Abstract

The ability to speak English both verbally and in writtenly for LP3I students is an important asset to be able to compete in the MEA era. However, for them English is not an easy subject to study. This is evident from the results of this study. Business English Correspondence is a course that provides expertise to students in conducting business correspondence in English well and correctly. The purpose of this paper is to find out the mistakes of English grammar in conducting business correspondence both conventional and online. Through the principles of error analysis, it can be seen various types of grammatical errors that are not in accordance with English grammar. There are two forms of errors that are generally distributed by students, namely Interlingual Error and Intralingual Error. The tables and graphs shown in this study describe twelve types of grammatical errors of students who have been classified. Strategic steps to evaluate the teaching methods of this course can be done afterwards.Key words: Error analysis, English Grammar. Business English Correspondence.

Abstract

The three pillars of higher education for lecturers and students is an obligation. The law requires the existence of libraries in universities for those who want to organize higher education. The library, which is a sub-section of the college where it belongs, must participate in the success of the main organization's missions. The presence of the library must provide tangible benefits for academic people. The Kramat LP3I business administration students as the main actors in this study fully participated to realize the goals of the institution. They have a positive impression of the existence of the library. The results showed that the  students' perceptions of the use of the Kramat LP3I Polytechnic library in the three pillars of higher education activities were approaching good either at 74.9%.Key words: Perception, Library, LP3I Polytechnic Students. Abstract

AbstractThe dishonesty of business leaders in marketing their products and services in Indonesia often harms consumers. Losses suffered include material, physical, psychological and mental. Expectation to suppress the high number of fraud cases of business leaders against consumers came after the government published a consumer protection law. Although Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection was enacted almost two decades ago, there are still many consumers who are harmed by the mischievous conduct of business leaders. Legal awareness indicators of Mercu Buana University students in Jakarta on Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection are in the sufficient category. The campus also equips students with Business Law courses. This illustrates that they are critical and thorough students before consuming a product / service. They are able to protect their own interest and those around them in buying and choosing a product and service so that they are able to avoid fraud by business leaders. They are also able to take the necessary steps if the fraud occurs to them.Keywords: Legal awareness, Consumer Protection, Law number 8 / 1999 Students

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemudahan-kemudahan apa pada aspek perizinan usaha mikro khususnya bidang warung makan sebagai legalitas usaha saat berlakunya dan sebelum berlakunya UU Cipta kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research. Teknik Analisa data menggunakan pengolahan dan penafsiran data. Banyak pemilik warung malas mengurus perizinan dengan berbagai alasan. Pendidikan yang rendah, kekhawatiran pembebanan pajak, pengetahuan pelaku usaha yang terbatas terkait manfaat atau peruntukan izin usaha dan kesibukan mereka sehari-hari menyebabkan ketidaktahuan mereka terhadap perubahan regulasi yang terjadi. Pandemi Covid 19 memukul usaha mereka.Terobosan dilakukan untuk mengangkat derajat usaha mikro menuju UMKM yang lebih tinggi. Perizinan usaha mikro jenis warung makan turut mengalami perubahan terkait berlakunya UU Cipta Kerja No. 11 Tahun 2020. Pemilik UMKM wajib memiliki NIB yang berdasarkan tingkat resiko usaha. Kemudahan prosedur, kecepatan mendapatkan NIB secara elektronik, NIB sabagai persyaratan dalam Sertifikat Halal, perlindungan dan pendampingan hukum, pemberian kredit, pelatihan keuangan dan kemudahan lainnya yang disediakan. Hal-hal seperti ini tidak terdapat pada peraturan sebelumnya.

Abstract

Economic pressure for the survival of the family is the reason why some residents of Kota Bambu Utara Village, Palmerah, West Jakarta work as retail gasoline sellers.  This activity is legally prohibited by law. The danger of fire threatens the safety of citizens at all times. The reason for the ignorance of the prohibition is not to justify the existence of this sale and purchase. Product that is easy to sell, the attitude of indifference or omission from officials and local residents, the absence of socialization of regulations and firm actions from local officials  have made the number of retailers continue to grow. The result of the study found that the absence of standard operating procedures, the eaccuracy of the dosage and the purity of retail gasoline products do not meet the provisions of applicable laws.  This study used descriptive qualitative method. The purpose of this paper is to determine the attitude of residents and local officials to the phenomenon of the widespread existence of retail gasoline kiosks according to the Consumer Protection Act.Keywords: Retail Gasoline, Consumer Protection Act.

Abstract

Bagi organisasi, karyawan adalah aset yang berharga untuk mencapai tujuan. Dengan kata lain, karyawan merupakan ujung tombak organisasi. Oleh karena itu, langkah awal kunci utama kesuksesan organisasi adalah proses rekrutmen dan seleksi untuk merekrut tenaga kerja yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Pencarian sumber daya manusia yang unggul dilalui dengan beberapa tahapan diantaranya adalah wawancara kerja. Pada kegiatan wawancara kerja, perusahaan dapat mengetahui kualitas dan kompetensi calon karyawan sebelum menjalani tes seleksi berikutnya. Wawancara kerja yang umum dilakukan adalah bersifat individu dengan tujuan mengetahui latar belakang dan soft skill calon karyawan. Setiap perusahaan memiliki aturan yang berbeda terkait perjanjian kontrak kerja untuk karyawan. Surat perjanjian kerja ini dibuat oleh perusahaan kepada calon karyawan dengan mencantumkan berbagai syarat, hak dan kewajiban yang harus dipenuhi oleh kedua belah pihak Permasalahan yang terjadi pada peserta didik di PKBM 23 Cideng, Jakarta Pusat pada bulan Februari 2022 disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik terkait persiapan menghadapi wawancara kerja dan belum mengenal tipe dari surat perjanjian kerjaKata kunci: wawancara kerja, perjanjian kerja, PKBM

Abstract

An overview of the culinary business licensing for PKK cadres at Puri Harmoni 7 Housing in Cileunyi, Bogor, West Java is a difficult matter, requires no small amount of money, and complicated bureaucracy. This condition causes them to be lazy to take care of licensing. Reluctance and ignorance of the benefits of licensing can cause them to deal with the authorities. This community service is here to provide enlightenment about the ease of taking care of licensing online and its benefits. LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic in collaboration with PT Kinarya Insan Kreatif provides training and counseling. The method of activity is legal socialization through limited face-to-face lectures by complying with the 5 M health protocol. The object of this service is a contemporary food product that comes from cassava. This counseling material includes legal protection and assistance, obtaining a Business Identification Number permit, the establishment of  PT Perseorangan, and halal certificates. The implementation of this activity is carried out through the stages of problem identification, site survey, planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities as well as preparation of reports. Abstract

Fenomena maraknya aksi penipuan yang dilakukan secara sadar atau tidak oleh para pelaku usaha  di media sosial dan televisi membuat banyak konsumen resah. Hal yang juga dialami oleh para peserta penyuluhan ini. UU 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlindungan Konsumen memaksa para pelaku usaha untuk menerapkan hak, kewajiban, dan tanggung jawabnya pada konsumen. Politeknik LP3I Jakarta bekerjasama dengan PKBM Ristek Nusantara Jaya Jakarta dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini. Para peserta  dibekali pengetahuan hukum agar mampu menghadapi perilaku tidak baik dari konsumen, dan upaya pengembangan usaha mereka di kemudian hari dari aspek yuridis. Mendapakan Izin Berusaha merupakan perlindungan hukum untuk ketenangan dan kemudahan usaha mereka. Metode yang digunakan  adalah penyuluhan hukum melalui aplikasi zoom secara daring.    Kata kunci:  Penyuluhan, Perlindungan Hukum, Usaha Kecil dan Mikro.
