Abstract

ABSTRACT: The available teaching materials, especially on the homology materials are still limited to the knowledge, not yet emphasized on the process, so some students become passive, and this certainly influences the learning outcomes. Homology deals with organs that have different structures, but they have the same function. This is very much happening around us, for it is very necessary to be discussed and demonstrated so as to maximize student activity. One of the solutions offered is the development of STAD-based teaching materials combined with guided inquiry. Through STAD students can discuss various matters related to homology in the surrounding environment, while through guided inquiry students can demonstrate homology, and certainly better understand the process from formulating the problem, formulating goals, formulating hypotheses, determining data collection, taking data, analyzing up to conclusion. This will certainly improve the mentality and self-confidence of the students. The purpose of this study is to develop STAD-based teaching materials combined inquiry on guided homology material. The type of this research is Research Development using model design of Dick & Carey and Paulina & Purwanto in Paizah (2011). The instrument used in the form of a questionnaire is then analyzed descriptively. The developed teaching materials contain; pre-introduction, introduction, summary, evaluation, and closing. Expert content validation results about 80% content presentation and 85% content presentation with good category, while material expert validation about material feasibility is 90% and material presentation is 87% with very good category. Individual test result of 88,17% with very good category. For that it is concluded that; The development of teaching materials with STAD method combined with guided inquiry on homology material is suitable for use.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the Make A Match method on the activities, interests, and learning outcomes of class VIII students of MTs Darussalam Bermi West Lombok. The population in this study were all eighth-grade students of MTs Darussalam Bermi, while the study sample was 58 students. Class VIII C as the experimental class and class VIII D as the control class. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research instrument used was an observation sheet to obtain data on learning activities, questionnaires for learning interest data, and tests for student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis of student activity data in the control class, an average value of 71 was obtained with the active category, while the experimental class obtained an average value of 78 with a very active category. The average learning interest of students in the control class is 36.39 with a less high category, then in the experimental class, the average student interest is 45.73 with a fairly high category using the Make A Match method. Analysis of student learning outcomes data obtained an average value in the experimental class of 82.4 with the highest value of 100 and the lowest 72, while the average value of the control class was 76.1 with the highest value 88 and the lowest value 64. Based on the results of the t-test obtained t count is 17.43 and t table is 1.67, because tcount ≥ ttable, then there are differences in activities, interests, and learning outcomes using the Make A Match method in class VIII students of MTs Darussalam Bermi. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Make A Match method on science learning outcomes of class VIII students of MTs Darussalam Bermi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menyempurnakan model yang sudah ada. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Program PBAK Berbasis Keluarga di Prenggan kurang maksimal. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari beberapa indikator, yakni: pertama, partisipasi stakeholders sangat minim khususnya partisipasi pemerintah lokal dan organisasi pemuda, partisipasi secara aktif hanya dilakukan oleh relawan, dan partisipasi pasif dari keluarga sasaran. Kedua, keberlanjutan program terkendala pada pemahaman pemerintah lokal yang rendah, minimnya kuantitas dan kualitas sumber daya manusia, finansial yang masih belum mandiri, tidak ada kebijakan yang mendukung program dari pemerintah lokal, dan regenerasi relawan KPK di Prenggan yang tidak berjalan semestinya. Dengan demikian, alternatif pengembangan model yang peneliti tawarkan adalah model implementasi program partisipatif dan berkelanjutan. Kesimpulan ini didasarkan pada persoalan utama model yang sudah ada, yaitu program bersifat parsial karena tidak ada pendampingan secara berkelanjutan, dan juga rendahnya partisipasi stakeholders. Abstract

The problem that happened in MTs NW Darussholihin Wassyakirin is creative thinking skill and cognitive learning result of student is still less satisfactory, proved by the value of MID semester under KKM (Criteria Completed Minimal). This is because the learning process is not effective because the use of methods or learning models that are not effective. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of CPS (Creative Problem Solving) model of creative thinking skill and students' cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi experimental research with pretest postest control group design research design. The instrument used in this research is the observation sheet of learning implementation (RPP), test of creative thinking skill and test of cognitive learning result of the students. Data collection techniques are observations and tests, while data analysis techniques are descriptive and t-test. The results showed that the data presentation of creative thinking skills of students in the experimental class is 85.33 with very high category while the result of cognitive learning posstest students get the average value in the experimental class that is 80.83 and the control class is 78.67. The result of study posttest showed that the average learning result of the students in the experimental class and the control class were 86 and 76. Based on the t-test analysis with separated variance formula with 5% significant, student learning result obtained tcount of 2,581 and ttable value of 2.048, means tcount is greater than ttable value (2.581 > 2.048) so that (Ho) is rejected (Ha) accepted. Based on these results can be concluded that the model of learning CPS (Creative Problem Solving) effect on student cognitive learning outcomes, and average creative thinking skills achieve high categories.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of the use of learning methods of Index Card Match on the motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students SMPN 4 Jonggat. Learning by using the method of learning Index Card Match expected high motivated students in learning allows to obtain high learning results as well. Through this application can also make it easier for teachers to improve thinking and increase student involvement in teaching and learning. The type of research used in this research is quasi experiment, this design has control group, but not fully function to control the variables that influence the experiment implementation. The experimental class was treated using Index Card Match learning method while control using conventional method. To obtain the necessary data, then in this study using t-test analysis techniques. From the results of the study, based on the results of experimental class hypothesis testing and control class using t-test obtained tcount of 0.13 and ttable of 2.12. This means that the value of t is smaller than the value of ttable or 0.13 < 2.12. This indicates that Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted, hence there is influence of Index Card Match learning method toward motivation and student cognitive learning result.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research are: 1) To know the influence of problem solving model based on contextual problem solving ability class VII SMPN 04 Kopang, 2) To know the influence of contextual model based on contextual learning of cognitive learning grade VII SMPN 04 Kopang. Research this study is Quasi experimental, with the design used is pre-test posttest nonequivalent control group design. Sampling technique used saturated sampling, so the class VIIA with the number of students 27 people as experimental class and class VIIB with the number of students 27 people as a control class. The research instrument consisted of data of problem solving test result in the form of test essay and cognitive learning result of the student in the form of multiple choice test. The data analysis technique of this research use the teded-t polledvarian for student problem solving and t separatedvarian-t test for students' cognitive learning outcomes. The result of research are: 1) Obtained average score of problem solving ability of experiment class problem is 49 is in good category and control class is 34 is in less good category while result of t test is t-count> t-table (24,28> 2,000), then Ha accepted Ho is rejected, (2) Data cognitive learning results obtained t-count> t-table (3.248> 2.056), then Ha received Ho is rejected, thus can be concluded that: 1) There is influence using problem solving model based on the contextual ability of problem solving students, 2) There is influence of using problem-solving model based on contextual to student cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Learning Problem Based Learning Model to cognitive learning outcomes of students of class VIII SMPN 3 Jonggat Student Year 2016 / 2017. Type of research used in this study is Quasi Eksperimen.Rancangan research in this research is Only Post- test Control Goup Design and research sample that is class VIII A of 23 people as experimental class and class VIII B as many as 23 people as control class using observation sheet to know the result of cognitive learning. Technique of data analysis using T-test, from result Test of research hypothesis got result of calculation of post-test for titung equal to 8,85 and ttable value equal to 2,042 with error level 5% and dk = n1 + n2- 2 = 18 + 19 - 2 = 35 ie amounted to 2.042. So from the results of the calculation seen t count> ttable 8.85> 2.042 which means Ha accepted and Ho rejected so that it can be said that there is influence of learning model Problem Based Learning on student cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Worksheets that have been applied in schools make students less develop scientific abilities. The worksheet used seems monotonous, using a colorless image, so it looks less attractive. LKS is only given for students to do, without having to guide students in solving problems found in LKS, and the LKS does not contain what students have to do such as observing, analyzing, synthesizing, solving problems because there is no guidance for conducting experiments and scientific attitudes . So as to make students less able to think scientifically in learning, for that applied Experiment-Based Biology Worksheets where experimental-based biology worksheets can improve student activity. The research objective is to apply biological worksheets to improve students' scientific abilities. The instrument in this study is the lesson implementation observation sheet (RPP) and scientific ability test sheet. The results showed that the results of the implementation of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) with a value of 90% in the excellent category, the results of scientific ability tests on students who have scientific ability in the very scientific category 1, critical 4, less scientific 15, and in the category of very lacking scientific 1. While the results of scientific ability tests in the very scientific category 3, and scientific categories 18, less scientific 0, and very less scientific 0. The results of the study can be concluded that experimental-based worksheets are effective in improving the scientific ability of students in SMPN 3 Kuripan Year of Learning 2017/2018.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Prediction Guide berbantuan Mind Mapping terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VII SD SMP Negeri SATAP 2 Lingsar. Jenis penelitian ini Quasi Eksperimen (eksperimen semu). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif dengan bentuk rancangan Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan sampling jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 17 siswa untuk kelas kontrol dan 17 siswa untuk kelas eksperimen. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil pada siswa kelas sampel dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, angket motivasi dengan jenis tertutup yang terdapat pernyatan positif dan negatif, dan tes hasil belajar kognitif dengan jenis pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 soal. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar kognitif pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Data angket motivasi dan hasil belajar kognitif yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t, hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa motivasi kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol, untuk uji-t motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh t hitung 10,55 sedangkan t tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% 2,04 sehingga t hitung > t tabel maka Ha diterima. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen yang diberi strategi pembelajaran Prediction Guide berbantuan Mind Mapping lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol, dan untuk uji-t hasil belajar kognitif siswa t hitung 6,39 sedangkan t tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% 2,04 sehingga t hitung > t tabel maka Ha diterima. Dengan demikian strategi pembelajaran Prediction Guide berbantuan Mind Mapping berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VII SD SMP Negeri SATAP 2 Lingsar.

Abstract

Based on observations in class VIII MTs Arrahmah NW IPA Pringgarata in the leraning process, indicating a lack of ability of the students in disclosing information obtained during the learning process, not the task of writing well-structured and less communicative language and do not lead to a fundamental question that needs to be conducted to determine the effect of the strategy used. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the heuristic learning strategies to the communication skills and cognitive learning science (biology) student of class VIII MTs Arrahmah NW Pringgarata. This research is a quasi experimental population of all eighth grade student totaling 44 students spread in two classes. Sampling was carried out with saturated sampling techniques, data collection techniques used were observation and tests. The data analysis of the percentage of communication skills in students of class VIII A at the first meeting of 78.12% with skilled category and 87.5% in the second meeting with the highly skilled category. Based on the results of hypothesis test, it obtained that t-count (2.38) greater than the price of the t-table (1.68). This shows that the heuristic strategies affect the communication skills and the cognitive learning science (biology) in class VIII MTs Arrahmah NW Pringgarata.
