Abstract

Tuntutan akademik yang tinggi berupa tugas-tugas yang banyak dan deadline yang singkat dapat menyebabkan depresi pada mahasiswa Arsitektur. Depresi tersebut dapat menyebabkan gangguan dalam pengolahan informasi sehingga dapat mengakibatkan kesulitan dalam proses belajar dan pelaksaaan tugas akademik. Kesulitan dalam proses belajar tersebut dapat mempengaruhi Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan depresi dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah analitikal observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional pada mahasiswa Aristektur UNDANA yang dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner BDI II dan data sekunder diperoleh melalui nilai IPK terakhir mahasiswa Arsitektur UNDANA yaitu angkatan 2016, 2017, 2018, dan 2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling dengan jumlah 154 orang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi,ekslusi dan dropout. Penelitian ini dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji somer’d. Hasil dari 154 responden, kategori normal sebanyak 24 orang (15,6 %), derpesi ringan sebanyak 41 orang (26,6%), depresi sedang sebanyak 59 orang (38,3%) dan depresi berat sebanyak 30 orang (19,5%). Hasil uji analisis bivariat pada penelitiaan ini diperoleh hasil p = 0,847 (p > 0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini tidak ada hubungan antara depresi dengan IPK pada mahasiswa Arsitektur UNDANA

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penyandang Diabetes Mellitus (DM) telah menjadi salah satu ancaman kesehatan global. Angka kejadian DM di dunia pada tahun 2017 adalah sebesar 425 juta jiwa, dimana Indonesia menempati peringkat ke-6 dengan jumlah sebesar 10,3 juta jiwa. Provinsi NTT sendiri memiliki presentase terendah yakni sebesar 0,9 %. Keadaan hiperglikemia yang terjadi pada pasien DM dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada berbagai organ tubuh, disabilitas dan komplikasi kesehatan yang mengancam jiwa. Ada berbagai pengobatan untuk pasien DM, termasuk pengobatan dengan ramuan obat tradisional. Tanaman sereh merupakan salah satu tanaman yang memiliki efek antidiabetes yang dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya efek antidiabetes ekstrak etanol daun sereh (Cymbopogon citratus) terhadap penurunan glukosa darah tikus putih Sprague Dawley yang diinduksi aloksan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan pendekatan true experimental-randomized pre-test and post-test with control group. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 24 ekor tikus jantan Sprague Dawley yang sebelumnya telah dirandomisasi ke dalam enam kelompok yaitu kontrol normal (tidak diberikan perlakuan), kontrol negatif (diinjeksi aloksan), kontrol positif (diinjeksi aloksan dan diberikan suspensi glibenklamid 0,45 mg/KgBB), kelompok perlakuan I (diinjeksi aloksan dan diberikan suspensi ekstrak daun sereh 250 mg/KgBB), kelompok perlakuan II (diinjeksi aloksan dan diberikan suspensi ekstrak daun sereh 500 mg/KgBB), kelompok perlakuan III (diinjeksi aloksan dan diberikan suspensi ekstrak daun sereh 650 mg/KgBB). Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000, dimana p< 0,05 yang artinya pemberian ekstrak daun sereh dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah tikus. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ekstrak daun sereh memiliki aktivitas antidiabetes dengan dosis minimal 250 mg/KgBB.

Abstract

Background: Cancer is one of leading cause of death number 2 in the world,or one of the six deaths in the 2018. The incidance of breast cancer as much as 11,6% and the number of death are 6,6% in 2018. Medical plant be expacted has potential as an anticancer with minimal side effects when used at the correct dosage, timing and when used it properly. Objectives: To determine the effect of garlic extract on the histopathological picture of female Sprague-Dawley rats induced DMBA. Methodology: This study used an experimental method with a post test only control group design approach using 6 treatment groups. The number of samples was 30 rats with each group containing 5 rats. All data were analyzed using the Shapiro- Wilk normality test followed by the Kruskal Wallis non-parametric test. Results: The results showed that there was no effect on the administration of garlic extract on the histopathological picture of female Sprague-Dawley rats induced DMBA. Group 1 there was no change in the ductal epithel. Group 2 there were changes in the ductal epithelium to hyperplasia with atypia. Group 3, group 4, group 5, group 6 there were changes in the epithelial ducts up to severe hyperplasia. The results of the Kruskall-Wallis statistical test showed that there were no significant differences between groups (p> 0.05). The results of the Mann-Whitney post hoc test in groups 1 and 2 showed a significant difference (p <0.05). Conclusion: DMBA induced can cause changes in the histopathological picture of female Sprague-Dawley rats breast. There was no effect of garlic extract on the histopathological picture of the female Sprague-Dawley rats breasts induced by DMBA.

Abstract

Background: Hyperuricemia is a condition where there is a metabolic disorders shown by increased of uric acid levels in the serum, such excessive amount of uric acid can manifest as gout. Soursop leaf (Annona muricata L.) contains active compounds that has the potential to reduce uric acid levels in rats. Research purposes: To determine the dose of ethanol extract of Soursop leaves that can reduce uric acid levels in rat’s blood. Method: This research was a true experimental, 24 white rats (Rattus novergicus) of Sprague Dawley were divided into 6 groups consisting of the normal control group without any treatment. the negative control group was induced by chicken liver juice, the positive control group was given allopurinol 18 mg /200gBB, and the 3 treatment groups that was given soursop extract with leveled dosage (10, 40 and 70 mg/200gBW) for 12 days. The difference between uric acid before and after the treatment of each group was done using One Way Annova, followed by Post hoc analysis. The changes in uric acid levels per day of observation, were analysis using Repeated Anova, followed by Post hoc analysis. Results: Ethanol extract of soursop leaves can reduce uric acid levels in the blood and is not significantly different from allopurinol (p>0.05). Doses of 10, 40 and 70 mg/200gBW had the same effect in reducing uric acid levels in rats, with the peak of decrease occurring on day 26, specificly 1.58 mg/dl (p<0.05) Conclusion: The ethanol extract of soursop leaves (Annona muricata L.) can reduce uric acid levels in rats. Doses of 10, 40 and 70 mg/200gBW had the same effectiveness as allopurinol in lowering the levels of uric acid in rats
