Abstract

ABSTRACT The low quality of service so that the level of patient satisfaction has not met the minimum service criteria, namely 95% which is influenced by several factors so that the degree of satisfaction is still low.Objective: to find out the factors that influence the satisfaction level of swamp patients in hospitalMethods: This study uses a literature review, from two electronic databases; Google Scholar and Garuda in the period 2010-2020 found ten literatures that match keywords.Results: The results of data synthesis in 10 journal articles 5 journal articles stated that the level of patient satisfaction was low due to ineffective communication, 4 journal articles stated that the level of satisfaction was low because of the quality of service, and 1 journal article stated that the level of patient satisfaction was low due to official scheduling.Discussion: Patient satisfaction with the quality of service provided by nursing personnel to clients while receiving hospital care, services, and nursing care received by patients is a form of professional service that can increase inpatient satisfaction and improve the quality of health services. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Deteksi dini risiko komplikasi kardiovaskuler pada penderita hipertensi salah satunya dengan mengetahui profil Elektrokardiogram (EKG) penderita hipertensi. EKG penderita hipertensi yang memiliki lama menderita akan berisiko tinggi terhadap kelainan jantung.Tujuan: Tujuannpenelitiannini untuknmengetahui perbedaan gambarannEKGnpadanpasiennhipertensindengan lama riwayat menderita 5 tahun dan ≥5 tahun di Poli Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit H. Damanhuri Barabai.Metode: Penelitian deskriptif komparatif dengan desain cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 60 orang terbagi dalam dua kelompok menggunakan teknik accidental sampling.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran EKG pada pasien hipertensi dengan lama riwayat menderita 5 tahun yang normal sebanyak 22 orang (73,3%) dan lama riwayat menderita ≥5 tahun tidak normal sebanyak 21 orang (70%). Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan gambaran EKG pada pasien hipertensi dengan lama riwayat menderita 5 tahun dan ≥5 tahun. Kesimpulan:Semakin lama menderita hipertensi, dapat berpotensi gambaran EKG mengarah pada gambaran hipertrofi ventrikel kiri, yang berakibat pada prevalensi gagal jantung. Kata-kata kunci: elektrokardiogram, hipertensi, lama riwayat. Abstract Background: One of the early detection of the risk of cardiovascular complications in patients with hypertension is one of them by knowing the electrocardiogram (EKG) profile of hypertensive patients. ECG patients with hypertension who have long-suffering will be at high risk of heart abnormalities. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in ECG picture in hypertensive patients with a history of 5 years and ≥5 years of history in Internal Medicine Poly H. Damanhuri Barabai Hospital. Method: Comparative descriptive study with a cross-sectional design with a sample of 60 people divided into two groups used accidental sampling technique. Result: The results showed EKG images in hypertensive patients with a history of 5 years normal as many as 22 people (73.3%) and long history of suffering ≥5 years abnormal as many as 21 people (70%). The results of the analysis showed that there were thendifferencesninnECG images in hypertensive patients with a history of 5 years and ≥5 years of history. Conclusion: The longer you suffer from hypertension, the EKG can potentially lead to a picture of left ventricular hypertrophy, which results in the prevalence of heart failure.Keywords:  electrocardiogram, hypertension, length of history.

Abstract

Dokumentasi sebagai bukti jaminan kualitas asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan. Tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan peran supervisor dengan kualitas pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan sesuai SNARS di RSD Idaman Kota Banjarbaru. Desain penelitian crosss sectional, 11 ketua tim dan 82 perawat pelaksana dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Fisher Excat untuk ketua tim dan uji Chi Square untuk perawat pelaksana. Hasil Persepsi ketua tim terhadap peran supervisor baik 54,5%, dan perawat pelaksana baik 58,5%, kualitas dokumentasi ketua tim kurang baik 72,7%,  dan perawat pelaksana baik 81,7%.  Hasilnya tidak ada hubungan peran supervisor dengan kualitas pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan ketua tim sesuai SNARS (p value=0,182>0,05), tidak ada hubungan peran supervisor dengan kualitas pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan perawat pelaksana sesuai SNARS (p value=0,458>0,05). Tidak berhubungan peran supervisor dengan kualitas pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan dapat terjadi karena dipengaruhi oleh motivasi, pengetahun, beban kerja, sikap, waktu, dan intensif.

Abstract

e"> ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian: melakukan pemberdayaan fungsi kepala ruangan dalam implementasi jadwaldinas berbasis kompetensi di rumah sakit umum vertikal kelas A yang menjadi rumah sakit pusatrujukan nasional. Metode: pendekatan pilot studi yang dilaksanakan dari analisis situasi, pembuatanplan of action, implementasi, evaluasi dan analisis gap menggunakan literatur review. Pilot studidilakukan selama ± 7 minggu kepada 43 perawat dan 16 kepala ruangan sebagai responden.Analisis situasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan diagram fi sh bone. Hasil: Masalah utama ialahbelum optimalnya pelaksanaan jadwal dinas berbasis kompetensi. Implementasi yang dilakukanialah brainstorming kepada kepala ruangan tentang pentingnya kompetensi dalam pelaksanaanjadwal dinas dan melakukan uji coba jadwal dinas berbasis kompetensi. Hasil uji coba didapatkanbahwa 100% kepala ruangan merasa jadwal dinas berbasis kompetensi lebih efektif. Hasil kuesionermenunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan kepala ruangan tentang pentingnya kompetensidalam penjadwalan perawat menjadi 8,6 dan rata-rata penilaian diri (self asessment) dari kepalaruangan tentang evaluasi pembuatan jadwal dinas berbasis kompetensi sebesar 7,88 dari 10 poin.Pelaksanaan penjadwalan berbasis kompetensi mendapat hambatan berupa kurangnya jumlahtenaga perawat, karakteristik perawat, dan pemerataaan kompetensi. Simpulan: pemberdayaanfungsi kepala ruangan dalam implementasi jadwal dinas berbasis kompetensi lebih efektif danmemudahkan pekerjaan kepala ruangan dalam pengaturan jadwal dinas. Peran kepala ruangansangat penting dalam pembuatan jadwal dinas berbasis kompetensi. Peran kepala bidangkeperawatan sangat membantu sistem jadwal dinas dengan membuat kebijakan yang tepat dansejalan dengan misi pelayanan keperawatan untuk memberikan pelayanan berkualitas dan aman.Kata Kunci: jadwal dinas, kompetensi, perawat.OPTIMIZATION THE FUNCTION OF THE HEAD NURSE IN DETERMINING COMPETENCEBASED NURSE SERVICE SCHEDULE: A PILOT STUDYABSTRACTObjective: To empower the function of head nurse in implementing competence-based nurse serviceschedule in grade A hospital which serves as a national referral hospital. Methods: This studyemployed a pilot study approach that was performed in situation analysis, making of Plan of Action,implementation, evaluation and gap analysis using literature review. The pilot study was conductedfor approximately 7 weeks to 43 nurses and 16 head nurses as respondents. The situation analysiswas performed using fi shbone diagram. Results: The main problem was unoptimal implementationof competence-based nurse service schedule. The implementation done was brainstorming tothe head nurses about importance of competence in the implementation of service schedule andconducting trial of the competence-based nurse service schedule. The trial results indicated that100% of the head nurses thought that the competence-based nurse service schedule was moreeffective. The questionnaire results indicated increased head nurses’ knowledge of the importanceof competence in nurse scheduling by 8.6, and average self-assessment of the head nurseson the evaluation of competency-based nurse service scheduling by 7.88 out of 10 points. Theimplementation of competence-based scheduling was obstructed by lack of the number of nurses,characteristics of nurses and even distribution of competence. Conclusion: The empowerment ofthe function of head nurses in the implementation of competence-based nurse service schedule wasmore effectively and could facilitate the work of head nurses in managing the service schedule. The role of head nurses was very important in competence-based nursing service scheduling. The roleof head nurses was useful in nurse service schedule system by making appropriate policy and wasin line with the mission of nursing care in providing quality and safe service.Keywords: nurse scheduling, competence, nurse

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is a condition of fulfilling the wishes, expectations and needs of patients. Bases on datafrom March 2020 to March 2021, there was an increase in patients returning home at their own request by3% and the lack of fulfillement of patient satisfaction values which were still below 90%. The aim of thisstudy is to evaluate Infrastructure and compliance of covid-19 patients. The study desing used was crosssectional, whit a consecutive sampling and a sample size of 120 covid-19 patients. Data were analyzed usingthe spearman rank rest. Data collection was carried out from June 2021 to August 2021. The result of thestudy found that there was a relationship between phycsical facility and satisfaction with p value 0,001 and r0,498. Abstract

Documentation as collateral proof of the quality of nursing care provided. Objective to know the role ofsupervisors with the quality of documentation of nursing care according to SNARS at RSD. Design of CROSSSSectional research, 11 team chairmen and 82 implementing nurses with purposive sampling techniques.Research instruments using observation sheets and questionnaires. Data was analyzed using the Fisher Excattest for the team leader and Chi Square test for executive nurses. The results of the team leader's perception ofthe supervisor's role was 54.5%, and the implementing nurse was either 58.5%, the quality of the team's chiefdocumentation was not good 72.7%, and the implementing nurse was 81.7%. The result is no relationship rolesupervisor with the quality of the documentation of nursing care team Chair as per SNARS (p value = 0,182 >0.05), there is no relationship of supervisor role with the quality of the documentation of nursing care nursesaccording to SNARS (p value = 0,458 > 0.05). Not related to the role of supervisors with the quality of thetreatment of nursing care can occur because it is influenced by motivation, knowledge, workload, attitude, time,and intensively.

Abstract

Patient safety incidents are still an unresolved problem in the hospital. Many factors that are cause this problemone of them is nurse competence. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between nurse competence andpatient safety in several hospitals on the Barito River banks. The research design used a cross-sectional design.The study was conducted on nurses in three hospitals (n = 155 people) with the inclusion criteria as an executivenurse, at least one year of work, and not leaving. Data were analyzed using the test Correlation Spearman. Theresults showed that the average nurse competence was 88.09, while the average patient safety was 54.21. Therewas a significant relationship between nurses' competence and the safety of hypertensive patients (p = 0.006; r =0.219). Nurses' right competence will provide services that are more effective, efficient, and safe for patients. Thisstudy concludes that there is a relationship between nurse competence and patient safety. The higher the nursecompetence, the higher the level of patient safety. Hospital managers are expected to place nurses according totheir competence, so that patient safety is guaranteed in the hospital.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is used to evaluate in the Hospital especially as a treatment process. The lack of target patientsatisfaction scores is due to several things, such as treatment room infrastructure. This research is an analyticstudy with cross-sectional design. The sample in this study numbered 134 respondents that used a purposivesampling technique. It used a questionnaire. Analysis test used the Spearman correlation test. The result of thisresearch got an average of a ward facility of 69,87 and an average result of the level patient’s satisfaction of70,97. The result showed that there was a relationship between ward facility with the patient’s satisfaction in theinpatient Idaman Banjabaru Hospital. Ward facility could affect the level of patient’s satisfaction. The result ofthe ward facility shows that it was good while the patient’s satisfaction value was still not reaching the minimumstandard value. There was a relationship ward facility with the patient’s satisfaction in Idaman BanjarbaruHospital.

Abstract

Nurses work professionally in hospitals to provide nursing services so that patients feel satisfied with thework ofnurses. But nurse job satisfaction in hospitals in Indonesia is still low. Several factors most influencedlow nurse job satisfaction. One of them is nurse service scheduling. Nursing scheduling is the arrangementand allocation of time available to carry out tasks from the work of nurses. The purpose of this study was todetermine the relationship between nursing scheduling with patient satisfaction at Y Hospital Jakarta. Thisstudy method was cross-sectional. The number ofsamples was 32 nurses (n = 32) through a stratified randomsampling technique. The study was conducted at Y Hospital Jakarta. Inclusion criteria included nurse,worked at least 1 year in ward, and were willing to become respondents. Analyzed of data used Pearsoncorrelation test. The results showed that the average nurse job satisfaction was 73, while the nurse'sscheduling was 90. 29. These results indicated that nurse satisfaction was still below the minimum servicestandard (SPM). This result also showed that there was a significant relationship between nursing schedulingand nurse satisfaction (p = 0.040; r = 0.349). The conclusion of this study was that there was a significantrelationship between nursing scheduling and nurse satisfaction at Y Hospital. Recommendations were givento the Head of the room to be fair in making the official schedule. Hospital managers also are expected toimprove nurse satisfaction by managing to nurse scheduling properly.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic complex disease that requires medical care, self managementeducation and ongoing support to prevent complications. Health education is one of steps toincrease knowledge and skills of diabetes management independently to avoid the complication ofDM, one of them is Diabetes Self Management Education and Support (DSME/S). The aim of thisstudy was to determine the effect of DSME/S on increasing the independent management ofknowledge of patients with type 2 DM. This study use pre experimental method with one grouppretest-posttest design. There were 30 patients with type 2 DM at Idaman Kota BanjarbaruHospital on March-April 2018. This study used consecutive sampling technique. Follow up wasconducted after intervention on the third day. The instruments were module, demographicquestionnaire and DM knowledge questionnaire. Based on Paired t test results, there is an effect ofDSME/S on increasing the independent management ofknowledge of patients with type 2 DM was0.0001 (p<α; α=0.005), with an increase of 15.97%. DSME/S is effective on improving knowledgeof patient with type 2 DM, so it can be given to patients with type 2 DM as self-managementeducation to prevent complications.
