Abstract

This study aims to determine the Comparison of the Effectiveness of Brain Gym and Puzzle Playing Against the Development of Fine Motorcycles in Preschoolers in the Work Area of ​​the Basuki Rahmad Community Health Center in Bengkulu City. Quantitative research design using the Quasy Experiment design, two groups of pre-post tests equivalent without control design. The results of univariate analysis with brain gym intervention, from 15 respondents before the brain gym there were 9 children (60%) experienced deviant fine motor skills and after given 11 children therapy (73.3%) experienced normal fine motor skills. Whereas from the 15 respondents before intervening tubuzzle, there were 8 children (53.3%) having deviated fine motor skills and after being given a puzzle 15 respondents (100%) experienced normal fine motor skills. The bivariate results of Wilcoxon test have the effect of brain gym with p-value = 0,000 and puzzle with p-value = 0.001 in the development of fine motor in preschool children. Mann Whitney test results obtained p-value = 0.005. Conclusion, playing puzzles was more effective in the development of fine motor skills of preschoolers in the Basuki Rahmad Community Health Center in the City of Bengkulu. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brain gym therapy on increasing short memory of school-age mentally retarded children. This type of research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design, one groups pre and post test design. The results showed that the t-dependent value of the brain gym pre-post test, with a p-value of 0.000 and the mean value for children who were given brain gym intervention was 10.60 with a standard deviation of 0.996. In conclusion, there is an effect of brain gym therapy on increasing short memory of school-age children at State Elementary School 05 Bengkulu City. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of brain Gymnastics and playing puzzles on improving the motor skills in preschool children in the work area of the Basuki Rahmad Health Center in Bengkulu. The Quantitative research design used the quasy experiment design, one group pre-post test equivalent without control design. The results of the univariate analysis with brain gymnastics and playing puzzles intervention showed the 15 respondents before doing brain gymnastics and puzzle, there were nine children (60%) experiencing motor skills deviations and after giving therapy ten children (66.7%) experienced standard motor skills. The bivariate results of the Wilcoxon test have a significant effect between before and after brain gymnastics and puzzle intervention with p-value = 0.001 on motor development at the preschool children. It can conclude that an increase in the average motor picture before and after brain gymnastics and playing puzzles interventions in the Basuki Rahmad Community Health Center in Bengkulu. Abstract

Kasus patah tulang semakin meningkat dari waktu ke waktu di Indonesia dan cenderung membutuhkan biaya-biaya serta fasilitas yang mahal untuk mengobatinya sehingga masyarakat cenderung untuk melakukan pengobatan tradisional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengetahuan, sikap, tindakan dan perilaku masyarakat dalam pencarian pengobatan patah tulang di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kelobak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian secara kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pengetahuan, sikap, tindakan dan perilaku masyarakat dalam pencarian pengobatan patah tulang diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Kelobak Kecamatan Kepahiang Kabupaten Kepahiang, Propinsi Bengkulu. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien fraktur yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi sebanyak 5 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini  adalah studi lapangan, observasi, dan wawancara.  Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh informasi bahwa seluruh informan sudah memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup baik tentang definisi patah tulang. Seluruh informan menunjukan sikap negatif terhadap pelayanan kesehatan karena kurang yakin atas tenaga kesehatan. Tindakan seluruh informan yang mengalami patah tulang yaitu mereka langsung membawa ke pengobatan tradisional. Perilaku seluruh informan yang menunjukan kebiasaan pada saat mengalami patah tulang yaitu lebih mengutamakan pengobatan dukun atau pengobatan tradisional yang ada. Disarankan kepada masyarakat agar dapat memanfaatkan pelayanaan kesehatan yang ada. Pengetahuan, sikap, tindakan dan perilaku masyarakat juga agar meningkat lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between lighting and eye fatigue of workers Indah Taylor and Duta Taylor in Bengkulu City in 2017. The type of research used is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that of the 30 respondents, as many as 8 respondents (26.7%) had lighting that met the standards, as many as 22 people (73.3%) had lighting that did not meet the standards. Of the 30 respondents, 20 respondents (66.7%) %) who were declared tired, 10 (33.3%) respondents were not tired. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the value of p = 0.000. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between lighting and eye fatigue for Indah Taylor and Duta Taylor in Bengkulu City in 2017. Keywords: Eye Fatigue, Lighting, Tailor

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between fracture pain and sleep quality. This research was conducted in the Seruni room of Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu and in the Seruni room at Bhayangkara Hospital TK III Bengkulu. The research design used was correlational using a cross sectional approach. The results of the univariate analysis showed that (73.3%) respondents had poor sleep quality and (60%) had severe fracture pain intensity. The results of bivariate analysis with correlation test obtained p-value = 0.002 (p <0.05). In conclusion, there is a relationship between fracture pain and the sleep quality of patients hospitalized at the hospital in Bengkulu Province. Keywords: Fracture Pain, Sleep Quality

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing nursing with hallucinatory client self-control in schizophrenic patients at Soeprapto Mental Hospital in Bengkulu Province. The research design used was quasi experiment with one group pre-test and post-test design approaches. The results of this study obtained a value of p = 0.001 <α 0.05, which means there is an influence of nursing supplementation with hallucinatory client self-control in schizophrenic patients at the Soeprapto Mental Hospital in Bengkulu Province. Conclusion, there is the effect of nursing supplementation with hallucinatory client self-control in schizophrenic patients at Soeprapto Mental Hospital in Bengkulu Province. Abstract

Anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) dengan retardasi mental (RM) mengalami kesulitan dalam hal mengingat terkhusus memori jangka pendek (Short Memory). Hal tersebut perlu mendapat perhatian khusus bagi guru dan tim kesehatan dalam memberikan pengetahuan dan intervensi masalah tersebut. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan dengan pelaksanaan intervensi Brain Gym atau senam otak yang dikhususkan untuk anak RM. Gerakan senam otak bertujuan untuk merangsang otak kanan dan otak kiri, dapat memberikan rasa ringan atau relaksasi pada bagian depan otak dan belakang otak. Dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan tim PKMS didapatkan data : Saat ini sekolah belum pernah mendapatkan informasi terkait senam otak khusus anak RM, beberapa anak RM baru diajarkan belajar mandiri secara bertahap, akan tetapi setelah diulang dan ditanyakan hanya dalam beberapa hari saja sudah tidak mampu mengingat apa saja yang telah mereka kerjakan. Kegiatan  ini bertujuan  untuk menstimulasi peningkatan Short Memory anak RM dengan intervensi Brain Gym di SDLB NO.05 Kota Bengkulu. Adapun tahap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan 1) Anak RM, guru pendamping dan orangtua dijelaskan apa itu intervensi Brain Gym, 2) Demonstrasi gerakan Brain Gym yang diikuti Anak RM, guru pendamping dan orangtua. Hasil dari kegiatan PKMS ini adalah didapatkan 1) anak RM dapat mengikuti gerakan Brain gym, 2) terstimulasi short memory anak secara bertahap, 3) Sekolah melaksanakan kegiatan brain gym secara terjadwal dihari kamis. 4) Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan setelah dilakukan pelatihan. Dengan telah terjadwalnya pelaksanaan Brain gym ini disekolah, maka diharapkan anak RM memiliki peningkatan informasi dalam menerima, mengingat dan belajar. Simpulan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan setelah dilakukan pelatihan. Keyword: Brain Gym, Retardasi Mental, Short Memory

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of ergonomic exercise on reducing blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Center for Sponsorship and Elderly Care. The method used in this research is the quasi-experiment method with one group pre and post-test design. The results of the analysis showed that there were differences in the average systolic blood pressure before and after the ergonomic exercise was 14.00, and the diastolic blood pressure before and after the ergonomic practice was 8.00. Bivariate test results obtained a p-value of 0.00. In conclusion, there is the influence of ergonomic exercise intervention on the reduction of blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Center for Support and Care for the Elderly. Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of adolescent mothers when giving birth to children during a pandemic. The research design used a qualitative type with a phenomenological approach. In this study, there were seven female adolescent participants aged 19-21 years. The instrument used was an in-depth interview guide related to the experience of childbirth during the COVID-19 pandemic. Test the validity of the data using the triangulation design technique. The results of the study found 11 themes, namely: the mother's last age and education, the definition of childbirth, the stage of childbirth, the mother's feelings during childbirth, the actions taken when the mother was anxious, treating the family for baby care, the opinion about the attitude that the family gave to the mother, the reaction of mothers in facing family treatment, patterns that mothers apply in the process of dealing with childbirth during the COVID-19 pandemic and the support young mothers receive in caring for their babies when they are sick. In conclusion, teenage mothers who gave birth during the COVID-19 pandemic suffered from moderate anxiety and lack of family support during childbirth and received treatment with poor quality access to health services.
