Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the CTL model was effective in improving the narrative essay writing skills of grade 6 elementary school students. The research design used was a Quasi experimental study. Based on the results of research conducted, it is known that the pretest data of the experimental and control classes are normally distributed and homogeneous. The pretest t-value is smaller than the t-table price (-0.081 <1.647) and the significance (0.935> 0.05), meaning that HO is accepted. This shows that there is no difference in the average score of narrative essay writing skills between the control class and the experimental class at the time of the pretest. Posttest t-count value is greater than t-table price (2.153> 2,000) and significance (0.036 <0.05). Ha was accepted and HO was rejected. Ha accepted means that there is a difference in the average score of narrative essay writing skills between the control class and the experimental class, ie the average experimental class is higher with a mean difference of 0.1552. Large increase in the experimental class can be seen in the average normalized gain of 0.357 or included in the medium category, while the control class 0.209 included in the low category. The effectiveness of the CTL model is expected to be a consideration for grade 6 teachers to apply the CTL model to Indonesian language learning with other aspects or material.

Abstract

The issues raised in this study relate to the ability of students to write literary works, especially in writing drama scripts based on short stories. Through the ability to write drama scripts based on short stories is expected to improve students' abilities in the field of literature in particular can change the short story into a drama that is as good as possible. This study aims to describe how the level of students' abilities in writing drama scripts based on short stories. To achieve the above research objectives, the authors use quantitative descriptive methods, with the sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. The assessment indicators are: (1) theme, (2) figure, (3) setting, (4) flow, (5) dialogue, (6) language, (7) creativity. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the students' ability in writing drama scripts with seven indicators as a basis for assessment, the results or the average score obtained was 75 The score was obtained from the calculation of the number of acquisition scores.

Abstract

Drama learning material in Indonesian language lessons is one part of the literary aspect. The ultimate goal of learning is that students are required to be able to compose drama texts in their own style. This certainly requires a high understanding for students to be able to analyze the structure, characteristics and elements that are specifically contained in a drama. The purpose of this study is to describe how the ability to write drama texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Bandar Lampung. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of this study can be described as follows. The ability of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Bandar Lampung in writing drama texts is categorized as sufficient.

Abstract

This study contains the ability to determine the grammatical meaning of sentences in class V Even Semester State Elementary School 2 Gunungrejo Pesawaran Academic Year 2020/2021. Determining the grammatical meaning in the sentence under study includes several aspects, namely: 1) Paying attention to word affixation (affixation); 2) Pay attention to the repetition of language units in whole or in part (Reduplication); and 3) Pay attention to the combination of two or more words in forming words (composition). This study aims to determine and describe how the level of student ability. To achieve this goal, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method, while the data collection technique is an assignment technique. The population in this study amounted to 118 students and the research sample was set at 29 people. The sampling technique used is the Stratified proportional random sampling technique. Data analysis used the percentages.

Abstract

This study contains the ability to write drama text in grade VIII students in the odd semester of SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung. What is the level of ability of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung in writing drama texts. This study aims to find out and describe the level of students' ability to write drama texts that are viewed in terms of several aspects, namely aspects of the plot, character and characterization, style of language, background, point of view and theme.The method used is descriptive qualitative by using percentages, namely by analyzing aspects, namely aspects of flow, character and characterization, style of language, background, perspective and theme. The ability of the drama text of SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung in the aspects of the background and angle of understanding in the category is quite seen from the percentage of students who have an average value of 62.8% and the ability to write drama texts for SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung in the theme aspects category is less seen from the percentage of students who have an average value of 60%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between mastery of diction and the ability to write poetry. To achieve this goal, the author uses a quantitative descriptive method, namely by analyzing the research data statistically. Analysis of the data used the product moment correlation formula. The results obtained from data analysis using statistics, it is known that rhit = 0.483, with n = 22 in the 95% confidence level. It was obtained that rtab = 0.423 and after the analysis it turned out that rhit was greater than rtab ie 0.483> 0.423. This means that the hypothesis is proven/accepted, there is a relationship between mastery of diction and the ability to write poetry in even semester X students of SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year. The direction of the relationship between Diction mastery and the ability to write poetry in class X SMA Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung Lessons 2021/2022 is positive. The close relationship between Diction mastery and the ability to write poetry in class X SMA Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung Lessons 2021/2022 is high.

Abstract

The novel Inna Ma'al Ausri Yusra is one of the novels that will be discussed more deeply related to the value of faith. The values of faith that will be studied are related to divine values, prophecy, ruhiyat, and samiyat. The method of this research is library research using descriptive analysis method. Based on the results of the analysis of the divine aspect, the author describes Fatimah's faith and piety who has experienced trials and tests. From the aspect of prophecy, the author describes it implicitly and explicitly in the story, about Fatima's determination to achieve high faith even though trials and suffering always befall her, she is guided by the story of the Prophet Muhammad. From the rihiyyat aspect, there is a belief in this value. Azwar is wrong. He believes in spirits. He uses his knowledge to manipulate his patients to comply with their wishes. From the sam'iyat aspect, it is illustrated in the story through the Koran, there are five letters consisting of five hadiths that support the arguments of the Koran so that the story has a strong legal basis.
