengalami beberapa kendala bagi volunteer yang magang di PPI Madiun dan di SMPN 1 Mijen Demak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil angket yang telah dibagikan kepada taruna tentang testimoni kepuasan keberadaan volunteer yang menyebutkan bahwa 87,76% dari 36 taruna merasa senang dan puas dengan program volunteer. Manajemen mentoring yang di impelementasikan oleh mentor yang sudah bermitra dengan Dejavato, yaitu di PPI Madiun dan di SMPN 1 Mijen Demak kurang berjalan dengan efektif. Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to analyze management assistance for volunteers working in the Indonesian Railways Polytechnic and in SMPN 1 Mijen Demak. Mentoring management is the key of success in mentoring activities, but mentoring management that has been carried out by the mentor at PPI Madiun and at SMPN 1 Mijen Demak has several obstacles: 1) communication between mentors and volunteers that has not been effective, 2) the work of mentors who lack mentoring optimal in carrying out activities during the EVS program, 3) the implementation of mentoring is not running optimally, 4) the evaluation program was not effective, it was just follow up in the end of program. This also requires that the mentoring management that has been implemented in both school PPI Madiun and SMPN 1 Mijen Demak is less and not well prepared for volunteers who has been working in PPI Madiun and in SMPN 1 Mijen Demak. This research method uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study can be concluded that 87,76% from 36 cadets are satisfied with the volunteering program. The management of mentoring carried out by mentors who had worked in PPI Madiun and in SMPN 1 Mijen Demak was not running effectively

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penerapan metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran life skill menjahit program paket C di UPTD SKB Susukan Kabupaten Semarang. Mengetahui kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran life skill menjahit program paket C di UPTD SKB Susukan Kabupaten Semarang. Mengetahui upaya-upaya untuk mengatasi kendala dalam metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran life skill menjahit program paket C di UPTD SKB Susukan Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif sedangkan subjek penelitian adalah 3 warga belajar 1 tutor dan 1 kepala UPTD SKB Susukan. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi menjahit kejar paket C di UPTD SKB Susukan yaitu Identifikasi kebutuhan warga belajar, mempersiapkan demonstrator, ruangan yang yang digunakan cukup memadai, persiapkan tutor dalam memberikan materi sudah baik, mempersiapkan warga belajar, terjadinya tanya jawab, dan publikasi hasil demontrasi menjahit dilakukan pada even karnaval, pameran maupun kepada pengunjung di UPTD SKB Susukan. Kendala yang hadapi diantarannya kurangnya perhatian dan konsentrasi beberapa warga belajar pada pelaksanaan demonstrasi menjahit,  terdapat mesin jahit yang rusak belum diperbaiki sehingga warga belajar harus bergantian dalam praktek menjahit dan ruangan yang kurang memadahi. Solusi untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut dengan melengkapi dan memperbaiki  peralatan yang kurang memadai. Menyajikan pembelajaran semenarik mungkin sehingga perhatian dan konsentrasi warga belajar bisa terfokus pada pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract. Character education for early childhood is intended to instill moral values that are useful in successful learning at the next level of education and become good habits when they are adults. Character that has been formed from an early age will affect the appreciation and practice throughout children life. In educational practice of early childhood education, however, the learning methods used are often less focused on developing character education than the development of cognitive academic abilities. As a result, early childhood education produces students who have high cognitive abilities but are not balanced with good character. This study aims to describe and test the effectiveness of Montessori method in character education in early childhood education using descriptive research method. The objects are teachers at early childhood education institutions involving 112 respondents. The results show that Montessori Method-based learning that emphasizes the importance of independence and self-improvement activities in building life skills to improve students’ intellectual abilities has proven effective in early childhood character education.

Abstract

The three profiles of the graduates of the Physics Education Study Program at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang are expected to be Physics Educators for Secondary Education, Physics Researchers, and Entrepreneurs. However, the facts on the ground are not so, so it is necessary to evaluate the curriculum. The purpose of this study is as an initial research for curriculum evaluation with a focus on the study of conceptual models and assessment of the implementation of the IQF curriculum. The approach used is Mix Methods with Qualitative and Quantitative design. The sample of this study was 100 alumni who graduated in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Data collection used a questionnaire via google forms for tracer studies, direct interviews with alumni and FGDs that presented expertudment to assess the weaknesses of the IQF curriculum. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study resulted in several recommendations for Expert Judgment including; 1) The new curriculum is able to accommodate MBKM policies with various schemes offered, 2) Redesign the curriculum according to its content and the needs of the current world of work, 3) It is necessary to study several courses in order to follow the hierarchy and prerequisites of previous courses, 4) Review back The CPL of SKS courses that are too large such as Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism, 5) Elective courses should be submitted to lecturers who support the profession/entrepreneur, 6) Adding courses that can introduce students to technology-based learning, 7) Adding an elective MK that provide special skills and in accordance with current developments, especially in the field of entrepreneurship
