Abstract

Abstrak Panel surya merupakan salah satu sumber energy terbarukan. Panel surya merubah sinar matahari menjadi energy listrik. Kata Kunci :Efisiensi, Panel Surya, Pendingin, Suhu Body  Abstract Solar cells are one source of renewable energy. Solar cells transform sunlight into electrical energy. But the main obstacle of the solar cells themselves are not sustainable energy generated. The solar cell itself has a maximum body temperature which affect the output of solar panels. So in the present study will be made using the solar cell cooling fan heatsink. Body Maximum temperature on the solar cell Sharp ND 120T1D manifold is 45 oC. So if the temperature exceeds 45 ° C will reduce the output of the solar cells themselves. In this study obtained an average body temperature of the solar cells on the campus of electrical engineering, Tembalang at 9 am to 3 pm is 50.14oC and the average output of the panels is 18.80 volts. While the average temperature of the solar cell with the use heatsink is 36oC and the average output volt panel is 19,11. Thus, by using a heatsink cooler temperatures average reduction of 28.20% and an increase in output can be increased by 1.64% of the efficiency of the solar panel is only 12.1%. Keywords: Efficiency, Solar cells, Cooling, Body Temperature
