Abstract

The development of information technology has overgrown and has had a positive impact on human activities. One of the information technology developments is artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence) that can help solve a complex problem, sometimes even faster and more reliably than solving problems by themselves. Various types of artificial intelligence have been developed at this time, one of which is genetic algorithms. Genetic algorithms can help solve lecture scheduling problems hoping that the lecture scheduling process can be carried out quickly, accurately, effectively, and efficiently. At Politeknik Dharma Patria Kebumen, the lecture scheduling process is computerized with the Microsoft Excel application. The system is considered less effective because it requires a high accuracy so that there are no clashes in the lecture schedule, and the process is long and takes a long time. A website-based lecture scheduling information system is needed based on these problems by utilizing genetic algorithms as an automation method. In comparison, waterfall is the method that used in this information system development, with the system modeling using the Undefined Modeling Language (UML). Based on the scheduling system trial results, the most effective time for the lecture scheduling process was 00:12:17 with a population value of 10, a Pm value of 0.4, and a Pc value of 0.7. After designing a website-based lecture scheduling information system using the genetic algorithm, the lecture scheduling process can be carried out quickly, accurately, effectively, and efficiently at the beginning of each semester.

Abstract

MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is an innovation in the field of online learning that has been popular since 2012. MOOC users during the COVID-19 pandemic increased dramatically, but the dropout rate for MOOC was also high. One of the things that causes the high dropout rate is the MOOC design. To get a good MOOC design, it is necessary to design an instructional design. Instructional design is a guide in designing instruction or learning stages to facilitate effective learning so that learning objectives can be achieved. Many examples of instructional design have been introduced in previous studies, one of which is "The 7Cs Learning Design Framework". In this research, a mapping of elements that are found in MOOC will be carried out into the category of MOOC features that are closely related because of the similarity of functions and properties with "The 7Cs Learning Design Framework". It is hoped that after this mapping has been carried out, system developers and MOOC instructors can focus more on a good MOOC design so as to maintain MOOC user retention and satisfaction.

Abstract

Adanya 1 (satu) kuota kekosongan perangkat Desa pada Jabatan Kasi Pemerintahan sehingga Desa Tasikmadu mengadakan Pelaksanaan Pengisian Perangkat Desa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif-kualitatif sesuai dengan alur pelaksanaan mekansime pengisian perangkat desa yang tertera pada peraturan bupati Purworejo. Dalam pelaksanaan penyaringan calon perangkat desa yang dilakukan oleh Tim Pelaksana terdapat penentuan nilai bobot pendidikan dan pengabdian dibuktikan dengan dokumen-dokumen yang valid. Tim seleksi bertugas melakukan seleksi pada aspek kognitif, keterampilan komputer dan keterampilan berbicara. Hasil dari rekapitulasi jurnal nilai akhir 6 (enam) peserta seleksi terdapat 4 (empat) peserta seleksi yang dinyatakan tidak lulus karena terdapat hasil seleksi yang dibawah ambang batas minimal, dan 2 (dua) peserta seleksi yang dinyatakan lulus mendapatkan peringkat 1 dan 2. Setelah mendapatkan hasil peringkat 1 dan 2 kemudian dilaporkan kepada camat Pituruh. Dalam proses pelantikan yang berhak dilantik yaitu yang lulus sebagai peringkat 1. Dampak dari adanya proses seleksi dapat menentukan perangkat desa yang terbaik untuk menjadikan Desa Tasikmadu dari Status Desa Maju menuju Status Desa Mandiri.

Abstract

The progress and status tracking system is a way to increase the writer's service satisfaction to track the progress of books to be published. Unfortunately, this tracking system has not been widely used by book publishers. There are still publishers who only use messaging applications such as WhatsApp and e-mail to inform them of the book's progress. It is not effective in providing information to the author. Therefore, the information system for tracking the progress and status of this book order was designed by applying the prototyping method. This method is considered effective in providing solutions because of its superior communication between the customers and the system developer. The progress and status tracking information system provides information on the progress of book printing to the delivery of books to authors. All information is equipped with progress graphics and update date information. With the implementation of this progress and status tracking information system, the process of conveying information about the progress of book publishing will be more effective and efficient. This will increase satisfaction for the author.
