Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian umpan balik berbentuk buku saku untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi tekanan hidrostatik di kelas VIII MTs Nurul Alamiyah Wajok Hilir. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pre experimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 36 orang siswa kelas IX MTs Nurul Alamiyah Wajok Hilir tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive Sampling. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka yang terdiri dari 6 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata persentase penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 30%. Hasil uji McNemar diperoleh rata-rata χ2Hitung (8,76) ˃ χ2Tabel (3,84) untuk db = 1 dan α = 5% maka secara keseluruhan terjadi perubahan konseptual yang signifikan setelah diremediasi menggunakan umpan balik berbentuk buku saku. Diperoleh hasil hitung effect size yaitu sebesar 2,72 ( berkategori tinggi). Kata kunci: Remediasi, Umpan Balik, Buku Saku, Tekanan    Hidrostatik. Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of feedback  shaping pocket book to remediate the students’ misconceptions on the hydrostatic pressure material in the eighth grade students of MTs Nurul Alamiyah Wajok Hilir. The method used was Pre Experimental Design with one group pretest posttest design. The sample used in this research was  the ninth grade students of MTs Nurul Alamiyah Wajok Hilir which consisted 36 students in the academic year of 2016/2017 by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection tool used  was a multiple choice test with open reason consisting of six questions. The results showed the decrease percentage average in the number of students who had misconceptions by 30%. McNemar test results obtained by the average of χ2Arithmetic (8.76) ˃ χ2Table (3.84) for db = 1 and α = 5%, then there was conceptual significant changes after being remediated using the feedback shaping pocket book. The effect size result was 2.72 (high category). The result of this research can be used as an alternative of remediation activities for students who had difficulty learning. Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan jumlah siswa  yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi tekanan setelah diremediasi di SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak menggunakan strategi quantum teaching dengan kerangka TANDUR. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental design dengan rancangan one-group pretest-posttest design. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes diagnostik berbentuk two tier test yang terdiri dari 6 soal. Penelitian ini melibatkan 31 orang siswa kelas VIIIF sebagai sampel yang dipilih dengan teknik intact group. Berdasarkan hasil bentuk miskonsepsi siswa tertinggi saat pre-test yaitu pada hukum Archimedes (48,38%). Sedangkan bentuk miskonsepsi siswa tertinggi saat post-test yaitu pada tekanan hidrostatis (45,16%). Dari hasil perhitungan rata-rata jumlah persentase penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 1,61%. Strategi quantum teaching dengan kerangka TANDUR diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa. Kata Kunci : Miskonsepsi, Remediasi, Quantum Teaching, TANDUR Abstract:This research is to determine the decreasing of students?number which getting misconception on pressure topic after remediation in SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak by using quantum teaching strategy with TANDUR framework. The method of this research is pre-eksperimental design with one gruop pretest-postest design. The instrument is collected by using diagnostic test in two-tier-test  form wich consist of six questions. The sampel of this research is 31 students of VIIIF grade which choosen by using intact group tecnique. Based on the result of misconception the highest score of students in the indicator of Archimedes law pretest (48,38%). But in postest the highest score of students in the indicator of hidrostatis pressure (45,16%). The precentage of the average score (1,61%) in the decrease of students who got misconception. Finally, the quantum teaching strategy with TANDUR framework can be used as an alternative to give the remediation of students who got misconception. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi gerak lurus beraturan dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inquiri di kelas X D SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X D SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak dengan jumlah siswa 36 orang. Dari hasil penelitian terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II, yaitu sebesar 5,55 %. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 80,56 % dengan nilai rata-rata 70,69 dan pada siklus II sebesar 88,89 % dengan nilai rata-rata 86,94, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 8,33 % setelah diterapkannya strategi pembelajaran inquiri. Dengan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran inquiri dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa sesuai yang diharapkan dari hasil penelitian. Dengan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran inquiri dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa sesuai dengan yang diinginkan dari hasil penelitian serta strategi pembelajaran inquiri diharapkan dapat digunakan pada materi fisika yang lain untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci : Aktivitas, hasil, inquiri, glb Abstract : This classroom action research aims to improve the activity and student learning outcomes in uniform rectilinear motion of matter using the inquiry learning strategies in class X D SMAN 5 Pontianak. The researchwas conducted in class X D SMAN 5 Pontianak with the number of student 36 people. From the research result an in crease in activity of student learning from the first cycle to the second cycle, ie 5,55%. Percentage completenes student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 80,56% with an average value of 70.69 an the second cycle of 86,94, an increase of student learning outcomes at 8,33% after the implementation of the inquiry learning strategy. With these results it can be concluded that the inquiry learning strategies can increase the activity and student learning outcomes as expected from the research. With these result it can be concluded that the inquiry learning strategies can increase the activity and student learning outcomes in accordance with the desired result of research and learning strategies inquiry expected to be used in material physics else to improve the activity and student learning outcomes.   Keywords : Activities, outcomes, inquiry, glb

Abstract

This study was aimed to examine the effect of a remedial-integrated activity on dynamic fluids materials using generative learning to reduce student misconception in Senior High Schools (SMA). Pre-experimental method with the design of pretest-posttest control group was used in this study. This study was held in SMAN 7 Pontianak, West Kalimantan, involving the total number of 36 students from which were selected randomly at XI MIPA Class (Eleventh grade of Natural Science Class) using the random sampling with intact group technique. The instrument of this study used was the total question of a diagnostic test with 18 multiple-choice questionnaires. Then, the collected data was analysed using a descriptive statistic and t-test. The result of this study revealed that the remedial integration on Physics misconceptions positively decreased the levels of student misconceptions in Senior High Schools against dynamic fluids materials.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah remediasi miskonsepsi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran model problem solving efektif menurunkan jumlah miskonsepsi peserta didik materi suhu dan kalor kelas X IPA MAN 1 Pontianak. Penelitian ini berupa ekperimen semu rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini 33 peserta didik kelas X IPA 3 (kelas eksperimen) dan 33 peserta didik kelas X IPA 1 (kelas kontrol) dipilih dengan teknik intact group. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung < -Ztabel (-5,78 < -1,96) maka Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi peserta didik yang signifikan (? = 5%) antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Besar efektivitas penerapan remediasi miskonsepsi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran terhadap penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi peserta didik tergolong tinggi (d = 1,46). Dengan demikian, penggunaan remediasi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran efektif menurunkan jumlah miskonsepsi peserta didik materi suhu dan kalor. Kata Kunci: Integrasi Remediasi Miskonsepsi, Problem Solving Abstract: The purpose of this Quasi-Experimental Research Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design was used to determine remediation that integrated in the learning is effective to reduce the number of students? misconception about temperature and heat material in senior high school. This study involved 33 students of class X IPA 3 (experimental group) and 33 students of class X IPA 1 (control group) as the sample which had been chosen by intact group. The results based on the U Mann-Whitney test was obtained Zscore <    -Ztable (-5.78 < -1.96), so Ho is rejected. This showed that there are differences significant decreasement the number of students? misconception (? = 5%) between the experimental group and control group. The effect size implementation of the remediation that integrated in the learning to decreased the number of students? misconception is high (d = 1.46). Thus, the use of integrated remediation in learning is effective to reduce the number of students? misconception in the temperature and heat material. Abstract

AbstractThe study examines the effect of problem solving strategy to improve the student?s skill of solving the problem on momentum and impulse. The method of this research is pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest design) with 30 students of X MIPA 3 grade at SMAN 2 Pontianak for participant which has taken by purposive sampling technique. The 4 problems on essay test used in this research. Based of the results, problem solving skills of the student is 21.33% on low category and 69% on high category respectively on pretest and posttest. It improved on medium category with N-gain score 0.607. Wilcoxon test showed significant difference of problem solving skills after momentum and impulse learning with problem solving strategy. The effectivity of this strategy in improving problem solving skills is 6,12 (high level). The results of this study are expected to be an alternative in an effort to improve the physics? problem solving skills of the student using problem solving strategy. Keywords:  problem solving strategy, physics? problem solving skill, momentum and impulse

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efektivitas remediasi menggunakan metode quick feedback dengan rainbow card dalam menurunkan jumlah peserta didik yang  miskonsepsi pada materi hukum Archimedes di kelas VIII  MTs Negeri Semparuk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design yang melibatkan 67 peserta didik terdiri dari 35 peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan 32 peserta didik kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh penurunan persentase jumlah miskonsepsi tiap peserta didik dengan rata-rata 86,9% untuk kelas eksperimen dan 15,08% untuk kelas kontrol. Penurunan persentase jumlah peserta didik yang miskonsepsi tiap konsep dengan rata-rata sebesar 82,22% untuk kelas eksperimen dan 19,54% untuk kelas kontrol. Penerapan metode quick feedback dengan rainbow card efektif menurunkan jumlah peserta didik yang miskonsepsi sebesar 1,87 (tinggi). Sehingga remediasi menggunakan metode quick feedback dengan rainbow card diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: Remediasi, Miskonsepsi Fisika, Quick feedback, Rainbow card Abstract: This study aims to determine effetiveness remediation using quick feedback methode with rainbow card to reduce student misconception on archimedes’s law in VIII class MTs Negeri Semparuk. The research method used is quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design that involve 67 student consist of 35 student for experiment class and 32 student for control class. The percentage decrease student which misconception each student with average 86,9% for the experiment class and 15.08% for the control class. The percentage decrease student which misconception each concept with average 82,22% for the experiment class and 19.54% for the control class. Aplication quick feedback methode with rainbow card effective to reduce student misconception on archimedes’s law as big as 1,87 (high). With the result that remediation using quick feedback methode with rainbow card can be use as an alternatif to repaired student misconception on learning process.   Keywords: Remediation, Physics Misconception, Quick feedback, Rainbow card

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze and produce refutation-structured text handout to remediate student misconception on momentum and impulse. Research and Development (R&D) method used in this study which is adopted from seven steps Borg & Gall development. It involved 89 students from 3 schools in Pontianak and Kubu Raya whom participated in preliminary field and main field. Data collected by using validity questionnaire, student response questionnaire and diagnositc test. The result shows refutation-structure text handout has valid categories which are it can be seen from content feasibility 0,852 (very high criteria), presentation 0,821 (very high criteria), language 96,67% (very good category) and graphic 81,67% (good category). Students response on preliminary field and main field, respectively 81,30% (very high category) and 82,73% (very high category). The results of this study was expected could be used by teacher to remediate momentum and impulse misconception as an alternative media. Keyword: Development, Refutation-Structured Text Handout, Momentum and Impulse

Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to reveal profile, the  percentage and find out the causes of students having difficulty in solving about work and energy. Research conducted at SMPN 12 Pontianak with research subjects wAere 73 students. Data collected by the test essay and interviews. The analysis data technic that did was Miles and Huberman. The results show that students' difficulties are divided into 5 according to the Heller problem solving stages. (1) Difficulty of visualize the problems experienced by students was 95.62%. The cause is because students do not know to draw sketches on the problems. (2) The difficulty of physics description experienced by students was 55.06%. The cause is lack of understanding of the problem given. (3) The difficulty of the plan a solution experienced by students was 47.12%. The cause is lack of understanding of the concept used. (4) While the difficulty of execute the plan experienced by students was 52.06%. Because it is wrong to write down and be asked, it causes students to have difficulty carrying out the plan. (5) And difficulties check and evaluate was 53.43%. The cause is because the students are less careful in checking the answers.Keywords: analysis difficulty, problem solving Heller, work and energy

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to develop a three tier diagnostic test of temperature and heat subject in junior high school. This research explained the characteristics of diagnostic test. The method in this research was developed from Borg and Gall development model which has been simplified.The test consists of 30 multiple choice questions with reason and level of confidence. The test involved 31 students on small-scale trials, and 92 students on large-scale trials. The developing diagnostic test can be used to reveal the misconceptions of students, with the characteristics of 1) high validity level, 2) high reliability, 3) low difficulty level, 4) problems made with simple language 5) designed to detect common mistakes, 6) developed based on early conceptions of students. Based on the characteristics, a question that can be used as many as 13 questions from 30 questions developed.
