Abstract

This Indonesian Literary Novel contains various kinds of events, such as real human events that live in the world, both fictional and reality. Every good literary work always carries ethical and moral messages, so that good literature always voices ethical, moral appeals and is full of trust. The problem in this research, namely: what are the implications of philanthropic attitudes in character education in Indonesian literature (novels)?. The aim is to find out the description of the content of the attitude of generosity contained in Indonesian literary works (novels) related to character education. The benefits of the results of this study as reading material or additional knowledge in studying and understanding literary works, especially events related to the generosity of figures in Indonesian literature (novels). The method in this study uses a qualitative approach, research data. The data of this study are in the form of words, phrases, sentences, in the dialogues of the characters in Indonesian literary novels. The research data includes: items in the theory of philanthropy and character education as well as data sources, namely the text of Indonesian literary novels. The data collection technique in this research is text analysis in the form of language exposure in the novel. This technique is used in the form of textual descriptions. This technique is used to collect research data in the form of literary works, namely: the researcher reads carefully from the data source; the researcher identifies the units of events in each paragraph; The researcher puts a mark on the exposure of the language contained in the novel. The instrument is in the form of a data collection guide containing the data columns found and then presented and discussed. The data collection technique in this research is text analysis in the form of language exposure in the novel. This technique is used in data collection procedures carried out to obtain data. The results of this study are expected to be used as an additional basis for the concept of reference for researchers who are interested in further deepening research on literature, especially the disciplines of philanthropy and character education. This writing produces kindness to the poor, kindness in prescribing medicine, not being arrogant, caring for abandoned babies, caring for others, helping sick people, helping children whose fathers are in prison.

Abstract

AbstractThis article is the result of virtual learning research with research subjects of two groups of students and aims to determine the effectiveness of metacognitive learning so that the components of metacognition in solving problems can be analyzed. The research begins with a pre-test followed by virtual learning and ends with post-test and metacognition questionnaires. During the post-test, students' activities in solving them were observed through awareness, evaluation, and regulation while the metacognition questionnaire consisted of questions about metacognition components. The results of the data analysis show that students who do metacognition, their learning outcomes increase so that there is a relationship between the components of metacognition and the ability to solve problems. This relationship is expressed by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.419 with the regression equation y = 61.02 + 0.287x. This means that each metacognition independent variable can increase the average problem solving dependent variable by 0.287 units. Statistically, metacognitive learning is quite effective in solving problems. Based on these final results it can be recommended that virtual learning with a metacognitive model can be used as a new way and becomes a strong motivation for students to improve their ability to solve problems. Keywords: effectiveness, metacognition questionnaire homogeneous, interpretation, virtual learning. AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian pembelajaran virtual dengan subjek penelitian dua kelompok mahasiswa dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran metakognitif sehingga komponen metakognisi dalam memecahkan masalah dapat dianalisis.  Penelitian diawali dengan pre-test yang dilanjutkan dengan pembelajaran virtual dan diakhiri dengan pemberian post-test dan  angket metakognisi. Selama post-test, diamati aktivitas mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikannya melalui kesadaran, evaluasi, dan regulasi  sedangkan angket metakognisi berupa pertanyaan tentang  komponen metakognisi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan mahasiswa yang melakukan metakognisi, hasil belajarnya meningkat sehingga ada hubungan antara komponen metakognisi dengan kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah. Hubungan tersebut dinyatakan oleh koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,419 dengan persamaan regresi y = 61,02 + 0,287x. Hal ini berarti bahwa setiap variabel independen metakognisi dapat meningkatkan rata-rata variabel dependen pemecahan masalah sebesar 0,287 satuan. Secara statistika  pembelajaran metakognitif cukup efektif dalam pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil akhir tersebut dapat direkomendasikan bahwa pembelajaran virtual dengan model metakognitif dapat digunakan sebagai cara baru dan menjadi motivasi yang kuat bagi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan  kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Kata kunci: angket metakognisi, efektivitas, homogen, interpretasi, pembelajaran virtual.

Abstract

Sebuah karya fiksi yang menawarkan pesan moral yang bersifat universal, biasanya akan diterima kebenarannya secara universal. Novel Segitiga Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono berkisah tentang kisah perjalanan Suryo, Gendis dan Noriko mencari Juru Dongeng. Sehingga tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk nilai moral dalam novel. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data didapatkan dari novel Segitiga Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri selaku instrumen utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui tiga cara yang berbeda yaitu, teknik simak, baca dan catat. Peneliti membaca teks dalam novel Segitiga Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono, menyimak data-data yang terindikasi terdapat gambaran nilai moral untuk kemudian diklasifikasi dan diinterpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa moral dalam novel Segitiga karya Sapardi Djoko Damono adalah, 1) hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, 2) hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial dan lingkungan alam, dan 3) hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan

Abstract

Understanding news text is not just to know a news. Learning about news text is to attract children's interest in learning Indonesian, and children are also eager to learn by watching or reading news so that there is a willingness and ability of children to think by making news. Writing is a creative process of expressing ideas in the form of written language in review, for example, informing, convincing, or entertaining. This research was conducted using the experimental method. Experimental research consists of three main points, namely: (1) the existence of manipulated independent variables, (2) the existence of control or control of all other variables except the independent variable, and (3) the observation or measurement of the dependent variable as the effect of the independent variable This research design uses the experimental design of Control Group Pre Test-Post Test Design. The results of the analysis and discussion show that there is a significant difference between the news text writing skills of experimental group students who follow learning with the synectic model and control group students who do not follow. The difference can be proven by the calculation results on the posttest scores of the control group and the experimental group which show that the mean of the news text writing skills of the control group students is 76.50, while the experimental group is 78.03. Second, the effectiveness of the synectic model in learning to write news texts is also indicated by the results of the t-test comparison on the pretest and posttest scores in the control group and the experimental group which was 96.97. Both groups experienced an increase in news text writing skills, but the experimental group experienced a greater increase. The average score of the experimental group was 78.03, from the average pretest score of 75.94, while the average score of the control group was 76.50, from the average pretest score of 76.31.
