Abstract

AbstractBackground : Under-nutrition is physically condition that caused mal-absorption, such as infectious diseases. Diarrhea is an infectious disease that caused lack of WASH (Water Sanitation and Hand Washing), defecation’s not in latrines and inadequate intake. The impact of under nutrition school aged children is poor quality of live and learning. Objective : To know the correlation between energy, protein, zinc intake, WASH and defecate in latrine to diarrhea incidence of under-nutrition school aged children (10 – 12 years old) in Sumatera island. Methods : Analysis cross sectional design was used to 526 respondents that was analyzed by Independent T – test and Chi Square. Results: The intake of energy, protein and zinc of respondents are less than half of requirements. Most of respondents (>50%) un-lack of water sanitation and washing their hands without soap in critical times, except before eating (53.2% washing their hands with soap) and healthy latrines facility (57.3%). The incidence of diarrhea disease was significantly associated (p<0.005) with defecation in latrines, and negatively associated (p>0.005) with energy, protein, zinc intake and WASH. Conclusion and Suggestion : Defecation in latrines impacts of diarrhea incidence that means the children getting diarrhea because they are not defecate in latrine, because of poor facility of healthy latrines. Important to cooperate with the government to promote defecation in latrine and build healthy latrines facility.Keywords : Undernutrition, Diarrhea, Healthy LatrinesAbstrakLatar Belakang : Kurang gizi adalah kondisi fisik yang disebabkan malabsorpsi, seperti adanya penyakit infeksi. Diare adalah penyakit infeksi rendahnya perilaku hygiene yang seperti mencuci tangan tidak pakai sabun dan buang air besar tidak dijamban serta kurangnya sanitasi sumber air bersih dan tidak adekuatnya asupan zat gizi. Dampak dari kurang gizi pada anak usia sekolah adalah rendahnya kualitas hidup dan belajar anak. Tujuan : untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan energy, protein, mineral seng, perilaku hygiene dan sanitasi sumber air terhadap kejadian diare pada anak kurang gizi usia sekolah dasar (10–12 tahun) di pulau Sumatera. Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan terhadap 526 responden pada penelitian ini adalah cross sectional menggunakan uji analisa Independent t – Test dan Chi Square.  Hasil : Asupan energy, protein dan mineral seng responden krang dari setengah kebutuhan. Kebanyakan responden (>50%) memiliki sumber air yang tersanitasi dan tidak mencuci tangan pakai sabun di waktu – waktu kritis, kecuali sebelum makan (53.2% responden mencuci tangannya pakai sabun sebelum makan) dan fasilitas jamban sehat (57.4%). Kejadian diare memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan perilaku buang air besar di Jamban dan tidak memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan asupan energy, protein, mineral seng, perilaku mencuci tangan pakai sabun dan sanitasi sumber air bersih. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Kejadian diare pada responden selama kurun waktu 12 bulan yang lalu disebabkan dari perilaku buang air besar responden yang tidak dilakukan dijamban dikarenakan tidak tersedianya jamban yang sehat, sehingga diperlukan kerjasama pihak pemerintah untuk mensosialisasikan perilaku buang air besar di Jamban dan membangun percontohan fasilitas jamban sehat.Kata Kunci : Gizi Kurang, Diare, Jamban Sehat

Abstract

AbstractBackground: Stunting prevalence for 7-12 years old in Nusa Tenggara Islands is still above the national prevalence (35.6%), in NTT (58.5%), NTB (39.6%). The prevalence of emaciation child in NTT (17%), NTB (17.7%), are still above the national prevalence (12.2%). Objective: To analyze differences in macro-nutrients intake and fiber based on nutritional status of children aged 7–12 years old in Nusa Tenggara Islands (NTT and NTB). Design: Using data from the Health Research (Riskesdas), with cross sectional method, statistical test used independent t-test and one-way ANOVA test. The sample is 1104 school children aged 7–12 years in the islands of Nusa Tenggara (NTT and NTB).   Result: The average intake of energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, and fiber in school children aged 7–12 years in Nusa Tenggara Islands still less than the requirement. Most children have normal nutritional status (71,3%). Respondents were more men (63,2%) and reside in rural areas (63,2%). The majority of the highest education level of the head of households was not graduated from primary school (83,8%). There are differences in energy and fat intake between men and women (p<0,05). There are differences in fat and fiber intake in rural and urban areas (p<0,05). There are differences in energy, protein, and carbohydrate intake based on education level of household head (p<0,05). There is no difference in energy and macro-nutrients intake based on nutritional status of children (p≥0,05). Prevalensi anak kekurusan di NTT (17%), NTB (17,7%), masih diatas prevalensi nasional (12,2%). Tujuan: Menganalisis perbedaan asupan zat gizi makro dan serat berdasarkan status gizi anak usia 7-12 tahun di Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara (NTT dan NTB). Metode Penelitian: Menggunakan data hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas), dengan metode cross sectional, uji statistik yang digunakan t-test independen dan uji one-way anova. Sampel sebanyak 1104 anak sekolah usia 7-12 tahun di Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara (NTT dan NTB).   Hasil Penelitian: Rata-rata asupan energi, protein, lemak, karbohidrat, dan serat pada anak sekolah usia 7-12 tahun di Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara masih kurang dari kebutuhan seharusnya. Sebagian besar anak berstatus gizi normal (71,3%). Responden lebih banyak laki-laki (51,3%) dan bertempat tinggal di pedesaan (63,2%). Tingkat pendidikan tertinggi kepala keluarga yang paling banyak yaitu yang tidak tamat SD/MI (83,8%). Ada perbedaan yang asupan energi dan lemak antara laki-laki dan perempuan (p<0,05). Ada perbedaan asupan lemak dan serat di pedesaan dan perkotaan (p<0,05). Ada perbedaan asupan energi, protein, dan karbohidrat berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan tertinggi kepala rumah tangga (p<0,05).  Tidak ada perbedaan asupan energi, dan zat gizi makro berdasarkan status gizi anak (p≥0,05). Sedangkan asupan serat terdapat perbedaan berdasarkan status gizi (p<0,05).Kata kunci: anak sekolah, asupan energi, zat gizi makro

Abstract

Abstrak: Pola makan anak usia sekolah sering tidak sarapan, tidak membawa bekal makanan ke sekolah dan sering jajan di sekolah. Hal ini ditandai dengan rendahnya asupan zat gizi makro dan status gizi yang kurang pada anak sekolah di desa Weninggalih. Selain itu, belum adanya materi mengenai gizi seimbang dalam materi pendidikan jasmani di sekolah dan belum adanya pemberian edukasi terkait gizi seimbang dengan praktek membawa bekal. Edukasi ini bekerjasama dengan semua pihak baik dari puskesmas, kecamatan, sekolah dan perangkat desa yang dilaksanakan di SDN Sinargalih 2, Desa Weninggalih. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku siswa sekolah dasar mengenai gizi seimbang yang diaplikasikan melalui isi bekalku. Adapun jumlah siswa yang diberikan edukasi sebanyak 50 orang. Praktik yang didasari oleh pengetahuan akan bertahan lama sehingga penting bagi anak untuk memperoleh pengetahuan gizi dari berbagai sumber kegiatan yang akan dilakukan berupa edukasi mengenai gizi seimbang, dan isi piring makanku yang diaplikasikan dalam media “Isi Bekalku” yang sesuai dengan prinsip gizi seimbang. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan yang baik terkait pengetahuan siswa serta adanya perubahan perilaku yang tercermin dengan menu bekal yang bervariasi dan tepat porsinya. Abstract:  The eating patterns of school-aged children often do not eat breakfast, do not bring food to school and often eat snacks at school. This is indicated by the low intake of macro nutrients and poor nutritional status of school children in the village of Weninggalih. In addition, there is no material on balanced nutrition in physical education materials in schools and the absence of providing education related to balanced nutrition with the practice of carrying supplies. This education is in collaboration with all parties, both from the Public Health Center, schools and village apparatuses held at SDN Sinargalih 2, Weninggalih Village. The objective of this activity to improve the knowledge and behavior of elementary school students about balanced nutrition which is applied through my lunch “Isi Bekalku”. The number of students who were given education was 50 people. Practices based on knowledge will last so long that it is important for children to obtain nutritional knowledge from various sources of activities that will be carried out in the form of education about balanced nutrition, and the contents of my plates which are applied in the media "Isi Bekalku" in accordance with the principle of balanced nutrition. The results show that there are good changes related to student knowledge as well as changes in behavior that are reflected in the varied and precise portions of the lunch menu.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tahun 2018 baru 54,6 % anak balita yang dibawa ke fasilitas kesehatan untuk ditimbang sesuai standar sebagai salah satu indikator program Keluarga Sadar Gizi (KADARZI). Hal ini membuktikan diperlukan adanya peninjauan analisis determinan program KADARZI. Tujuan: Mengetahui determinan program KADARZI pada keluarga balita. Metode: Penelitian cross sectional dengan perhitungan sampel formula cohen (Priori: Chi-square test) pada aplikasi G*Power sebanyak 200 sampel, menggunakan teknik stratified proportional random sampling dengan kriteria keluarga yang memiliki balita usia 6-59 bulan yang tinggal bersama ibu kandung. Dilakukan uji statisik Chi-Square untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan gizi ibu, pendapatan keluarga, besar keluarga, peran tokoh masyarakat, sarana, jarak dan waktu menuju fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan, pelayanan petugas kesehatan/kader serta keterpaparan informasi dengan Status KADARZI pada keluarga balita. Pada tahap akhir dilakukan uji statisik multiple regression jenis logistik untuk mengetahui variable yang paling berpengaruh terhadap status KADARZI.Hasil : KADARZI dapat terkait dengan pengetahuan gizi ibu, peran tokoh masyarakat, sarana pelayanan kesehatan, jarak dan waktu menuju fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan, serta pelayanan petugas kesehatan/kader (p ≤ 0,05) dengan waktu tempuh menuju pelayanan kesehatan sebagai variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap Status KADARZI (OR=8,866). Simpulan : Pengetahuan ibu, dukungan tokoh masyarakat, sarana, jarak, waktu menuju fasilitas kesehatan dan pelayanan kesehatan/kader memiliki hubungan dalam menentukan KADARZI. Perlu adaya pelatihan atau membekali kader tentang teknik promosi kesehatan yang efektif sesuai sasaran yang dihadapi dan memfasilitasi dengan alat bantu promosi kesehatan yang memadai.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Gangguan siklus menstruasi dapat mengakibatkan penurunan performa pada atlet. Asupan yang tidak seimbang, beratnya latihan, status gizi tidak normal dan stress dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya gangguan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan asupan, status gizi, aktivitas fisik dan tingkat stres terhadap gangguan siklus menstruasi pada atlet bulutangkis. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional dan sampel berjumlahkan 20 atlet. Data diperoleh melalui online google form yaitu data asupan karbohidrat, protein, lemak, zat besi, folat dan vitamin C dengan Food Record 3x24 jam, status gizi dengan IMT/U, aktivitas fisik dengan lembar IPAQ, tingkat stress dengan lembar kuesioner HARS, dan siklus menstruasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji Korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara hubungan asupan karbohidrat (p = 0.015, r = 0.535) asupan protein (p = 0.021, r = -0.513), asupan lemak (p = 0.021, r = -0.513), vitamin C (p = 0.048, r = 0.447) dan gangguan siklus menstruasi pada atlet bulutangkis. Namun tidak ditemukannya hubungan antara zat besi, folat, status gizi, aktivitas fisik dan tingkat stress terhadap gangguan siklus menstruasi pada atlet bulutangkis (p > 0.05). Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara asupan karbohidrat, protein, lemak, vitamin C dan gangguan siklus menstruasi pada atlet bulutangkis putri. Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a period of transition physical, mental, and emotional changes. Adolescents usually experience lifestyle changes and eating habits such as excessive dieting, skipping meals, using supplements and adopting diets. Methods: The study used the quasy experimental method with pre-test and post-test in the intervention and control groups. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 84 samples. Results: Most of the respondents were male (61.9%) with an average age of 14 years. Based on the analysis carried out showed that there were no significant changes in the knowledge, attitudes, behaviors and eating patterns of adolescents before and after the intervention (p> 0.05), but there was a change in diet, the mean score on knowledge and behavior scores increased. Conclusions: Nutrition education with the application of Remind me application can increase the knowledge, attitudes, behavior and diet of adolescent balanced nutrition, if adolescents are exposed to the media intensely and continuously. Providing the Remind me application media as a media for nutritional education to adolescents still needs to be developed in an effort to perfect the application display, content, specifications of mobile phones or smart phones, better programming system specifications and safer domain server usage will reduce debugging on the application system, so that the message delivered and can be achieved.

Abstract

An athlete is required to always maintain his physical fitness. Fitness is one indicator in determining a person's health, especially for an athlete. The fitter a person is, the healthier that person will be. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of macro nutrient adequacy, nutritional status and physical activity on the badminton athletes in PB Jaya Raya club. This study used a quantitative research design with a cross sectional study design and a sample of 32 athletes. Data obtained through online google form, namely data on carbohydrate, protein, fat intake with a 3x24 hour food record, nutritional status with BMI/U and Physical activity using the IPAQ questionnaire sheet. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank Correlation Test. As many as 28 (87.5%) of respondents had insufficient levels of carbohydrate adequacy, and as many as 31 (96.9%) of respondents had a higher level of protein sufficiency as well as an adequate level of fat 31 (96.9%) of respondents had sufficient levels of sufficiency of excess fat. It is known that 19 (59.4%) respondents have a moderate level of physical activity. And it is known that as many as 25 (78.1%) respondents are fit. There was no significant relationship between all research variables (p≥0,05). The conclusion of this study shows that there is no relationship between the level of carbohydrate adequacy, protein adequacy level, fat adequacy level, nutritional status and physical activity on athletes fitness (p≥0,05). There is no significant relationship between the adequacy level of macro nutrients, nutritional status and physical activity on the fitness of badminton athletes. Abstrak Seorang atlet dituntut untuk selalu menjaga kebugaran jasmaninya. Kebugaran adalah salah satu indikator untuk menentukan derajat kesehatan seseorang, terutama untuk seorang atlet. Semakin bugar seseorang maka semakin sehat juga orang tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan tingkat kecukupan zat gizi makro, status gizi dan aktivitas fisik terhadap kebugaran pada atlet bulutangkis yang berada di klub PB Jaya Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional dan sampel berjumlah 32 atlet. Data diperoleh melalui online google form yaitu data asupan karbohidrat, protein, lemak dengan food record 3x24 jam, status gizi dengan IMT/U dan aktivitas fisik dengan lembar kuesioner IPAQ. Analisis data menggunakan uji Korelasi Rank Spearman. Sebanyak 28 (87,5%) responden memiliki tingkat kecukupan karbohidrat yang kurang, serta sebanyak 31 (96,9%) responden memiliki tingkat kecukupan protein yang lebih begitu pun dengan tingkat kecukupan lemak 31 (96,9%) responden memiliki tingkat kecukupan lemak yang berlebih. Diketahui sebanyak 19 (59,4%) responden memiliki tingkat aktivitas fisik sedang. Serta diketahui bahwa sebanyak 25 (78,1%) responden bugar. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan pada seluruh variabel penelitian (p≥0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan karbohidrat, tingkat kecukupan protein, tingkat kecukupan lemak, status gizi dan aktivitas fisik terhadap kebugaran atlet (p ≥ 0,05). Tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat kecukupan zat gizi makro, status gizi dan aktivitas fisik terhadap kebugaran atlet bulutangkis.

Abstract

Pendahuluan Status gizi menentukan tumbuh kembang bayi baik fisik maupun kognitif. Tingginya masalah status gizi pada bayi di Indonesia menyebabkan turunnya derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi antara bayi gizi kurang dan normal di Desa Kadudampit, wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Saketi. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan correlational design dengan jenis rancangan cross-sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah semua populasi yaitu 48 bayi. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan komputerisasi dengan uji chi square dan independent t test terdapat 10 gizi kurang dan 38 bayi dengan status gizi normal. Hasil uji statistik dengan uji chi square dan independent t test menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan riwayat penyakit, riwayat asi eksklusif, dan asupan gizi makro (karbohidrat, protein, lemak). Pendidikan kesehatan tentang imunisasi sebaiknya diberikan dalam bentuk promosi kesehatan dalam upaya pencegahan permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan status gizi.

Abstract

Background: Generation Y (Millennial) and generation Z (IGeneration) are proven to be the two generations that dominate the use of information communication technology today. Living in a rapidly developing technology era and abundant information should make them have nutritional knowledge, attitudes and behavior towards a good visual balanced nutrition. However, Riskesdas 2018 shows an increase in the prevalence of obesity in adults by 21.8%. This high prevalence is said to be an indicator of low knowledge about balanced nutrition even though the two generations live in an era of abundant information.Objectives: Analyzing differences in nutritional knowledge, attitudes and behavior regarding visual balanced nutrition between generation Y and generation Z.Methods: This research is an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. Selection of research subjects with total sampling. A sample of 40 respondents was obtained from generation Y and 40 respondents from generation Z. Using the independent t-test statistical test to determine differences in nutritional knowledge, attitudes and behaviors regarding balanced nutrition visuals (balanced nutrition cone and my plate) in generation Y and generation Z.Results: There are differences in nutritional knowledge in generation Y and generation Z (p = 0.0001), there are differences in attitudes about visual balanced nutrition in generation and generation Z (p = 0.0001), and there are differences in nutritional behavior towards visual balanced nutrition of generation Y and generation Z (p = 0.029). From the above values, it can be said that the value of sampling bias on nutritional knowledge and attitudes is smaller than behavior.Conclusion: The three results show that there are differences in nutritional knowledge, attitudes and behavior between these two generations.

Abstract

Background: Nowadays, Mukbang video is very popular on social media, especially Instagram, also known as an eating show which is a host doing a consumes various quantities of food. Teenager has an impressionable characteristic which can affect a person to imitate “negative-eating” behaviour, such as the food-vloggers did on the Mukbang video. In general, it is because the foods on the Mukbang video do not give an attention to the ingredients itself/it tends to be higher on calories, fat, and cholesterol. In case, this “negative-eating” behavior which is eating food with large portion and not balanced diet was imitated by a large part of society, then it can generate many nutrient problems that can affect to the health.Objectives: To know the relation between the behaviour of watching Mukbang, the nutrient knowledge, and the stress level with the changing of eating behaviour of Mukbang enthusiast on social media, Instagram.Methods: This research design was Cross Sectional with 125 respondents. All of the data were taken using Google Form with limited time for 10 minutes. Statistical data analysis used Chi-Square testResults: There is a significant relationship between the behaviour of watching Mukbang with the changing of negative eating behaviour (p-value = 0.003), there is a significant relationship between the nutrient knowledge with the changing of negative eating behaviour (p-value = 0.009), there is a significant relationship between the stress level with the changing of eating behaviour of Mukbang enthusiast on Instagram (p-value = 0.034).Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the behaviour of watching Mukbang, the nutrient knowledge, and the stress level with the changing of eating behaviour of Mukbang enthusiast on Instagram. There needs to be a balance in the behaviour of watching Mukbang, the nutrient knowledge, and the stress level, in order there is no change in “negative-eating” behavior
