Abstract

BAMUSI is a new breakthrough for PDI Perjuangan to restore the negative stigmatization directed at PDI Perjuangan so far. BAMUSI is here to build a good image of PDI Perjuangan which has only been buzzing and narrating as a national and religious based party. BAMUSI will make a movement towards Islamic understanding that is rahmatan lil 'alamin bagi for the nation. Political imaging techniques carried out by BAMUSI in increasing the political support of the people of PDI Perjuangan Medan, namely to carry out social services: Social service activities carried out by BAMUSI Medan City is an accurate strategy in approaching and touching the hearts of Medan people in fostering community trust. Delivering Assistance: The political imaging technique carried out by BAMUSI Medan City in increasing community political support for PDI Perjuangan is by channeling aid.

Abstract

The dynamics of regional income has attracted the attention of practitioners, scholars and academics. A critical issue in development for the past and current decades is the disparity or inequality of income distribution among regions. The disparity of income distribution, in this case, refers to the convergence theory of the Solow-Swan model developed by Barro and Sala-i-Martin. Accordingly, the study will identify and analyse several prepositions. The contribution of this work for the next step will provide an additional wealth of knowledge in regional economics and regional development, especially with regard to the convergence of regional income disparities. This study also will contribute to the local governments to accelerate the convergence of income disparities in the Province of North Sumatera. Later, the authors' work will provide input to local governments on the variables that converge or diverge in the process of income disparity convergence so that recommendations can be taken based on the estimated study results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of youth in the implementation of the KOTAKU program in Langsa City, to determine the factors that encourage and hinder youth in implementing the KOTAKU program in Langsa City. The analytical method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis method by looking at the role of youth and inhibiting and supporting factors in the activities of the KOTAKU program in Langsa City. This research was conducted in Langsa City by using a sample in several areas in Langsa City that have implemented KOTAKU program activities. The results of research on youth in Langsa City play an active role in the KOTAKU program activities in Langsa City. The driving factor for the KOTAKU program activities is the participation of youth and communities who want their living areas to be free from slum settlements. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of public understanding of the KOTAKU program and the lack of public awareness in maintaining the infrastructure, facilities and infrastructure resulting from the KOTAKU program activities in Langsa City.

Abstract

The Research used descriptive qualitative method with student political education through Student Association in general. The data were gathered by conducting library research, interviews, and documentary study. Political education is highly needed for a dynamic life of the nation. However, it has a problem since there is imbalance in political development, especially in political socialization with economic development in national development which a part of political socialization in its process. The imbalance is the effect of political participation which does not achieve it totality. The objective of the research was to find out the development of student political education and some efforts to solve obstacles and the dynamics of the development. Besides that, this research was intended to find out the role student association increasing their knowledge and mentality in establishing their intellectual. This research was also expected to be the reference in increasing student political education. It could be concluded that Student Association of Siyasah and Law Department, UIN (Public Islamic University) of Sumatera Utara had done its task ad function well through student affairs programs and is considered successful in guarding the process of student political education. This success is closely related to cooperation between students and the officials in campus in guarding student affairs programs.

Abstract

This study aims to find out therapeutic communication management at Permata Bunda Hospital, Medan. This type of research is qualitative research. This research is conducted at Permata Bunda Hospital, Medan. The result shows that In the application in the therapeutic communication management environment that is carried out by Permata Bunda Medan Hospital, it includes: what activities will be achieved, how to implement them, with whom the implementation will be carried out, when to implement them, where and with what budget, types of activities to be carried out, duration of activities - these activities will take place, the costs of implementing those activities are provided, the income that the hospital will receive.

Abstract

This study aims to get the intent and purpose of news about ISIS in Haria Waspada. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach in which the researcher describes the data that exist in Waspada by using Framing analysis, namely analysis with emphasis on; 1} Scheme, 2} Script, 3} Thematics, and 4} Rhetoric. The data in this study focuses on ISIS news in the Daily News of Waspada, in this study focused on 3 news which is phenomenal related to ISIS. The research results show that: 1. In the scheme, all elements of the Daily Alert report have fulfilled the sheme requirements, wherein there must be a Headline, Lead, Background of Information, Statement and Closing. 2} In Script, This Coverage has used a good script model which includes the script elements, they are; What, Who, Where, When, Why and How. 3} in thematics, the daily news of Waspada has fulfilled its elements, they are; Paragraph and Proportion. 4} while in the Rhetoric element, the ISIS report on the Daily news of Waspada has included all elements of Rhetoric, they are; Words, Idiom Picture, and Graphic. In conclusion, Framing Analysis of news related to ISIS in the Daily News of waspada can be a scientific reference because it has fulfilled all the elements contained in the Framing analysis. Keywords:  Framing Analysis, ISIS, Waspada Daily News

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the likelihood of interpersonal communication and increase awareness of the Reverend Congregation for the active Christian worship in the Church of Jesus Christ Church of God Baithani Medan. To find out how much interpersonal communication relationships Reverend affect the increased awareness of the Church of Jesus Christ is Lord of Medan. Want to know the factors of interpersonal communication that have an influence on increasing awareness of the Church to actively pray at the Church of Jesus Christ Christian Church of God Baithani Medan.The theory used in this study are SOR. SOR theory is the abbreviation of the stimulus (S), Organism (O), and Response (R). Actually, this theory was originally adopted from Stimulus Response model of the psychological approach. So the elements - the elements in this model is a. Message (Stimulus, S) b. Communicant (Organism, O), and c. Effect (Response, R). Learning occurs when there is a response to stimulation of the organism. Thus the stimulus is very important so as to foster interest, understanding and acceptance. In this study, the stimulus is the message conveyed by the minister of communication, attention, understanding and acceptance Baithani Church Christian Church Church of Jesus Christ the Lord is the response of Medan and cognitive effects of increased awareness of the Church to actively pray.In this study sampling techniques using a sample group (Clusters of samples) because the population is composed of categorical groups. The number of samples taken was 20% of the total population, 534X20% = 107 people, divided proportionally based on categorical groups. For the determination of the next sample used purposive sampling methods, sampling the aims, namely to make the following considerations: 1) member Church of Jesus Christ is God Baithani who live in the city of Medan. 2). Member Church of Jesus Christ Christian Church of God Baithani active attending services Sunday at the Church of Jesus Christ Christian Church of God Baithani in Medan. Investigators used a study design is to use Correlational Method to find the relationship between the independent variables with the dependent variable. The design of this study researchers used quantitative research is correlational in design to see the effect of Communication Inter Personal Pastor (X) to increase awareness of the Church to actively pray at the Church of Jesus Christ Christian Church of God Baithani Medan (Y). Based on the results research found that interpersonal communication Pastor (X) has a strong influence to increase awareness of the Church to actively pray at the Church of Jesus Christ Christian Church of God Baithani Medan (Y). Thus there is a relationship interpersonal communication Pastor to increase awareness of the Reverend Congregation for the active Christian worship in the Church of Jesus Christ Church of God Baithani Medan.

Abstract

Pemerintah Provinsi Aceh mengembangkan Kota Sabang sebagai industri pariwisata bertujuan menjadikan alternatif destinasi baru yang ada di Provinsi Aceh. Sumber daya manusia yang paling tepat dalam mengelola aspek wisata khususnya wisata halal adalah para pemuda. Hadirnya para pemuda dalam pengembangan wisata halal memerlukan analisis yang lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor sosial secara simultan terhadap peran pemuda dalam pengembangan wisata halal di Kota Sabang, (2) Menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor sosial secara parsial terhadap peran pemuda dalam pengembangan wisata halal di Kota Sabang. Penelitian analisis peran pemuda dalam pengembangan wisata halal di Kota Sabang ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Seluruh pertanyaan dinyatakan valid dan dinyatakan reliable. (2) Seluruh pernyataan dinyatakan valid dan dinyatakan reliable. (3) foktor-faktor sosial secara simultan memiliki pengaruh terhadap peran pemuda dalam pengembangan wisata halal di Kota Sabang secara positif dan signifikan. Variabel Umur (X1) secara parsial berpengaruh positif signifikan, Variabel Jenis Kelamin (gender) (X2) secara parsial berpengaruh positif signifikan, Variabel Pendidikan Formal (X3) secara parsial berpengaruh positif signifikan, Variabel Pendidikan Informal (X4) secara parsial berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan dan Variabel Pekerjaan (X5) secara parsial berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan.

Abstract

This study is intended to answer the effect of land use, community participation and their relationship toflooding. The result states that land use has a direct effect to flooding with value of about -0.323, all of the land use does not have an indirect effect, therefore the total score is -0.323. Community participation for flood control has a direct effect of about 1.640. The participation does not have an indirect effect, therefore the total effect is 1.640. Community participation has a direct effect to flooding with score of -0.416. The indirect effect is 2.322, while the total effect is 1.906. Land use for flood control has no direct effect and indirect effect. Land use has a direct effect to flood with score of a bout -0.323. It does not have an indirect effect, while the total effect is -0.323. Flood control effect on flooding has a direct effect of 1.416. It does not have indirect effect, thus the total effect is 1.416. The study reveals that the land use and community participation related to flood variables have significant effect. Moreover, flood control effort also has significant effect to reduce flooding.

Abstract

This research was conducted in 13 villages of Secanggang district, North Sumatra Province-Indonesia. This study describes the capacity and condition of harmonious interaction among ethnical communities in regional development, which focuses on villager motivation as intervening variables. Motivation is a very important instrument in bridging the concepts of harmony among communities towards regional development. Development of a region is implemented through harmonious interaction among various ethnic communities that can serve motivation as an intervening variable. This study uses a combination of qualitative (exploratory) and quantitative method.  There is one factor that plays a role as a determinant factor in causing successful development. The interaction, either directly or indirectly, generates assimilation between ethnical cultures.
